Awesome spot with great ocean views, seaweed had overtaken the beach, but the views and pools were great and shuttle service was offered to the nearby weed-free beach daily. Ate at Zen, food and atmosphere were great, also ate at the Italian restaurant on site which too was good. Would not hesitate to return.

I have never stayed at The Crane Hotel but I have been several times to eat and it is always a good experience. The food is delicious. The only criticism was when I paid a deposit and they couldn't find the account number for me to just pay the balance. It took almost 30 minutes for us to make the payment to leave. So we ended up just sitting around waiting. There needs to be a way for it to be more seamless. Waiting 30 minutes just to pay a bill is too long.

The people were very friendly and accommodating! We got a really good deal, and so it was well worth the money. It's was a quiet little island, but the weekly fish fry friday was fun (off the resort) We really can't speak about day life on the resort/night on the resort because we spent a lot of time off the resort. Their were activities daily, but our schedule did not permit our attendance. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and they maintained the property very well. It was a treat to see the monkeys 🐒 in real life. The beaches were beautiful but limited use due to the seaweed (sargassum algae) problem the island seems to be having. We toured the entire island, and all the beautiful beaches were just littered with seaweed with every wave that came in. I'm not a beach bum, so I was fine. Restaurants were available, but it was more cost-effective to eat off the resort or shop to cook in the room as they did have a fully furnished kitchen. Everything was an additional price, so travel with money.

We had such an awesome time lodged at the crane, we were welcomed with a cold glass of punch. Very comfortable room with great view, our room was cleaned everyday. Staff: very friendly and always had a great smile Restaurant: we only ate once at this hotel in our 7 day stay as we wanted to explore other options on the island. We had our anniversary dinner at Zen in one of the Thai boots. Zen had a great view of the ocean. The only downside to this resort is that it’s atleast 20 minutes from where most of the action happens in Barbados. I would recommend getting a car if you plan to stay at this resort and explore the country. Beach: lovely beach view, my wife would go watch the sunrise most mornings and she loved it. The only issue is with the seaweeds. They were always there. The crane management could benefit from netting out the seaweed before it gets to the shore. Overall it was a great experience staying here

The resort is lovely and staff are soo friendly! But we had a full day without water and overflowing toilets right next to the pool. I unfortunately think the whole of Barbados has terrible drainage .
