The Tamassa all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast at Show
  • Lunch in the hotel’s restaurants or a picnic basket for guests on excursions (24-hour notice required)
  • Dinner at Show (buffet) or Playa (a la carte, for guests staying in Superior Rooms, Ocean Superior Rooms, Tamassa Family Rooms and Family Suites) – the hotel reserves the right to close one restaurant throughout the year
  • Guests staying in Tamassa Rooms get a 20% discount at Playa for lunch and dinner (applicable on food only)
  • Afternoon tea served every day at B-Bar (3.30pm to 4.30pm)
  • Drinks in all restaurants and bars, including soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, wines, juices, mineral water, cocktails and liquors (until 12 midnight, daily)
  • In-room tea and coffee-making facilities
  • Minibar, filled with water, juices, soft drinks and beers, refilled once a day

We had an absolutely wonderful time at La Playa Restaurant, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the team. A special mention goes to Jaya, Loana, and Santana, who were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire experience. Their professionalism and friendliness made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting. A heartfelt thank‑you as well to Mr. Siven, whose leadership and dedication to great hospitality truly show. His presence added an extra touch of comfort and ensured everything ran smoothly. From start to finish, the service was outstanding and made the visit memorable. We are already looking forward to returning for another amazing experience.

3.1.26-10.1.26 We recently stayed at your hotel for 7 days during our holidays and would like to share our feedback regarding our experience. While there were some positive aspects to our stay, we unfortunately encountered several issues that affected our overall satisfaction. The Wi-Fi connection was poor from the time we arrived, which forced us to use our own mobile data throughout the stay. Room cleaning was usually done in the afternoon, which was not always convenient. We also noticed that used plates and empty beer bottles collected from guest rooms were stored uncovered under the stairs, which raised hygiene concerns. Service at the bar was inconsistent. On one occasion, a staff member took our order and did not return. In general, the main bar staff did not seem attentive, and we often had to wait a long time before our orders were taken. Similarly, some buffet staff members appeared uninterested in assisting guests. On Monday, I specifically asked a staff member about when the foam activity would take place in the swimming pool for the children. I was informed that it only happens on Fridays and Saturdays. Unfortunately, when we were present yesterday, there was no foam activity at all. This was disappointing, as guests rely on staff information to plan activities for their children. It is concerning when incorrect information is provided. We also found the bed and pillows to be very hard, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Considering that we paid Rs 170,000 for a 7-day stay, we feel that the level of service provided did not meet the standards expected at this price point. However, we would like to commend the staff at the Playa restaurant and Mr selven (from the main bar), who were welcoming, professional, and provided excellent service.

Spent a week in a family room. The hotel needs renovation, the room and facilities are outdated. Restaurant felt dirty. You need a taxi or car to get around as it is far from everything, although this is its beauty at the same time. The garden, pools and the beach look amazing. The kids club is a joke. There are no toys, it is literally empty. There are some low cost programs which the kids enjoyed but wouldn't live up to European standards. Reception told us it was open till 10pm but when we arrived at 7, they said it was already closed. Meals are usually the same, although there is great variety. My son is gluten free, they offered to cook separately and they seemed to understand this condition - they were nice and tried to help us. At the same time, it took A LOT of time till it was ready ( even when we specifically told them in advance that we come at 8 pm, they told us at 8.25 that there is no penne just spagetti - sooo?? They haven't even started then! My son was starving till he got the food.) Free kayak, sailing, glass bottom boat available which is also nice. All in all we had a great time.

Dining at Tamassa felt like a journey through the best of Mauritian and international cuisine. At the bar, Ishal stood out with his friendliness and unmatched talent. His signature cocktails were unique, refreshing, and crafted with a personal touch. Every evening at the bar felt special thanks to his warm service and creativity. We were also impressed by the professionalism of the management team. Nishad, the Operation Manager, ensured everything ran smoothly and was always available with genuine care. Sandesh, the Head Housekeeper, maintained spotless rooms and immaculate cleanliness throughout the resort. Beyond the service, the hotel’s atmosphere is vibrant yet peaceful—perfect for couples, families, and anyone seeking a true escape. The combination of exceptional staff, breathtaking location, and top-tier service makes Tamassa Bel Ombre one of the best resorts on the island.
