We stayed at Thaala Hotel from 10th Jan 2026 to 12th Jan 2026 and had a wonderful experience. It’s a beautiful hotel with spacious and clean rooms that made our stay very comfortable. The pool was lovely, and we really enjoyed spending time there. The food was great, with a wide variety of options in the buffet. The service provided by Pramodya, Tharaka, Dasun, and Amandi during the buffet was amazing. They were attentive and friendly throughout. One of the highlights was the perfect sunset view from the beach right in front of the hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with stunning views and excellent service.

I had truly memorable stay at thaala bentota resort with my family. It was a great experience. First of all the front office staff welcomed us warmly with kind smile. It make us comfortable right away. Beach front location was stauning. Perfect place to spend the relaxing vacation.

We have just spent 12 days at this beautiful hotel the grounds are seren staff so welcoming Nishadhi Amandi Pramyoda very attentive. Isuri great at the bar. Food was excellent choice flavour and variety. Pools relaxing. The beach was paradise,beautiful sand and sea,perfect for a morning walk. The only minor issue is the train line running directly behind the hotel ,daytime not particularly noticeable. Early morning 5am the trains use their horns which if you're a light sleeper take ear plugs. We will definitely return. Melanie and Mark
