As Hungarian–Romanian–Austrian citizens who have travelled and dined in many countries, we can confidently say that Nishan is one of the most professional and exceptional waiters we have ever met. Nishan was perfect in every way: – impeccable manners and elegance – fast, precise and discreet service – confident food and drink recommendations that matched our taste exactly – genuine attention to every detail and a truly guest-focused attitude What made the experience even more special was Nishan’s personality and energy. He greeted us with a smile, was warm, respectful, and made us feel truly welcome. He didn’t just serve us — he created an experience, and that is the highest level of hospitality. Nishan’s work is exemplary, rare, and deeply appreciated. We are convinced that he is one of the greatest assets of the restaurant and the entire resort. We sincerely recommend him to everyone, and we thank Nishan from the bottom of our hearts for the unforgettable experience!

I recently dined at the hotel and had a truly pleasant experience. The dinner spread was decent with a good variety of dishes to choose from, well-prepared and satisfying for a relaxed evening meal. What really made the experience memorable, however, was the exceptional hospitality from the staff. A special appreciation to Mr. Abdul and Mr. Jaywardhan whose warm service, attentiveness, and genuine care added a personal touch to the evening. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and the excellent service recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable dinner with great hospitality.

We stayed as a family with two toddlers in a Family Luxury Seashore Room. The hotel grounds and pool facilities were beautiful, and the staff were generally very responsive and courteous. We enjoyed many aspects of the stay, but there were a couple of points that affected our overall comfort. In our room, we noticed some discolouration in the bathroom area that seemed to contribute to the children coughing at night. When we raised this with the team, management attended promptly, addressed the area cosmetically, and provided an air purifier, which we appreciated. The pool operates on a first-come, first-served basis. While this system is understandable, the one-hour holding time made it a little challenging for us, as breakfast with toddlers can take longer and required us to return frequently to keep our place. The manager, Michelle, was very understanding and kindly helped provide some flexibility, which made things easier. Overall, the hotel delivers a high standard, and while a few elements didn’t perfectly match our personal expectations based on other places we’ve stayed, we still found many positives and thoughtful staff support throughout our visit.

The only good thing about this hotel was the room itself — everything else fell short of the high standards I’ve come to associate with the Taj. I make it a point to celebrate my birthday at a Taj property every year. I’m a regular guest at Taj Rambagh and Taj Exotica Goa, and I’ve always loved their impeccable service and warmth. Unfortunately, my experience at Taj Exotica Dubai was far from that. The staff here seemed as if their smiles were forced — lacking the genuine warmth Taj is known for. Despite mentioning that I was celebrating my birthday, not a single person had the courtesy to wish me. I even had dinner at the Varq restaurant, where the dessert (Jalebi) was so poorly prepared that it upset my stomach. When I shared my concern with the chef, he responded with an unprofessional, dismissive expression. The reception staff were equally indifferent — the check-in felt cold and unwelcoming. I had to personally request someone to decorate my room for the occasion, which should have been taken care of proactively. Even the birthday cake provided was disappointing — unnaturally yellow and unappetizing. This property does not reflect the Taj hospitality I have experienced elsewhere. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on reinstating the attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care that define the Taj experience.

My stay at The Taj Exotica Resort & Spa was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful — a perfect escape from the bustle of the city. The entire staff was genuinely warm, attentive, and delivered exceptional customer service and hospitality. Every interaction felt personal and kind. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out as well — from the rooms to the common areas, everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. You can tell the team truly takes pride in every detail. Not to mention the spa is amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene, comfortable, and welcoming stay in Dubai. I look forward to returning!
