My husband and I recently stayed at Taj Bentota Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the excellent hospitality and the attentive care provided by all the staff. Being pregnant, I received extra attention, and everyone went out of their way to ensure my comfort, which I deeply appreciated. A special mention to Chef Jasver Singh , who personally came to me and offered to prepare anything I liked, despite the wide variety already available in the buffet. He even prepared special dishes just for me—a truly thoughtful gesture. The food overall was delicious, with an impressive variety and live cooking stations that made each meal enjoyable. The staff’s warm behavior and attention to detail made our stay very memorable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. We had such a fantastic experience that we will definitely be returning!

A Mixed Bag of Luxury and Warmth at Taj Sri Lanka I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Taj Bentota Sri Lanka, and I must say, the experience was a mixed bag. While the rooms are in dire need of renovation (a minor setback in an otherwise grand setup), the scenic views from our room were simply breathtaking. The vistas of the Indian Ocean were awe-inspiring, and we found ourselves mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of the staff, particularly our Indian chef, Dilip. He was an absolute delight, treating us like family and going above and beyond to ensure our culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. His warmth and dedication to his craft were evident in every dish he prepared. The management's commitment to providing a luxurious experience was evident in the attention to detail and the effort they put into making our stay memorable. From the impeccable service to the stunning views, everything came together to create a truly unforgettable experience. The breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and exceptional service made our stay at the Taj Sri Lanka truly special. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway.
