Langkawi is a small island, so renting a car is a must to explore—but honestly, we were so glad we chose to stay at The Danna! Our suite was absolutely perfect—beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We loved both the pool and the private beach—warm, relaxing, and the white sand was just stunning. The entire resort is immaculately kept, and the service is truly next level. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. There’s even a lovely library on site, which was such a pleasant surprise! The location is great too—just a short drive from the famous Langkawi Cable Car. From the food and drinks to the thoughtful amenities and outstanding hospitality, everything at The Danna is top-notch. Our family was genuinely so happy with our choice—we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely stunning. This is a quality hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast options. Has a great and big private beach with plenty of accommodation to chill out and relax all day. Close to the main view points and simple to get to. We are already looking into booking again 😊

We had the best holiday at Danna. Our room was amazing with a stunning view. The service was truly exceptional. Minor issue with our room’s air conditioning was dealt with swiftly and effectively. The property itself is beautiful, calm and luxurious. The buffet breakfast at Planters has plenty of options. We especially loved the French toast. The piano dinner on Mother’s Day at Planters was the highlight of our stay. Each dish was very carefully prepared and explained to us by chef Gary. The spa was heavenly, I wish I had booked it everyday 😊 Perhaps my only comment will be to improve the quality of food at Straits and Co. Food there is greasy and heavy on the stomach. Terrace on the other hand was nice!

Where do I start? This was one of the most relaxing business trips I've ever been on. The rooms were comfortable and elegant. The grounds, beach and pool were all what you expected if you wanted to get away from the hustle of life. The staff is outstanding and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Stunning! Luxury and refinement here and customer service above and beyond, so kind and thoughtful at all times. Small but beautiful hotel next to a pretty marina overlooking a peaceful bay and neighbouring islands. We ate at the Italian which was incredible and very good value. We had treatments which were amazing and lovely ladies too great care of us throughout. Very safe and extremely comfortable.. especially the beds!! Love this perfect retreat. Thoroughly recommend!
