Had an absolutely incredible stay at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives, we spent 2 nights in a water villa and 2 nights in a beach villa, and both experiences were equally beautiful in their own way. The property is stunning, but what truly makes it special is the exceptional hospitality. A big thank you to Charu (Duty Manager) who went above and beyond to resolve a small issue for us late at night, even outside working hours - truly impressive dedication. Salah (Our Host) ensured our entire stay was smooth and comfortable, always attentive and kind. Salar from Housekeeping Team kept our villa immaculate every single day. Dining experience was equally amazing — Sana and Ekta at 24 Degrees were wonderful hosts, making every meal feel warm and personal. We also tried Mongolian cuisine, and Chef Mukesh was outstanding — the food was absolutely delicious. Special mention to Chef Luke for maintaining such high culinary standards overall. Taj Exotica is not just about luxury, it’s about genuine care and heartfelt service. Truly a memorable experience!

Taj Maldives: Where Luxury Meets Heart – A Stay So Magical, You’ll Never Want to Leave 🌊✨ Right from the beginning till the very end, we could feel the true “Tajness” of Taj. Our stay at Taj Maldives was a perfect blend of warmth, luxury, and genuinely heartfelt hospitality. Mr Ali made our arrival and departure seamless, helping with amenities, tickets, boat transfers and immigration with a constant smile. Our butler, Mr Nadeem, was always just a moment away, even guiding us while snorkelling so we could see the most stunning corals, and ensuring every detail of our stay was comfortable and effortless. Ms Nishmita ji took exceptional care of our food preferences throughout, while Chefs Prakash Dube, Luke (Italian specialist), and Bahadur (Asian specialist) created unforgettable dishes – from dal makhani and sweet chilli lotus stem to pesto pasta and mushroom ravioli. At 24 Restaurant, Rabeem, Shahjahan, Alaau and Naushad served us with warmth and grace, and at Mediterraneo by Jeffery Vella, Ritesh, Manager – Food & Operations, elevated our dining experience. Duty Manager Mr Jinan ensured we were always looked after and even arranged for our return boat to pass through dolphin areas – a breathtaking, unforgettable moment. Under the leadership of General Manager Mr Abnash Kumar, every interaction felt like VIP treatment. Highly, highly recommended.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained, and the overall facilities and hospitality were good, as expected from a Taj property. The rooms, ambience, and service standards were up to the mark. Staff was exceptionally supportive and friendly especially mohammad jinan duty manager helped me alot with things However, the food experience was quite disappointing. For such a big and premium brand, the dining options were very limited. There was no buffet system, and indian food options were especially scarce. As a result, we had to repeat the same dishes every day, which became monotonous.

The hospitality and service surpassed anything we could have imagined — exceeding every expectation in the most regal and gracious setting. One doesn’t fully appreciate the humility, warmth, and natural hospitality of the Asian spirit until experiencing it so personally. Every detail was meticulously considered. From the reception desk to the drivers, from the waitstaff to the bartenders and restaurant teams — each person went above and beyond to make every moment feel effortless and welcoming. Would like to shout out for Simo & Jinaan (our liasions), chef Prakash & Luke; bartenders Ritesh, Raja & Bilal. The spa was extraordinary, the masseuse were beyond excellent.

It’s difficult the explain how good this resort is. The top reasons are location, fantastic amenities and warm and extremely helpful staff everywhere you go. The kindest people you will ever meet. It’s great for couples, the resort has a sense of exclusivity. Food menu is rich and there is a variety of cuisine choices. Go full board or half-board. Go snorkeling. It’s real paradise.
