A beautiful private island retreat, the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is a stunning example of luxury holidaying in the Maldives with the finest array of services and leisure facilities. Accommodation is a superlative array of villas and suites all boasting Indian Ocean views with direct lagoon or beach access. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the signature Taj hospitality, making the entire experience truly unforgettable. Service & Hospitality – 10/10 The staff at Taj Exotica went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and luxurious experience. Every team member was attentive, warm, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect. A special shout-out to Ziju and Reza, our buggy drivers, who were absolutely amazing—always polite, prompt, and welcoming with a big smile. Their friendliness added to the charm of the resort, making every ride around the island enjoyable. Accommodation & Ambience – Breathtaking We stayed in a Lagoon Villa, and it was stunning. The villa was spacious, elegantly designed, and offered [mention highlight—direct lagoon access and had a infinity pool. Waking up to the turquoise waters and enjoying sunsets from our private deck was surreal. Dining – Culinary Excellence We had all our meals included, and the food was consistently outstanding. Special mention to Rabeen, Riyaaz and Ismail for their warm service and attention to dietary preferences. Final Verdict Taj Exotica Maldives is a paradise for those seeking luxury, serenity, and world-class service. The attention to detail and genuine warmth of the staff made this one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing week at this hotel! I’m sure there are many great places to stay in the Maldives, but this one is special. It’s been around for almost 40 years, and while you can see a bit of wear, it’s very well maintained and clearly run by people who know how to offer excellent service and a great experience. We especially recommend it for its unbeatable location, wide range of activities, and high-quality food. A special thanks to Elena, the Spanish manager of the hotel, for her warm and friendly attitude—she really made us feel at home.

Outstanding resort. Staying in an over the water bungalow is a must in a lifetime. Beautiful and romantic place. Great service from restaurants, room cleaning, to spa/message. Sunset cruise is worth going with bonus to see dolphins . Many food options for vegetarians. The water was choppy so snorkeling was ok.
