We had a great, quiet stay. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to unwind. The front staff were always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and poolside bar staff were excellent, warm, attentive, and always happy to have a laugh, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent too, which was a nice bonus. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the peaceful pool and grounds were perfect for relaxing. The property feels chilled and tucked away. Overall, it was a great spot to switch off and enjoy some downtime. We’d definitely go back.

This was our first time staying at the Alantara and we loved it! The hotel is beautiful and the pool woth the floating mattresses amazing. The staff is so attentive especially Edy. We felt right at home. The bathroom in our room was a bit annoying. The shower is weird as you get your towels wet when entering and the door knob with the towel rack for the toilet seems to be attached on the wrong side of the door. Otherwise we were very happy. The spa was not great - would unfortunately recommend booking a massage outside the hotel.

You will be hard pressed to find a nicer small hotel. Beautifully maintained, clean, excellent bedding Lush towels. Large balconies. Tropical landscaping around circular pool. You will receive fresh juice, wet towel and flower for your hair upon arrival. Staff are always smiling and eager to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The food is outstanding. Breakfast buffet changes and will not disappoint. Etta is lovely to chat with and will share some fun Bali folklore.

Boom, boom and boom! This resort is just lovely, from the moment our lovely driver, Wira, picked us up, until our departure for the airport, two days later. The resort is reminiscent of Maldives; perimeter rooms surrounded by jungle vegetation and a large pool with an island in the middle, around which you could do laps. Our room was lovely - all the usual luxuries and layout, with the outdoor feel shower, large comfy bed and outside space (but look out for mozzies, they are defo around). Food was great as well, our reacquaintance with Nasi and Mie Goreng served properly was very yummy. If you are going to eat a fried egg, then let it be perfectly cooked like these. Breakfast was a great mix of west and east. Amidst the bacon and sausage on my plate, you would have found rice, noodles, chicken with red peppers (and extra chillies). Finished with toast and Vegemite (Christ don't the Aussies need to get over that crap and discover Marmite, or better still, Bovril) and Pineapple jam (just not on the same bread, I'd hasten to add). As it was, I was too chilled to take any photos, sorreee.... There are lots on here already so look at those instead.

Special thanks to the service staff: Pandi, Ita, Ayu (Spa Service), Ayu (Reception) & Eltha. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome and at home. Their warm hospitality set the tone for our stay. Even though we arrived before the 2 PM check-in time, they went above and beyond to prepare a room for us right away, and we were able to enjoy a lovely meal at the restaurant. The highlight of our experience was the team’s exceptional care in accommodating my wife’s gluten and dairy allergies. This level of attention and personal interest made a world of difference and showed how much they value their guests. Please continue this wonderful approach—it’s what makes your service stand out.
