My stay at The Abidah hotel was nothing short of awesome. From Nikki at check-in who made sure our welcome mat was placed to the bartenders Rico and Kyle who made our drinks with love and other staff. The room was beautiful, jacuzzi was relaxing and the food was awesome from breakfast to dinner. I will definitely recommend The Abidah Hotel!

We just returned from a 10 day stay and it was perfect. Rooms, food and employees were fantastic! No complaints from me. I certainly would recommend this place.

I had many issues within the resort, the first major issue was the broken air conditioner I reported it many times as my mother has asthma and nothing was done until the last night of our trip. I was ensured a refund for this issue but every time I call the manager is "never there". Expedia reached out as well and the manager is not there. How can you manage a resort yet you're never there. Another issue is the lady at the front desk the elderly lightskin one. She was very rude and likes to do things intentionally. She tried to charge us extra for a taxi ride which was not the same price we paid and she tried to make a lame excuse to justify herself. We signed up for the complimentary dining experience at the sister location and nobody ever came to pick us up. I did like the bartender and everything else at the resort was fine.

Whilst the hotel is nice in a good location, I found the service pretty poor. First of all when I arrived I was told that the hotel does not have porters to assist with luggage. In addition there were no trolleys. I had to carry my two suitcases and hand luggage by myself to the 4th floor. The hotel has one elevator. So if there is any fault with the elevator one has to walk up the stairs. A hotel of that size must have at least two elevators. Indeed, the elevator did have a fault yesterday and I had to walk up the stairs to the 4th floor. Today, when the room was cleaned the cleaner took the used towels away but forgot to replace them with clean towels. I had to call three times before someone eventually brought a clean set of towels, half an hour later. Lastly, at dinner earlier today, I ask for butter and it never arrived. The ladies in the dining room kept telling me it was coming but it never came. After 20 minutes I gave up. I doubt if I will ever stay in this hotel again.

Where do I begin? This place is absolutely AWESOME! My husband and I are world travellers and this is one of the best resorts we have ever been to. From the moment we checked in, Shawnice made us feel welcome (and she was also very helpful in booking our snorkeling trip). The food has been non-stop over the top; hats off to the amazing chef here, whose creativity and skill in the kitchen was top notch. In the restaurant, all wait staff were friendly and accommodating. A special shout out to two of their younger members, Christina and Kyle: keep doing what you do because you made us very happy. And, last but not least, a BIG star to the Wizard behind the Bar…Andreah. This gentleman understands the importance of stellar customer service. We appreciate you man. Management at the Abbidah should also be acknowledged because, clearly, they have nurtured a caring responsive staff/team. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😊
