Amazing experience in a beautiful hotel with a stunning huge pool and many sunbeds at the pool and at the beach. Rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast offers a variety of different meals with freshly prepared omelets or any type of eggs, everything at high quality. For dinner you have a choice of 3 restaurants, one offering buffet during Ramadan with an endless amount of different dishes, everyone will find something amazing for their taste, food is really excellent! The best is the outstanding hospitality, with everyone being friendly and caring from staff at restaurants, the pool, reception and guest service manager. I felt so well taken care of!

Wow… what an amazing experience. We stayed for a week at the Danna - Fuad and his team made our stay truly special from start to finish. The hotel and facilities are excellent, we stayed in a suite which was beautiful, spacious and lovely balconies overlooking the ocean. Food was spot on, some of the best food we have eaten at 5 star hotels, very tasty, lots of options, no charge for room service either. The service from the staff was exceptional - they make a real effort to interact with you and your family, making you feel special and looking after your every need. My wife is gluten free and she was catered for very well by the food and beverage team. The team are fantastic with kids, we travelled with our 4 year old daughter and everyone was great with her, including giving her fish food each day to feed the carp which she really enjoyed. Everything was perfectly clean and the hotel is a short 10min transfer from the airport with beautiful views over the ocean. Thank you Fuad and the entire team at The Danna - we cannot wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this 5-star hotel and honestly felt very well taken care of from start to finish. We stayed at the countess suite, perfect for fam of 4. The service throughout the hotel is excellent. The staff, especially in F&B, work incredibly hard. You can see they put in long days, yet they greet you with a smile every single time. They are genuinely attentive. When our daughter had a small fall, we were so touched that later that afternoon she received a little box of macarons with a “get well soon” message. It’s small gestures like that which really make a difference and show how much they care. Cleanliness is very important to us, and the hotel absolutely delivered. The rooms were cleaned twice a day and always felt fresh and spotless. Housekeeping did a great job consistently. We had dinner twice at the Planters buffet. Normally, we’re not the biggest fans of dinner buffets, but this one surprised us. The patisserie section really stood out — the selection was extensive and everything tasted freshly made and high quality. We especially loved the macarons. On the second evening, we were particularly impressed by the shawarma and the lobster som tam salad. La Terrace was another favorite. The fresh bread served before the meal was always a great start. The pizzas and pastas were very good, and the chateaubriand was delicious. We ate here multiple times for both lunch and dinner. The staff were also very relaxed and accommodating when we asked for simple sides like cucumbers and broccoli for our children — nothing was ever a problem. Breakfast was extensive and very enjoyable. Every morning there were freshly made croissants and pastries from the in-house patisserie team, and you could really taste the quality. We also liked that you could order à la carte dishes like roti canai in addition to the buffet. We had lunch a few times at Straits & Co. After several days of pasta and pizza, our kids just wanted something simple like bread with Nutella or jam, and this was arranged without any fuss at all. That flexibility was much appreciated. We also booked the mangrove tour through the hotel. It is more expensive than booking outside, but for us it was worth it. We really appreciate that the hotel has consciously chosen to work with an eco-tourism focused tour operator. If we had to mention one small downside, it would be that the mattresses were slightly softer than we personally prefer. All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Great service, very good food, high standards of cleanliness, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. We would definitely return.

Absolutely exceptional 5* hotel, proper resort on a tropical island Don’t pass go, just book now! Incredible customer service, wonderful staff, sumptuous suite with even more comforts you could imagine, beautiful bar, gorgeous relaxing pool area, incredibly tasty food and drink and the excursions were incredible too. Big shout out to the housekeeping team, room service and the local drivers we hired for airport pick up and drop off and Kamil our chauffeur for the day of fantastic excursions 5* in every aspect. Loved the Danna and we’ll be coming back!
