Stunning Resort & Exceptional Staff, With a Few Dining Letdowns Our stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali was absolutely beautiful. The resort is breathtaking, and our villa was everything we dreamed of for our anniversary trip. The private pool, the large soaking tub, and the outdoor shower created such a luxurious and relaxing experience. The staff was truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and always willing to help. They really made our stay memorable. Our only disappointment came from the dining experiences. We visited two restaurants on the property and unfortunately both fell short. At the beachside restaurant, several of the items we wanted from the menu were unavailable. At the rooftop restaurant, we were excited to try the pineapple shisha — especially since it was displayed in the lobby video — but after sitting down and ordering, we were told it wasn’t available. This was discouraging, especially since we were celebrating our anniversary and looking forward to that specific moment. We also considered dining at the underwater restaurant, but before booking we asked if we could take a quick peek to get a sense of the atmosphere — especially after our earlier restaurant disappointments. We were told we couldn’t enter without a reservation, so we skipped it altogether. It would have been nice to at least view the space to decide if it was worth the experience. Aside from the restaurant issues, everything about the resort itself was exceptional. The villa, the setting, the amenities, and especially the service made our stay wonderful. With improvements to dining availability and flexibility, this resort would easily be a perfect 5-star experience.

Went to Apurva for a one-night stay with my boyfriend because we were curious to try two of their restaurants — Bai Yun and Oku. Both restaurants were amazing! The service was superb, and Oku even exceeded my expectations. We had such a great time. The next morning, breakfast was also really nice — great service, good food, and plenty of options. However, we were disappointed with the room. - The bathtub was broken and couldn’t drain. We first reported it around 4 PM and asked the Front Office to fix it while we were out at 5 PM. When we returned at 7 PM, nothing had been done. We called again and requested it to be fixed while we were having dinner at 8 PM. It was finally drained, but once we used the bathtub again, it got stuck and wouldn’t drain again. I think they have an underlying issues here. - The pool also wasn’t great, which was surprising — I’m not sure how no one else seems to mention this. It definitely didn’t feel like the standard of a 5-star hotel. - There was a cockroach on the bedroom wall. We didn’t complain since it wasn’t a big deal to us, but their pest maintenance should really be more thorough. We were on the 5th floor and never opened the balcony, so it was quite unusual to see one inside the room. I genuinely hope these issues can be fixed, because the service and restaurants were fantastic — but the room experience really needs improvement. But will definitely give it another try next time!

We cannot thank Sinta Paramita and Bu Dhanny enough for the incredible support they gave us throughout our wedding journey at The Apurva Kempinski Bali back in 30th November 2025. From the very beginning, they made us feel truly cared for, handling every detail with such kindness, patience, and professionalism. Sinta was always attentive and reassuring, making the planning process feel smooth and stress-free. Her warm communication and willingness to help with every little request meant so much to us. Bu Dhanny brought such grace and expertise on the wedding day itself. She ensured everything flowed beautifully, allowing us to simply be present and enjoy each moment. Thanks to both of them, our wedding became even more magical than we imagined. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, warmth, and heartfelt support. Highly recommended for anyone planning their special day at this stunning venue.

One of the best resorts I have stayed. Best services and facilities. I remember the doorman ‘Weda’ being so kind and helpful until the last day. But I think it needs to pay more attention to water quality management. Looking at the water in the main pool, there's a lot of debris floating or sinking.

Amazing place, the building itself is magnificent. Services is great. Their foods, especially the breakfast buffet, improved a lot since last time I visited (which is november 2024). For me their massage is just the same as common spa. But the view, in room, and the services is really good. Must reserve at least one day before. The best part is enjoying the building view from the main pool, during sunset time. Waiting the building’s light turned on. Make sure you are willing to spend a considerable amount of money to stay here. For me it is worth it for holiday.
