Our stay at The Fives Ocean Front in Puerto Morelos was nothing short of unforgettable — a true 10 out of 10 experience, made even more special thanks to two incredible managers: Cristina and Jenny. From the moment we arrived, Jenny greeted us with warmth and care, going above and beyond to check us into a room far more comfortable and luxurious than we ever expected. It truly set the tone for a wonderful week ahead. Throughout our stay, Cristina was simply amazing. Every single day, she took the time to check in with us, asking how we were doing and making sure everything was perfect. She helped us with small things (though there were hardly any issues to begin with) and always with such kindness and professionalism. She even helped us find the perfect table to dine at — her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. All of the restaurants at the hotel were outstanding — delicious food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. And our room? Absolutely flawless. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed — it was truly a dream. Thanks to Cristina and Jenny, our week at The Fives Ocean Front felt like a dream come true. Their dedication, warmth, and exceptional service made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Really nice hotel with amazing food and drinks. Good service in the restaurants. All meals are sit down and served (no buffet) from one of the three restaurants. All inclusive is the way to go here unless you are planning to eat locally (breakfast could run you about 70$ CAD for something pretty simple). Plenty of top shelf liquor and canned/bottled beer (I didn’t use my travel cup here once). Rooftop infinity pool and restaurant is adults only. There are not many kids here (not much for them to do but swim in the ocean) so they are mostly small children with couples. We were upgraded to an amazing room with a room level balcony and rooftop balcony with loungers, patio furniture, whirlpool (we did not fill it as the pools were very clean and refreshing and located on our floor). We did see the regular rooms as well which were also very nice. Fridges, sinks, hot plates and counters for food prep if you so desired. Rooms are very clean (as is hotel), comfortable beds and plenty of towels incl. shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc. There was sargasm on the beach however they had workers out there 7 days a week clearing it and it wasn’t really an issue. The water is very nice all along the beach and you can walk to anywhere you like to go in. There are also restaurants and bars along the beach you can stop into on your way to the market square.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Fives, and I must take a moment to highlight the exceptional service provided by Yoé.(Joey) From the moment I arrive to the restaurant she greeted me with a warm smile and an infectious enthusiasm that instantly made me feel welcome. Her professionalism and attention to detail were truly impressive. She took the time to answer my questions, recommend local attractions, and even provided helpful tips for getting around the city. It was clear that she genuinely cared about ensuring my stay was enjoyable. Throughout my visit, she was always available to assist with any questions or requests. Her friendly demeanour and willingness to go above and beyond made a significant difference in my experience. I cannot thank her enough for her outstanding service. Yoé (Joey) is an invaluable asset to the Fives and I look forward to returning, knowing that I will be greeted by such a dedicated and caring professional. Valeria also is a great person , always smiling, making conversations with guests and making sure that your stay is perfect. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing time during my stay at The Fives. Hotel is located in Puerto Morelos and a short walk/bike ride to the town center with shops. Room was spacious, well kept and modern. Appreciate the sun beds on the balcony to lounge around and tan. Food was superb and fresh, with my personal favourite Al Mare. Tons of daily Joy and Wellness activities available at the hotel including yoga, bracelet making, natural cosmetics workshop, and crafting Ojo de Dios - shoutout to Gustavo for a great way to spend our time at the hotel! Service and staff were amazing. Thank you to Gustavo, Cristina, and Elvis for making our stay very memorable!

We had such a wonderful experience, the Fives Oceanfront. It's such a beautiful hotel, mostly all the staff was incredibly friendly (shoutout to Maria, Yael, Fidel, Christina, and so many more!) they call you family and you truly feel like you are. My one major critique is around the restaurants/food service. The Romarley restaurant was incredibly slow, taking over an hour and a half just to get appetizers. It felt at times like the restaurant staff was very uncoordinated, overwhelmed and there were times that our server never even came to our table (we had to put in our order through the bussers and support staff). We did have only one night of a negative experience at La Mare, our server was super rude and we didn't know what we did but he seemed so attentive and nice to other tables and we could barely get him to come by and take our order and he practically threw the check on the table not even making eye contact with us. Which made that experience quite uncomfortable. But besides that it's been great and thats the only reason I didn't give the service five stars. We are definitely coming back to Puerto Morelos. It's such a quiet and friendly town in walking distance from the hotel. Can't recommend this place enough.
