Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, mainly due to the lack of honesty and poor professionalism of the front desk staff. I arrived at the hotel at 6:00 AM after a long journey and was informed that a room would be provided “as soon as possible.” After that, the information kept changing repeatedly: First, they said 10:00 AM Then, they said 1:00 PM Later, they said 3:00 PM There was no commitment, no clear communication, and no respect for the guest’s time just constantly changing promises. This reflects poor management and inadequate training of the reception staff, as if the guest’s time has no value. The issue was not only the delayed room, but the repeated misinformation and lack of transparency. Had I been given a clear and honest time from the beginning, the situation would have been completely different. Instead, I experienced clear disregard for the guest. A hotel that claims to be professional should be prepared to accommodate guests arriving after long flights, not leave them waiting for hours based on unreliable statements. Based on my personal experience: In addition, I was provided with Wi-Fi that did not work at all, which is unacceptable, especially for travelers who rely on internet access. The photos of the pool and facilities online are very misleading. In reality, the pool and amenities are far below the quality shown in the pictures and do not meet expectations at all. Moreover, the location is far, old, and not convenient, which was not clearly reflected when booking. A hotel that claims to be professional should be prepared to accommodate guests arriving after long flights, not leave them waiting for hours based on unreliable statements, while also failing to deliver basic services and accurately represent its facilities. Based on my personal experience: One star is more than enough, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values their time, honesty, or expects respectful treatment.

Had one night here this week after being impressed with the online photos. Well. I am surprised this is a 5* rated on booking dot com. And here’s why; 1. Reception was dusty. The lamps etc not a good first impression 2. Check in took 10 mins. What are you looking at a screen for for 10 mins?! Literally you have the booking. Swipe the room card. Off we go. We checked in 11pm and asked for a late check in- reception kindly gave us until 1pm. 3. No hairdryer in the room which only discovered 20 mins before check out. Asked the housekeeping lady could he he one and he said yes. But it never arrived. Mentioned at reception and they said No rooms have them. Never known a hotel to have no hairdryers. 4. As I had a 1pm check out went back to the room 12.30 to shower and the card access has expired.so I had to go and get the card reactivated. 5. The pool is tiny. And the sign says open 8am. So if you go at 8am the bar area is still set up from The night before. No sun beds. I asked a lad could I have 2 beds and he effiebcoy sorted and got them facing the sun - but put no other beds for anyone else out so it looked like a bar area with a pool and 2 sunbeds. Just badly organised and considered. 6. Checkout took just as long as check in. Literally what do they do staring at a screen for all that time? Service was so formal and stiff. Like they all read form a script and didn’t show the real personality Would not stay here again. Checked into Rove Hotel Deira and wow. Brilliant experience from check in to check out.

The service was very friendly. Ms. Parminder really made an effort to make us feel comfortable. We had a very nice experience. Our room was cleaned very thoroughly every day and beautifully decorated. You could really tell how much effort was put into it. Everything was completely satisfactory. Many thanks to the service team, and especially to Ruwan, for the excellent service!

We had a really lovely stay at Canvas Hotel — our second visit in about 18 months — and it was just as warm and welcoming as we remembered. A huge thank you to Gitika Kumari and Ishita Gomes at the concierge. They were genuinely so kind, helpful and just made everything easier for us throughout the trip. And a shout-out to Rahul at the breakfast buffet — he took such great care of us every morning and was always so friendly. It’s small things like this that make a place feel special. We really enjoyed our time here again and will definitely be back soon.

I stayed at The Canvas Dubai – MGallery and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were friendly and quick to help whenever I needed anything. Breakfast had good variety and the service was smooth. they have a premium coffee machine where you can enjoy a latte or cappuccino. The hotel has a club and a sports bar on the lower level, which is a nice option if you want to relax in the evening. The restaurants also served good food and the service was consistent. Overall, it’s a comfortable hotel with good value for the price. I would stay here again.
