    An amazing stay at Alantara. Beautiful, tropical, calm sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the outside. One would be content remaining within the hotel for the entire holiday. Location- if hoping to wander out useful bus shuttle service every 2 hrs to tourist strip. Otherwise a 10 min walk will take you to shops, spas and warungs. However if unused to crossing busy roads full of vehicles not stopping for you, best to not venture out. Service was 20/10. Very attentive staff. Only con was the food- as expected prices were steeper in hotel, however would have liked to see a more authentic Indonesian spread. The breakfast buffet nevertheless had a good varierty. Would certainly stay again at this wonderful hotel !

    We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were really amazing - nothing was ever too much trouble and they were all so friendly. Our room was fine (although we would have preferred not to climb the two flights of stairs but that was our mistake for booking late.) and very quiet . We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a good selection of both Indonesian and European foods. Friday evenings entertainment was excellent despite the heavy rain and we enjoyed the spa massage - discounted for guests. This is a really European hotel with a number of different nationalities. We liked the fact that there were so many different age groups. For something different walk the 2 minutes around the corner to Malaika Secret Restaurant - make sure you book! You will not be disappointed!

    3 nights stay. Warm welcome by all staff. Nature bubble here. Great pool, with kids section. Pool bar too. Staff very caring & helpful. Good to have a chat with them. Had two issues with the room (AC & bath drain), but they solved it. Breakfast buffet one of the nicest seen in Bali, a lot of choice. Experience Wednesday seafood market here for dinner with live music. Complimentary massages perfect, same as other spa treatment. A bit expensive though. Overall nice place to stay away from hustle and bustle. Complimentary shuttle helps too !

    We stayed only one night and that was a mistake as the hotel is amazing, looks much better then on the photos. We had a beautiful big room with a private swimming pool - very recommended for the honeymoon! Staff is very nice and the restaurant serves nice food. There is a cool bar with stools in the swimming pool and in general the swimming pool area is very nice.

    Perfect service. Helpful staff. There only one issue which could be dangerous. In my room there is a kettle but the lead was too short. I had to put the kettle base on a saucer to avoid risk of boiling water scalding me. A block of wood or a stand or a longer lead perhaps a better sited plug socket would have prevented this risk. There's no USB points either so bring your adapters. Despite these two negative issues, don't get me wrong. This is a very well run and well maintained establishment with the most polite and helpful staff you will ever find. There's some good meals and healthy drinks to be had in the restaurant where again the service is first class.
