This was the first time in Barbabos and not the last. The Club Barbados was on a hunch but it far exceeded expectations. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. We had an ocean view loft room overlooking the sea with beautiful sunsets (note small additional staircase). The food was fabulous and plenty of variety. Sandy Lane beach is round the corner and easy to reach and we had beautiful morning walks on the beach. There is free use of beach towels and snorkels and a complimentary 30 min sailing trip which is a must do. Lots of options to see the island. Easy to stay in the hotel but worth seeing Harrison caves and the Nature Reserve and of course Ostins. Best thing was the resort is very relaxed. There is only smart/ casual wear for dinner and don't need to overdress! Try the Bob Marley cocktail!

Would definitely stay here again and recommend. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort pampering to every whim with top of the line facilities at every corner, you might be a little disappointed. However we felt it was perfect for us. Smaller. Quaint. Clean and kept up well. Had everything we needed. Excellent location. Very safe. Good entertainment. Friendly staff overall. Food was not spectacular but good. Drinks were great and free flowing (loved the coffee bar). Beautiful views with one of the best beaches right next door. Loved the whole experience and will probably stay here next time we go to Barbados.

The place was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and we could feed birds on the balcony. Reception was helpful and went above and beyond for us, helping with booking tennis and transfers. We also went to the shop on site a few times and we were always met with friendly staff. The gentlemen in charge of the excursions were funny and helpful we couldn't have asked for better, swimming with sea life and shipwrecks was brilliant. The sunset restaurant outside was lovely and the staff were fantastic even helping me celebrate my partner's birthday. The bar staff also gave off a family vibe and always remembered us. We did hit a couple of issues, after we unpacked and went down to eat you have to book in and we weren't sure how it worked. The staff at booking were really rude in the sunset buffet and we're not happy about us asking questions. They told us to go to the other restaurant (Enids) upstairs and the same happened again there, no conversation, sat us at a table barely spoke to us or made eye contact and we never even got a drink. The whole holiday except the restaurant outside we were served water right at the beginning of the meal but then my partner kept having to go to the bar while we were eating in the restaurants because the servers either forgot we'd ordered, were chatting with each other or didn't ask us at all. Even by the pool during the day no servers in sight and the one guy we did see never brought us our drinks. My partner tried to ask some more questions about the restaurant later in the week and the lady who books everyone in, when my partner tried to ask a question she laughed at him. He came to the bar to get me not wanting to make a fuss but I was fuming so we went somewhere else. Also people on the jet ski pick you up from the sea at the back of the hotel and pretend they are with the free excursions, we found that out the hard way. They put the cooking class on the board and we stayed inside the hotel to do it and then they cancelled it. We still had a good holiday but I have found other places to be better. I didn't feel I got my money's worth which took me so long to save up.

This is a gem of a hotel,having been numerous of times they excel in customer service.The team led by Caroline,Kathy and shift managers lead by example always and I mean always visible to ensure a streamlined experience.Too many to name but all make your holiday memorable,from bars to restaurants ..Jocelyn,Sophia,Corrine,Vinnie,Daniela, Karrene,Darius and Tre.The housekeeping staff deserve praise as does reception and office staff who always acknowledge you when passing.The chefs provide a varied tasty menu to suit everyone .A short walk to the beach to snorkel with the parrot fish makes this paradise.Hotel is being updated which seems to be taking longer than planned but is not noticeable and doesn’t cause any inconvenience . This is Paradise,already booking for next year, Alistair & Yvonne

Vinny and Kareen at the bar were amazing! Kareen made sure to ask for our names and always greeted us with a warm hello! The people at water sports area were great - especially Brian! We booked scuba diving, catamaran and jet skis through him. He was off hours on one of the days and ensured our plans went ahead. The food at the resort isn't the best. During dinner it is common to wait for food (appetizers, soup, entree and dessert) for over 2 hours. The wait staff isn't the friendliest or the most attentive. The beach is nice but it isn't the typical sand walk into the water but rather beach chairs and a rock wall overlooking the water.
