We had an amazing stay at The Fives Oceanfront! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—huge thanks to Luis, Cristina, and Gus for being so warm, friendly, and helpful. The resort has a boutique feel, is beautifully maintained, and offers modern, clean rooms with stunning beachfront just steps away. The à la carte food was consistently delicious, and we loved how close the resort was to local shops and restaurants—it made exploring the area on their complimentary bikes so easy and fun. We also took advantage of the many on-site activities, like yoga, bracelet making, macramé, and even soap making, which added a fun and creative touch to our stay. They also helped us book some great excursions, making it a well-rounded, stress-free vacation. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, beautiful surroundings, and a touch of local culture, this is the place!

Our stay at The Fives Ocean Front in Puerto Morelos was nothing short of unforgettable — a true 10 out of 10 experience, made even more special thanks to two incredible managers: Cristina and Jenny. From the moment we arrived, Jenny greeted us with warmth and care, going above and beyond to check us into a room far more comfortable and luxurious than we ever expected. It truly set the tone for a wonderful week ahead. Throughout our stay, Cristina was simply amazing. Every single day, she took the time to check in with us, asking how we were doing and making sure everything was perfect. She helped us with small things (though there were hardly any issues to begin with) and always with such kindness and professionalism. She even helped us find the perfect table to dine at — her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. All of the restaurants at the hotel were outstanding — delicious food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. And our room? Absolutely flawless. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed — it was truly a dream. Thanks to Cristina and Jenny, our week at The Fives Ocean Front felt like a dream come true. Their dedication, warmth, and exceptional service made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

It’s great! Be careful at checkin they ask you to upgrade hotel rooms, we already had an ocean front view & asked us to pay $100 per night for an upgrade, we said no, and they gave us the ocean front room we already had assigned to us. The hotel, the food & the drinks are better than I have ever had. Amazing foods & amazing drinks. Great service as well! Christina is the best, she made sure we had a wonderful trip.

The hotel is pretty and I liked that it was a smaller hotel and not too crowded. The customer service was extremely attentive upon booking and arrival. The sales person would call me multiple times a day until I booked my reservation. They were so helpful upon arrival, because they were extremely attended as they were trying to get us to upgrade our room and upgrade to all inclusive. The beach was horrible. The water was brown and murky and so full of seaweed that you were not able to swim or even enjoy the beach at all. You had to walk 1 mile south to find water to swim in. I know the seaweed was out of their control, but they should be honest about it not being a “beachfront” hotel because you are not able to access to water. I left three rings in my room and called the hotel within five minutes of checking out. I have emailed and called over 10 times since I left, and everyone just gives me the runaround and tells me to contact the next person. Even if my rings were not found, they could at least reply and say that they were unable to find them. The customer service is very unprofessional not helpful at all, and I hate how they would call nonstop before booking, but after checking out, they are extremely unhelpful. I would never recommend staying at this place and will not be returning. Puerto Morales is a beautiful city and I loved it, but I will be taking my business somewhere else next time.

Her professionalism and attention to detail were truly impressive. She took the time to answer my questions, recommend local attractions, and even provided helpful tips for getting around the city. It was clear that she genuinely cared about ensuring my stay was enjoyable. Throughout my visit, she was always available to assist with any questions or requests. Her friendly demeanour and willingness to go above and beyond made a significant difference in my experience. I cannot thank her enough for her outstanding service. Yoé (Joey) is an invaluable asset to the Fives and I look forward to returning, knowing that I will be greeted by such a dedicated and caring professional. Valeria also is a great person , always smiling, making conversations with guests and making sure that your stay is perfect. Highly recommended!
