My partner and I loved our stay here! The location, rooms and facilities are great. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. There’s a lot of families staying here and a lot of activities to do for children, but it’s still a very peaceful hotel. Also the sunsets are beautiful! Will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunning Hotel, and I highly recommend it—especially for families. Traveling with teens, having a spacious two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms made all the difference. It gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time without feeling cramped. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, with plenty of loungers and shaded spots to unwind. The grounds are beautifully maintained, adding to the overall peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Food-wise, the breakfast selection is fantastic, offering a wide variety to suit all tastes. The coffee, however, could use an upgrade, but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise excellent dining experience.

We found Sunwing Bangtao beach to be a great location. As an affordable family base in Phuket, you can't go wrong here. The room we had was large enough for our family of three to be comfortable. We had pool access from our room. There are 4 different pools to choose from, depending on how you feel, and the beach is right there, too. If you get a package with included breakfast you won't be disappointed. Each morning they have a local dish special as well as all the normal choices you'd expect. There are 2 massage decks near the beach, so there is no excuse not to unwind. It’s in the zone, where you are in the pick-up zone for most tours and activities. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Great resort with very nice workers. We liked the atmosphere and location. You can Grab to phuket and patong for 5€ one way but have a lot more peace on the calm beaches here and a 10/10 sunset. Only point of improvement is breakfast/restaurant. We went to sugar cane restaurant right across from it the resort.

We visited as a family of four with two young children. Sunwing hotels are excellent for kids, this hotel is no exception. 5 pools of varying sizes and depths, slide, direct access to the beach, safe and clean. The staff are very polite. The kids club is the same as everywhere. Perfect for Scandinavian families, but also great for English speakers. Many fun activities and a great way to take a break from the sun. The rooms are big and smartly furnished. You can easily fit two older children on the sofa (no spare bed required). The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator (bigger than the usual minibar), a water kettle, and a microwave; making it easy to prepare kids food or small snacks in your room. We had an issue with our room which was technically not the hotels fault, but they switched us to another room straight away taking our concerns very seriously but with a positive attitude. We really enjoyed our stay!
