An Unforgettable Stay! Our stay was truly memorable and amazing. The entire experience was unforgettable! The staff were exceptionally friendly, everything was clean and tidy, and the food was absolutely delicious. I must especially mention Sathsarani from reception and Lakmal from Chatters Bar — they were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. Their warm service really made a difference. Highly recommended!

Right from the check in we were blown away by the level of hospitality shown by the staff. We were welcome grandly. We reserved a deluxe family room and the room was a real treat. It had ample space for the 4 of us with all the necessary amenities. The room was really beautiful as well. They had a pair of bunk beds on the side which was quite a unique feature. The room had a nice smart tv and a very good wifi connection. We were treated with a nice sea view in the room as well. The food was absolutely delicious. The buffets had a good spread and variety and the chefs had outdone themselves with the food. It consisted of two beautiful large swimming pools which were really well maintained and were refreshing. They had a pool table, carrom board and a lot of board games to keep ourselves occupied. All in all it was one of the best hotels that we have ever visited.

I stayed at Thaala Bentota Resort for just one night, and it was truly a delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed for a short but relaxing stay. The resort grounds are lush and well-maintained, creating a peaceful and tropical atmosphere. We had dinner at the resort’s restaurant, and the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served with great hospitality. Breakfast the next morning and Lunch offered a good variety and was equally enjoyable. Though our stay was short, we managed to take a quick walk along the beach and dip into the lovely pool before checking out. It was the perfect escape from the city, even if just for one night. Highly recommend Thaala Bentota for anyone looking for a quick and relaxing beach getaway. Would definitely return for a longer stay next time! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

We stayed for one night and had a great experience. The room was spacious and well-equipped with excellent facilities. The staff service was outstanding—especially from the front office and housekeeping teams. The food was delicious, with a great variety and well-arranged presentation. The surroundings were beautiful, offering plenty of great photo spots. While the beach is not ideal for swimming, it still adds to the scenic atmosphere. Overall, we highly recommend this place for both friends and family.

Had a wonderful stay at Thaala Bentota Hotel. The food was delicious, with a great variety at both the buffet and the restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and caring, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful environment and looks amazing — especially with the artistic touches in the design by late Geoffrey Bawa. The amenities were very good, spacious and well kept rooms and the pool was fantastic. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it!
