I stayed at Swissôtel Al Ghurair recently, and my experience was pretty average overall — not terrible, but not great either. The location is definitely a plus; it’s right next to Al Ghurair Mall and close to the metro, so getting around Dubai was really easy. The lobby and common areas look nice, and the rooms are quite spacious and clean, which I appreciated. However, the hotel feels a bit dated in some areas, and the service was hit-or-miss. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, while others seemed distracted or uninterested. I also noticed that housekeeping wasn’t always consistent — some days everything was restocked properly, other days small things were missed. Breakfast was just okay. The food was fine, but the area got crowded and items ran out quickly without being replaced. I think they could do a better job keeping things organized during busy times. The pool and gym were decent, but nothing special. Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s a decent hotel in a good location with comfortable rooms, but the service and attention to detail need improvement. With a bit more effort and care, it could easily be a four-star experience. For now, it’s just average — good enough for a short stay, but not somewhere I’d rush back to.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days and had a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is friendly. The staff are very polite and always willing to help. Breakfast isn’t fancy, but it’s good and more than sufficient. The hotel is located in an older neighborhood, which I actually liked—it shows the real side of Dubai life. It’s a bit far from the luxury malls, but overall, it’s a good hotel, not super luxurious, yet definitely worth the price and comfortable for a nice stay. I recommend it.

Liwan Restaurant exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff (Raiza, Win & Zin) were warm and accommodating. The buffet selection was impressive — everything from Middle Eastern favorites to international dishes, all cooked perfectly. The desserts were a highlight! The place is clean, well-maintained, and the overall vibe is elegant yet comfortable. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area.

Over my many visits to your hotel, I have often ordered eggs prepared in custom styles (with spice, different preparations, etc.). Every time I approached Chef Nyi Nyi, he would greet me warmly, ask precisely how I wanted the dish, and then deliver it exactly that way — even during his busiest periods. His speed, consistency, talent, and gracious attitude never fail to impress me. He consistently goes above and beyond to satisfy guests like me — and he deserves recognition for that. Equally, Ms. Raiza’s service as a waitress has been exceptional. She is fast, attentive, anticipates needs (almost like a mind reader), and always carries herself with efficiency and kindness. Her ability to serve every guest with professionalism and warmth is truly commendable. These two individuals reflect the highest standards of hospitality — not just meeting expectations, but exceeding them with genuine care and commitment. I believe their efforts deserve to be celebrated and acknowledged by your management team. Thank you for hiring and fostering such talent. Please convey my sincere gratitude to Chef Nyi Nyi and Ms. Raiza, and consider recognizing them in whatever internal recognition program you maintain. I recently stayed at Swissôtel Al Ghurair and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception. The hotel’s direct access to Al Ghurair Mall made everything super convenient. Breakfast was nice with a good variety, and the facilities like the pool and gym were excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai!
