We stayed in this hotel for one week with a small child (4). Very nice and clean rooms with a good size and balcony. Nice and friendly staff. Few free parking slots in hotel garage possible. However, when you arrive too late in the evening, all slots are taken. Paring slots are very small. Parking close by only when you’re lucky. Different pools for all ages and many deck chairs. Wasn’t too crowded at our stay (end of September). Small playground available. We had breakfast included, but for our taste the focus was rather on quantity than quality. Food looked good, but the taste was only ok. During breakfast, it was too few cleaning staff available, for which reason birds, especially pigeons, were quick to come to the table to gobble up the leftovers. The tables were often left uncleared for quite some time. Apart from that, the staff was very nice and the room cleaning was very good. Lot of party tourism in this arena. Many bars and restaurants in walking distance, thus very loud in the evening/night. Food quality of the restaurants nearby mostly average, or we were just unlucky. We missed more traditional tapas bars. Nice beach close by, perfect for small children. Don’t forget your sun umbrella! All in all a nice and modern hotel with beach close by. We prefer quieter surroundings, that’s why we’d choose another hotel next time.

I would give this hotel 4 stars as a family but since we travelled as a couple I’d recommend staying elsewhere. The rooms were nice and well cleaned. It was more hotel style than other places nearby so no oven but good, comfortable and clean. We had a cockroach the first night but deal with promptly. We were situated beside a storage cupboard so it would loud in the morning. The culture was a bit odd here. If you’re not Scandinavian it’s very unusual and you feel a bit out of place. It should really be marketed as a Scandinavian only hotel. Breakfast was so poor we stopped going near the end of our trip. Went to ask about a late checkout and was told to return before 9am on the day which defeats to whole purpose and quoted something like €75? Crazy. Given we decided to go pay a little more on this trip it didn’t really live up to our expectations. The location is amazing and so close to everything.

We stayed at the Sunwing Fanabe Beach Hotel for our recent holiday and absolutely loved it! Rooms were super spacious and clean and beds super comfy. The pool was lovely and no sunbed wars! We had breakfast included which was a bit mid but still not bad with fresh fruit and bread every day (little bit limited if you're vegetarian however). Evening entertainment host Adrianna (sorry if I'm spelling it wrong) was super lovely, personable and friendly! We would definitely come and stay at this resort again and thoroughly recommend it for couples and families.

This hotel was very well situated, not too far from the beach and lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The cleanliness and the standard of the rooms was excellent. The staff were all very helpful and really friendly. Overall it was a magnificent stay.

Sunwing Fañabe Beach is a fantastic place for families with young children. We have stayed twice, and it has a mythological status for our kids. The food is varied, tasty, and is sure to please any palate. Tons of good fruits and vegetables. I swear my beard has thickened in volume in the last visit, and I think the food quality is the reason. The food staff is also super friendly, and joked around with our kids constantly. I don't know what the host staff / entertainment is paid, but they deserve a raise regardless. They were so good at seeing the personalities of our kids, and how they could connect with them. The hotel shop has snacks, drinks and toys at pricing similar to the rest of the area. And the staff is super friendly. I havent done all-inclusive before Sunwing, and prior to having kids I prefered holidays crammed full of diving, hiking and other high pace activities. Kids have changed that, and now a good holiday is one where they are happy. Sunwing Fañabe delivers that. Scandinavians will also experience the cultural exchange. I've picked up enough Swedish vocabulary to throw off my Swedish collegue. So yeah, go if you qant to give yourself and your kids a break. You will have the Lollo and Bernie songs stuck on your head for weeks, and you will be happy about it.
