The hotel is located in front of the US Embassy and nearby government offices in Pnohm Penh. Rooms are tastefully decorated, even though it may be dated. The staff are kind and they accommodated our request for a breakfast box . The buffet breakfast is great. Overall, I highly recommend Sunway Hôtel if you're visiting Phnom Penh.

My stay at the Sunway Hotel was absolutely delightful. Every aspect was flawless. The rooms were immaculate, offering stunning city views. Its location is ideal, within walking distance of the US embassy and Wat Phnom, and just a short drive from other central attractions(5-10mins). The staff at reception were exceptionally courteous and helpful. Last but not least, the breakfast is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Sunway Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Can't go wrong with picking this spot.

Overall, great stay and good staff. Well maintained rooms. In a prime location. Easy access to mall and shopping areas. The hotel is not a 5 star rated. However rooms and services were good and valued for money. You have interesting things to do and walk around to. The USA embassy is right infront and some government offices. Sonsafe to walk around for sure.

Room was clean, AC worked reasonably well but I did request a standing fan to supplement the AC. Noise insulation was decent but I could hear some voices and doors from the hallway- I slept fine with earplugs and white noise and I’m generally a light sleeper. The gym was pretty well equipped although quite hot. Convenient location, $1 tuktuk to most of the big PP attractions. Quick tip on the AC, you have to adjust the temp on the panel near the bed and then press the button with a fan on it to confirm the temp you chose. Ask the front desk if that explanation didn’t make sense to you
