Very satisfied with our stay and would likely return. Proactive and friendly service. For example, AC and lighting were fixed before we even noticed an issue. Fast check-in/out and a nice welcome with coconut water. Rooms were clean, spacious, and quite well maintained. Big pool area with lots of activities for kids. Most staff were very friendly and always smiling. However, communication was occasionally difficult due to language barriers. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at Som’s Kitchen. We had Thai food there every day for lunch. Good quality and fairly priced. A wider wine selection would be a nice improvement, though. Breakfast was solid, though a broader exotic fruit selection would be appreciated. Great location near the night market and the beach. However, getting to Kamala center can feel a bit more complicated than expected, despite being close as the crow flies. Overall a very good stay and a strong choice for families.

We just spent a week at Sunwing Kamala and honestly have no complaints. The pool area is incredible, the service was great along with being in the perfect spot on the beach. We were also surprised by the mini mart inside the hotel the prices are actually really fair, for a hotel store. Plus, there is a 7-Eleven just a short walk away, which is super convenient for grabbing extra snacks or drinks. ​Pro tip: Head just past the green bridge from the beach to the little cluster of umbrella restaurants to your left.We went to Shop #1 and their pork ribs are a must-try! If you want luxury at an affordable price right on Kamala Beach, we’d recommend Sunwing to anyone. Thanks for a beautiful week!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Sunwing in a beautiful beachfront villa, we highly recommend anyone stay here. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast is excellent with everything you could ask for. The 8 hotel pools to choose from are all fantastic. The location can't be beaten, with the beach and beach bars right out the front. We loved our stay and will definitely return. Special thanks to Ebelyn and the team for going above and beyond to make our stay super comfortable. Thank you so much!

Stayed here in Oct 25. Overall it's a very good hotel with a nice relaxed family atmosphere located right on the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Room:- we upgraded to a swim up room at time of booking. The room was on the corner of the block and right next to where anyone could access the pool. This was not an issue for us. The room was a good size, had a great size bathroom, full size fridge, free key safe, microwave, toaster, and kettle. There was drinking water provided daily and a welcome package of fruit, drinks and snacks provided on the first day. However there were a few issues. The doors to the sunbed area did not close properly and there was quite a gap at the bottom. This was reported but not fixed correctly. Worst of all the corridor was very noisy with people constantly walking by talking and laughing and cleaners going by into a staff area banging plates etc. This went on all through the night ruining our sleep regularly. The sound isolation between rooms etc is very poor. Which is why I probably would not return to this hotel. Pools:- pools were good with a few slides for kids under 8. Food:- the breakfast choices were really good, the restaurants we ate in were good also. However my wife and daughter picked up a stomach bug, its impossible to know where it came from and I dont think it would have the hotels restaurants. Service:- staff are good. Only issue we had was the 5000bhat deposit on arrival that we did not know a out until we arrived at the hotel. The hotel is cashless and everything gets charged to your room. When signing the bill there us a bit for tip making you feel that u must tip every time. The place was clean and tidy, located next to a not so busy beach. Nice hotel, however too many wee things put me off booking again.

100% magnificent will go again and again. Staff are friendly and super accommodating. Atmosphere is relaxed family friendly holiday/party vibe. Gorgeous views mountain, pool and beaches. Already saving to go back. Food is beyond magnificent and well worth the money breakfast is superb quality and lots of choices dinner at Som's is perfect sitting undercover outside next to the pool. Kids entertainment every night engaged the youngens waiting for dinner. Wish I could live there, will always have my heart as a second home.
