I stayed at Swissôtel Al Ghurair recently, and my experience was pretty average overall — not terrible, but not great either. The location is definitely a plus; it’s right next to Al Ghurair Mall and close to the metro, so getting around Dubai was really easy. The lobby and common areas look nice, and the rooms are quite spacious and clean, which I appreciated. However, the hotel feels a bit dated in some areas, and the service was hit-or-miss. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, while others seemed distracted or uninterested. I also noticed that housekeeping wasn’t always consistent — some days everything was restocked properly, other days small things were missed. Breakfast was just okay. The food was fine, but the area got crowded and items ran out quickly without being replaced. I think they could do a better job keeping things organized during busy times. The pool and gym were decent, but nothing special. Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s a decent hotel in a good location with comfortable rooms, but the service and attention to detail need improvement. With a bit more effort and care, it could easily be a four-star experience. For now, it’s just average — good enough for a short stay, but not somewhere I’d rush back to.

Hsu has been doing an excellent job supporting the front desk. She handles tasks smoothly, communicates clearly, and stays calm even during busy times. Her attitude is positive, helpful, and reliable. Great work—please keep it up! Thank you again!!!!! BUT ice is chargeable!!!

This was our third stay at the hotel, as we have always appreciated its good location within the mall and the warmth of the staff. Unfortunately, this visit fell short of expectations and we noticed a significant drop in standards. Check-in was unpleasant. We arrived early at 2:30am, having paid in advance and arranged with the reservations team for an early check-in, but were still asked to wait until the time we had notified them, despite the room already being ready. The manager, Saber, was unhelpful and even rude to another guest waiting behind us. Room cleanliness was disappointing. The comforter had black stains, and staff admitted it was an old comforter that should not have been used. Although they apologised, this should not happen in a hotel of this standard. Breakfast service was poorly managed. At around 9:20am on the first morning, the crowd was average, yet tables were not cleared promptly and only two staff were available on the floor. There was no manager supervising the area. We only saw a manager briefly on the third morning. The fourth morning was slightly better managed, and on the last day one staff member on the floor was particularly helpful. Overall, despite this being our third stay, the service and quality have dropped noticeably. We hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the guest experience.

Dear Swissôtel Team, We had a fantastic 6-night stay at Swissôtel Living Al Ghurair with our family and kids. The location was perfect, close to shopping and attractions, and the spacious family suite was comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The service was exceptional—staff were friendly, professional, and attentive to our children's needs. The pool was a highlight for the kids, and the on-site dining options suited all ages. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning. A suggestion would be to offer more children’s activities or play areas within the hotel to enhance the family-friendly experience. Best regards, Roshan
