We had a very excellent experience right from welcome, Room allocation, and then the spacious water viilas decor , cleanliness etc. The hospitality , food quality ,Taste and service is excellent. The villas were luxurious with stunning ocean views, the food was exceptional, and the staff’s warm hospitality made us feel truly special. Ok, so you're planning a Maldivian getaway and you're researching various properties. STOP, if you're reading this review, you have found the property that you want to stay at. Situated on a small atoll, 30minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport in Male, this resort offers an experience and a half. It's an all-inclusive resort however the food is al a carte, so you order whatever you want from the menu. There are some premium items which carry an additional charge. Their menu caters for everyone and has a healthy mix of various cuisines. But let's start with the welcome. A staff member greets you in arrival and leads you to the dock where the speedboat whisks you away to the island and once you reach you are greeted with a sea shell garland, a cold towel and a refreshing glass of juice. Once check in procedures are complete, you are escorted to your room. I had a premium over water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and neat and comes equipped with all the amenities that is expected from a Taj property. They even have life vests should you wish to chill and float around the lagoon. The room has total privacy and a beautiful deck with 2 sun loungers and a staircase that leads you down to the water. The bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom had bothba tub as well as a shower, with a door that leads out on to the deck so you don't have to mess up your room after a dip in the ocean. The mini bar is restocked daily 😉 There are 2 restaurants and a bar. Bokura serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The open grill serves dinner and i suggest making a reservation. The Reef bar opens from 11am to midnight and also serves lunch. The food is delicious, there wasn't a single thing that I tried, which I didn't like. Tip: don't miss the baked yoghurt at breakfast, you can thank me later. The bar is well stocked and you won't be left wanting. Some premium beverages carry an additional charge. Try the cocktails, they make some really good ones. The staff are a credit to the property. Najah, Rana, Abigail, Ibrahim, Mohammed and all the others whose names I have forgotten, made it a trip to remember. Special mention to Pawan, the Duty Manager and Chef Praveen, their care and dedication to the well-being of their guests is unbeatable. If you haven't visited yet, go. Trust me, you will find it hard to want to stay anywhere else after. I will certainly be back again!

I was incredibly excited about my much-awaited annual vacation to the Maldives and Taj Coral Reef made it all the more special and memorable from the moment we arrived. Arrival & Check-In: Our experience began with a warm welcome at the airport where we were greeted with name signage, followed by a comfortable one-hour speedboat transfer. What truly stood out was the in-villa check-in, a seamless and luxurious start to our stay. We had booked a Water Villa for 4 nights and the view of the Indian Ocean was simply breathtaking. The personalized welcome message and bed décor from Taj added a lovely, thoughtful touch. Accommodation & Service: Our villa was stocked with a well-maintained mini bar and snacks. The turn-down service was always on time and the staff made sure our villa was spotless and welcoming throughout our stay. The villa itself was spacious, beautifully designed and gave us the perfect setting to relax and soak in the calm, peaceful vibe of the Maldives. Dining: We had an incredible culinary journey across the resort's three restaurants - Bokkura, Open Grill and Reef Bar. Each offered a variety of cuisines including Indian, Asian, Local Maldivian, European, Mediterranean, Mexican and Italian. From lavish breakfast spreads to indulgent lunches and dinners, we truly ate and drank to our heart’s content. The resort offers premium alcohol options – beers, wines, whiskey and the staff were always ready with recommendations. Activities & Spa: We enjoyed snorkeling sessions, dolphin cruise and the Male city tour. I also had the pleasure of visiting the Spa, where I was treated by Dipa, who previously served at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. She was outstanding! Truly one of the best spa treatments I've ever had. A special thanks to Durlav, the Spa Manager, for being so warm and going beyond his role to help us plan our itinerary with great suggestions. Staff & Hospitality: The people at Taj Coral Reef made our stay unforgettable. A few names that stood out: Abigail, Imali, and Reehan - who greeted us daily and went above and beyond to offer the best food and drink recommendations. Abigail’s service in particular was exceptional. Zaki (Front Office) - who welcomed us with an in-room check-in and gave us a great overview of the resort and activities. Tariq (Restaurant Manager) - who frequently checked in with us during our meals and ensured we had a great experience. Mr. Nitin Walia (Resort Manager) – who personally stopped by to greet us, which was a lovely gesture and truly appreciated. Their warm and interactive approach made us feel completely at home. Every single team member we interacted with was courteous, thoughtful and professional. Final Thoughts: From the airport pickup to the in-villa service, exceptional dining, top-notch spa and warm, attentive staff, Taj Coral Reef Maldives offered us one of the finest hospitality experiences we've ever had. A perfect blend of luxury, comfort and genuine care - we left with beautiful memories and full hearts. Thank you, Taj Coral Reef, for making our vacation magical!
