We had a very nice room with a sea view and a very large balcony. However, as far as the housekeeping and the food service are concerned, the hotel deserves neither 5 nor 4 stars. You left your room at 8.00 am in the morning, when you came back from your excursions and wanted to freshen up and rest in your room, this was not really possible, as the house keeping on the rooms on the 2nd floor only wanted to start cleaning at 4.00 pm. The housekeeping management is more than poor. The tables in the restaurant are very small so that you can hardly put your cutlery down. The plates were cleared very late or not at all. So as a guest you had to take it into your own hands. I expect more for 4,500 euros. But what the hotel does very well is the phrase: Extra Charge!!!! We will definitely not be coming back.

A lovely place with a good atmosphere. Breakfast is almost chaotic at times ( coffee line can be long ) Breakfast has plenty of choice but badly placed (cereal in one place,milk in another for example) Rooms are nicely decorated,no side tables next to the bed but you get a tree trunk! At first you think there's not enough storage but it's ok. Location is good with lots of good restaurants and bars in the road just behind. There's a couple of supermarkets and car hire all close by

I recently stayed at The Island Hotel in Crete. While the hotel itself is lovely, with well-maintained grounds and a relaxing atmosphere, there were some disappointing aspects of my stay that left a sour taste. The food, though plentiful, was quite repetitive and lacked flavour, which made dining less enjoyable as the days went on. Unfortunately, the biggest letdown was the dishonesty of the staff. Upon checkout, I accidentally left my jacket on the bed in my hotel room. I realised this while still on the resort, just as my taxi arrived. I immediately informed reception, but the receptionist made only a brief call—without much effort—and told me it wasn’t there. She could see I was panicked about leaving without my jacket, but simply dismissed it. Given how quickly she dismissed it, I found this hard to believe. Earlier in the week, another guest was visibly distressed as her phone had gone missing from her room, which now makes me wonder if there’s a bigger issue here. The lack of care from the staff left a very stale end to my holiday. To make matters worse, when I emailed the hotel upon returning home, they simply ignored my message. A hotel can have great facilities, but if trust is broken, it’s hard to recommend. Sadly, I wouldn’t return.

Truly great hotel! Beautiful, neat, clean. Nice and friendly staff. We have half-board ourselves, so only breakfast. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, 2 of the 3 restaurants are closed and you can only use the evening buffet. That is a pity, but also understandable as we are a bit later in the holiday season. On the other hand, it is great to be by the pool, as it is not so crowded and you always have a spot/sun bed by the pool. These too are very clean, well maintained and really beautiful. You can choose from 3 pools and a "jacuzzi", which is not really a jacuzzi, but lovely to sit in/at. We also had a room upgrade on arrival. We went from a room with garden view, to a room with semi sea view. If I would have paid for sea view, I would have thought it a waste of my money. Anyway, we didn't pay for it :) Alrighty; it’s a very nice hotel with plenty of options for activities nearby, great restaurants and good food. The breakfast buffet is pretty standard, but everything is very fresh and delicious! There is something for everyone. In short, we are extremely happy with our choice of this beautiful hotel!

This is a huge resort hotel with abundant of rooms. It is by the sea which is beautiful scene. Foods at the restaurant are buffet style and quite standard. As my room was mext to the garden, there were a few bugs and mosquitoes in my room, but nothing I cannot handle. Amenities are there with gym and many pools, even a mini mart. Around the area there are some good restaurants and the beautiful oceanic views
