An amazing 5 star hotel with room for improvement. We have been 14 days in this hotel, and we absolutely loved the staff, the room, the beach and swimming pools. But the food and drinks were really really bad, it’s like they buy the cheapest possible stuff, even the beer was horrible! If you forget to put the red light in your room the cleaners will knock and open the door straight away at 8:30 am without giving you any second to answer! It is not a cheap hotel and we were expecting a bit more of quality in the food as this is wasn’t Greek standards at all. But the staff was superb, waiters, receptionists, room service all fantastic.

The hotel grounds like the pool and beach is really nice. My room had recently gone through a renovation so it was nice. I cant say that the food was good, the buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner was average at best and they didn't really change the options around each day. As expected the all inclusive alcohol list the use the cheapest spirits so most of it tasted like petrol. I found the staff quite rude and the cleaners three days in a row walked into the room whilst we were sleeping despite do not disturb being on.

We loved every minutes of our stay the staff were all extremely welcoming and nothing was to much effort for them. Its 1 of the nicest hotels I've ever visited the room was amazing and exceptionally clean. The key feature to this hotel personally I believe was the ability to order drinks to the sun beds which gave the holiday a very luxurious feel and the empty cups were always collected before they have any chance of building up. Overall I would 100% rate this hotel a 5* great food, great atmosphere and great staff.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The view was stunning, and the amenities were top notch everything from the pool to the lounge areas was well maintained and comfortable. However, the gym was a bit of a letdown. Some of the equipment was outdated or not functioning properly, and it could definitely use some upgrades. Overall, a great experience, but the fitness facilities could be improved.

We recently stayed at The Ixian Grand, and while we enjoyed parts of our holiday, there were definitely a few areas that could be improved. The outside pool area is absolutely amazing – clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. It’s definitely one of the highlights of the resort. The food, although lacking in variety, was very tasty and well-prepared. We would have appreciated more options, especially for longer stays, but what was available was of good quality. However, there were a few downsides. The cocktails were quite disappointing – watered down and lacking flavour, which was a shame considering the resort’s setting. Also, the lobby area is very small, so if the weather isn’t great, there really isn’t much indoor space to relax. We found ourselves stuck in the room a few times because of this. Another point worth noting is the service – while not unfriendly, we didn’t feel that the staff truly put the customer first. At times it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than a guest, which did impact the overall experience. Lastly, the stone beach wasn’t to our taste – if you’re a fan of soft sand, this might not be the beach for you. All in all, The Ixian Grand offers a beautiful poolside setting and delicious meals, but it could be so much better with a few key improvements in service, indoor space, and drink quality.
