Very nice hotel. Nice beaches and large pools just got a bit sunburnt 🤣🤣 Japanese dining is particularly nice with self grilled wagyu. Breakfast buffets pose a wide variety of traditional as well as western style cuisines. Poolside restaurant serves many simple but delicious dishes that we enjoyed much. Overall, the hotel rooms varied quite a lot. The one we booked was a bit smaller than expected, but consisted of amazing furniture, complimentary snacks, and was quite cozy and refreshing to stay in. However, we could see some of the rooms had private pools depending on which one you stayed in. Great experience and definitely lives up to its reputation

This is our second time back to Kempesiki we loved it every time we were here. Excellent experience and everything is beyond our expectations. Food is amazing and view is spectacular, we love how brand new are the rooms and ocean suite with private pool view is breathtaking. Dedi assisted us a few times and he remembered all our kids names and very interacted with them, the kids club is one of a kind. We managed to get a lot of adult time with young kids we don’t get them to like kids club often but the staff there play with them and we had the best time. The under ocean restaurant is the best experience and kids loved the camel ride too! Will absolutely come back!

What a beautiful hotel, the architecture is truly beautiful with so many different places to enjoy the surreal view. We stayed in a Prestige Ocean View suite and it was STUNNING. It has a private plunge pool, is very spacious and was very comfortable. The servicing of the room for the first few days didn't happen until 3-4pm which wasn't convenient, however when we raised this with the Red Lady service, it was done much earlier on our second last day which we appreciated. We did have some confusion where we attended an afternoon tea which was included in our package - the room capacity is 3 people - our 6 year old was not included for breakfast or afternoon tea. We paid for 6yo to have breakfast. For afternoon tea; she wanted a bowl of shaved ice only - the servers said the hotel policy was that we had to pay for her. To be honest, this was disappointing, it didn't make sense. To offer such great service on all accounts, but to ask for $24 for her to have afternoon tea - a bowl of shaved ice - seemed unreasonable. Again, I advised the Red Lady service and they reiterated that this was correct. However, the following day when my husband took the kids to breakfast - they apologised and offered her to have breakfast and afternoon tea complimentary which was appreciated. The manger of this area was lovely and very much went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our stay, he said hello every breakfast. The dining within the hotel is of a higher price point as you'd expect for this 5 star hotel. If you're Aussie - expect to pay Aussie prices or slightly more. The pools are AMAZING with many different options. The kids LOVED the slides! Overall, it is a stunning stunning hotel and we'd love to stay here again.

We had the most wonderful one-week stay at Apurva Kempinski with our family, including our young toddler. From start to finish, everything was flawless. We split our time between the Grand Deluxe Room and a stunning Two-Bedroom Villa — both were spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The service was truly exceptional — attentive, warm, and thoughtful. A huge highlight was the Villa Lounge staff, who not only greeted us by name but went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. A special thank you to April and Sekar for their outstanding hospitality. They even remembered to pre-order my masala tea every morning — such a lovely touch that made all the difference. We also celebrated my partner’s birthday at Koral Restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable. The ambiance, the unique setting, and the impeccable service made it such a memorable evening — a perfect way to mark a special occasion. The views from the resort are absolutely breathtaking — we often found ourselves just pausing to take it all in. For dinner, Baiyun Hot Pot quickly became a favorite of ours. The food was delicious and the experience consistently excellent. Apurva Kempinski gave us a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and warm hospitality. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!

I must give a huge shout-out to the incredible house keeping team—Bagus, Olan, Deva and Pasek. Their work was absolutely flawless. Every day, my room was spotless, fresh, and welcoming, but what really stood out was how they consistently went above and beyond their duties. From the smallest details to their warm and professional demeanor, they truly made my stay exceptional. It’s rare to see such dedication and pride in work, but Bagus, Olan, and Pasek set the gold standard.
