My 2nd solo stay was amazing. I was treated like a queen by all staff. The views and proximity to the beautiful 7 mile beach were literally steps away. Rohan, Pops, Mr R,, security, lovely breakfast severs, front desk personnel, groundskeeper, and housekeepers went above and beyond to make me feel safe and well cared for. Chris is the best chauffeur in Jamaica, in my humble opinion. I will be back again. Oh...and the omelets and banana pancakes are incredible.

We are very well-traveled and can accept some issues regarding our accommodations. However, this stay was a horror show. On a return trip to this “resort” we were so disappointed that the hotel environment (the property itself) was is in significant disrepair and neglect. We spent the first 3 days of our stay in the reception area, on the phone or in discussions with management (when they could be found) trying to have the air conditioning repaired. The staff seemed despondent and their work environment oppressive. The hotel lost a good chef and now the food itself was tasteless and, at times inedible. The food service was extremely slow. The rooms were in disrepair and the pool was consistently dirty. After several discussions with the owner, Ms Chen and the elusive Mr. Robinson (who was consistently either “not in his office or was at lunch) no alternative room or compromise on the bill was offered. Based upon her words and behavior, Ms. Chen apparently thinks customer service is a thing of the past and was extremely curt and rude. We checked out early and found a nice hotel and escaped a miserable situation. Unless you enjoy disrepair and bad management, go anywhere else.

NOT LUXURY but has the potential to be with better care and management. First, the location is awesome, sits right on the walkable beach near shops, food, bars, music, etc. On the 2nd day of our 5 day stay, a strong storm came through and pushed piles and piles and piles of seaweed all along the coast, making it impossible to get in the water at all or enjoy the beach. THE PROBLEM WAS neither the hotel's pool nor jacuzzi were clean or operational, so we could not use them!!!! (We sat watching guests next door at the COCO PALMS RESORT enjoy their pool and having a blast). The nice cabanas in the website pics were dirty and gross. Basically, all the pics on their website over represented the place. I was really disappointed that they made NO effort to clean up the amenities that they advertised so that guests could have a decent time and AT LEAST get what we paid for. The "free" breakfast was hardly worth the trouble of sitting down for, better to go to a nearby restaurant and pay. The food I ordered from Bongos on the first night (jamaican pasta) was delicious, but the entire menu is too overpriced. On a good note, the Bongos staff are hard workers and super nice. But overall, I feel ripped off! Basically paid $1200 for a place to lay our heads and shower but nothing more. This is nothing against the staff at the resort. Most were very professional. But NO, I would never book here again, nor would I advise you to either. Trust me, you can do better. Also forgot to add that one evening we did not have hot water and the electricity would flicker and briefly cut off a few times during our stay. Overall, Jamaica was as beautiful as always, and the people are such a pleasure to connect with ❤️.

Located directly on the world famous "Seven Miles Beach" this charming small boutique hotel is a perfect get away... What could be cooler than watching the Super Bowl on a big screen on the beach, with jerked chicken and cool drink in hand!!!

So this was our third time staying here and all I can say is we will never come back. The place has certainly went down hill and the showers are so dirty you are better off using the ocean!! The worst part is we travelled with two other couples and we paid 1000.00 more than our other friends that had the same room as us. We tried talking to the manager and general manager Mr Robinson and Mr wright and all they did was blow us off until our last day and only wanted to offer us an upgrade for next year!! We have never been treated so bad by and hotel. I would not recommend this place at all and even the front desk people agreed with us and felt bad as the way they treated us!!

We picked this place because of the good reviews. Reviews were not accurate. We are in our 3rd day of a 7 day stay and if I could relocate I would. In general a lot of the staff not all is fairly dismissive. We were supposed to have a fully stocked mini bar, there were 2 waters, 2 juices, 2 sodas and 2 beers on arrival. Day two never got restocked nor did our room get cleaned. I called at 5:30 pm someone came and changed sheets. They left a few more sodas, juices and water no beer. Never cleaned room entirely or got fresh coffee cups. The resort itself is fairly small. Food is mediocre at best. Resort is dated and needs updating. Our balcony rail pillars were rusted through in two spots. Needs fresh paint and other repairs throughout. This was not a cheap location but it was less than others. We have 5 more days will see if anything improves……to be continued but I personally would not book this place again.

We spent a four day mini-holiday at Paradise Cove to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. We had a great time! The service was top-notch and the concierge helped us book two excursions off-property. We enjoyed the pools and beaches. The food was above-average overall but the shining stars were the jerk shack and platinum. Be sure to check out the nightly concerts and spend an hour singing at the piano bar. My only minor criticism is that the room was a bit smaller and could use some freshening up. Yet, I wasn't there to spend a lot of time in the room. It was kept clean. The shower always had hot water. The bed was comfy - especially after a day in the sun! A great place!

For all the negative reviews, the customers either had unrealistic expectations or they are just high maintenance! For my wife and I, we had an excellent experience. Location was beautiful. Accommodations and amenities were a great value. The beach activities and entertainment was excellent. The food options and quality were great. Most of all, the entire staff were friendly, happy, and helpful! Notably, our butler Twayne…went out of his way to make our trip the best possible. Also, the smiling face of the omelette chef, Donique, was the best start of each day.

Jewel Paradise Cove claims to be an all-inclusive resort. However, the overall quality they provide is not consistent with being a high-class hotel. There were some great experiences with the excursion staff, omelet chefs, and spa specialists who were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the Coral Cafe buffet was my favorite restaurant. The excursions my group and I bought to see Dunn's Falls, Catamaran, and Snorkeling were enjoyable and included transportation and a meal at Margaritaville. Despite the positive experiences I did have, the rating I gave the resort is based on the overwhelmingly negative experiences I had while there. I visited this resort last week with 3 other friends, and we stayed in two different rooms. We booked as a group, but we were placed in two different buildings. Each of our rooms were on the 3rd floor and there were no elevators, so it was very painful to go up and down the stairs during our trip since two people in our group had physical ailments. We were also told that tipping was completely voluntary, however, we were pressured for tips by the bellhop even though there was no check-out assistance when we left. In both rooms, there were old blood stains on the sheets from previous use on two different days. When I reported this via phone and in person to the front desk and housekeeping, they were not concerned or surprised. I was told that my sheets would be changed by the end of the day. No one apologized for the unclean, gross sheets and they were not changed until that evening. We were not told that the rooms exterior doors were outside and not enclosed in a hallway or building or that the rooms have internal adjoining doors. We were concerned about this for security reasons, especially since we had to slam the doors so they would close and latch properly. Additionally, concierge/room service and mini refrigerator restocking (complimentary sodas and bottled water) had to be called multiple times to receive any service. We were also promised robes and slippers during our stay but they were nowhere to be found- keep that in mind when packing if you decide to visit this hotel. When ordering at the bars and restaurants, be prepared with your own large water bottle to get refills and stay hydrated in the 80+ degree heat and extreme humidity. Although bottled water is complimentary, any requests are met with reluctance or frustration. Also, If you plan to order a frozen alcoholic beverage, do so before 3 pm (the bars open at 10 am) because they run out of ingredients fairly quickly. Jamaica is a beautiful country and the people I encountered who visited the resort, participated in our excursions, and lived there were very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. I will be back to visit Jamaica but I will not stay at Paradise Jewel Resort and Spa.

This resort was fantastic. From day one we had a blast here. The staff were amazing and made the stay spectacular. Janice at the swim up bar at the emerald lagoon is wonderful and has an extension ladder challenge that everyone should try. Antonio is the life guard in the same pool and he always keeps the party going! We played so much volley ball because his energetic spirit would never let the game die. I also need to tell you about the omelette bar and this fantastic artist named Merric Adams. This dude can make an omelette. He has flair and style, throwing the contents of the pans ten feet in the air simultaneously with both hands. He made breakfast an experience. Not only was it a show, but this was hands down the single greatest omelette I have ever eaten. I don’t know if the resort management reads these, but these employees are a treasure and deserve some sort of bonus. Do not let them get away!

We just got home from our visit and we had the best time! Our shuttle driver was AMAZING and really made our trip so much more enjoyable, right from the time our plane landed! The staff is so welcoming and helpful and answered all of my questions, including "what kind of fruit is this?" The concierges are the BEST! The food was DELICIOUS and the spirits flowed morning through night! The rooms were the COOLEST! Private, spacious, and nestled in a tropical garden of peace and tranquility! Everything was clean and modern and comfortable! And the private beach??? PERFECTION!! We will be back again and again!

My wife and I just had our honeymoon, 2yr wedding anniversary and her birthday (no numbers required :)) all wrapped into one vacation and Sunset at the Palms was just what we needed. We enjoyed our drivers each way to/from Montego Bay and every single staff experience and each and every meal. The room, secluded. The beach, secluded. If you are a party animal, don't come here. If you want to enjoy the person you are traveling with, definitely come here.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Sunset at the Palms. The staff were incredibly attentive and anticipated our every need. The food was a perfect mix of traditional Jamaican dishes and favorites from around the world. The excursions offered some great chances to get off the resort for an adventure day. The YS Falls/Black River Tour, snorkeling, and catamaran to Rick's were all well worth the price. The property itself is a beautiful garden setting with a variety of flora and fauna to enjoy. It was a truly incredible tropical vacation, and we hope to go back someday.

Old… Bed bugs (I was covered in bites), Lizards inside the apartment (we had 3 of them), lunch very limited and same every day . Some of the staff were excellent like Jason and Cornelius but mainly rude and distant, just don’t care vibe . Beach bar was the worst with service . The only thing worth it and the best one is the BEACH and water that is so beautiful. But, would I come again ? Not a chance .

One of the best vacation experiences we've ever had. This was our 4 year anniversary and it could not have been more perfect! The rooms were nice, the beach was exceptional and the staff made the trip all the more pleasant. Nadine was one of the 1st of the lovely staff that we actually had the pleasure to interact with over the week, we can't say enough great things about her. There is plenty of options for food, you will NOT go hungry here. Each night was a different theme. We made reservations to the Chefs Showcase and an intimate private dinner where Patrice was our waitress and she even sang to us! If you want somewhere intimate, low key, with lots of staff attention, this is the place to go! We can now call Sunset at the Palms our new home away with some new amazing friends and family!

The staff was all, and I mean everyone was extremely extremely helpful, pleasant, and would go out of their way to help you with anything at all, that you could possibly want! The views were breathtaking. The atmosphere was very uplifting and makes you just feel free, and every guest is smiling and nice to you. They’re literally wasn’t one guest that I smiled to you and said good morning, that didn’t smile and say good morning back! Like everybody is just happy there!

Was my first visit, and I was there on a day pass. Property looks run down, and renovation seems to be taking place on some of the rooms. Way too many random looking men along the beach, with one or two of them offering contraband for sale. The beach is lovely, that was the high point for me. May go back another time to see if my opinion will change.

I had an INCREDIBLE time at Hedonism this past January. I was with an amazing group of curious, friendly and open people. The staff at Hedo are superb - so helpful, professional and friendly. I was impressed with the buffet and restaurants - so many options for good food. The grounds are gorgeous with old trees and a beautiful sea view. The beds were comfortable, shower pressure good, no issues with AC, spacious and have sexy features like mirror over the bed.

I enjoyed my stays here, the staff was very friendly and checked on us along the corridors, in the hall etc. the night entertainment was really nice and the hotel is beautiful. There are many pools and beds outside to quickly rest. The nude beach has a bar and eating area and is very non judgmental. I will be visiting again

Used to love this property, before they only allowed 2 people per room. It's a family resort! Whose ever heard of reserving a room solely for 1 child, 8 years old??? Or yet what if he were 2 or 3??? . Also the rooms used to be more comfortable, offering a couch in the sitting room, not 2 chairs. Very unhappy, will be giving my business to better true family resorts with more comfort for your buck.

Also want to extend a big thank you to all the workers especially the dining room servers for being so polite and hardworking. My husband and I spent just a few days there and we had a great time. There are a few things that we weren’t pleased about but overall we had a wonderful and time.

Visited with my family summer 2023. Had a great time. Restaurants are amazing. Staff very helpful n kind. Got a mani pedi at the spa. Felt so good. Excellent spa staff. Very attentive. Beautiful property. Enjoyed the piano bar. Pools are beautiful. Will definitely recommend n go back again.

I am a frequent visitor to Jamaica; this was my first time at Jewel Paradise Cove. The grounds are well manicured, the rooms APPEARS to be clean. You have several restaurant choices, the spa is GREAT!! It has the potential to be a five or four star resort for all practical purposes. Unfortunately, things are not always how they appear. Until I switched rooms for three nights I was getting bitten by "something" while sleeping. The manager stated an investigation was completed and nothing was found. After switching rooms I did not wake up with 3-4 bites in a pattern on various parts of my body. I submitted paperwork from the local clinic & the resort still denied an infestation in the room. The website advertises a discount on certain immedities if you book directly with the hotel. After utilizing the services and receiving the bill the discount was not applied. When I mentioned the discrepancy an inclusion was mentioned and was attempted to be used to deny me the discount. Also, Services are advertised that Jewels Runaway Bay no longer provides. If you book an ocean view room make sure you ask for a room with a minimum obstructed view as possible or you will be looking at trees. The dessert is GREAT! The taste & variety. The food at the buffet was always luke-warm & they don't have a microwave. You can order some items off the grill, but the line is always extremely long for those items. The pools are great. If it was not for getting bit by bug while I was sleeping, false advertising, not honoring promotions, and luke-warm food my stay was great. The majority of the staff was SUPER!! I would not stay at Jewel Paradise Cove again. I cannot recommend it due to the health concerns.

Just got back from a fantastic trip. The resort is small enough that you can find your way around easily, but large enough that you have variety. First there is Janice, the best bartender I have ever met, make sure you tell her I say “hello” and try her ladder of drinks, also encourage her to make a ladder with shots (someone give this lady a raise or another day off). Then there is the entertainment staff, I am so sorry but I’m terrible with names, you know who you are. What a good looking fun bunch you are, had so much fun with you all. I will agree that the rooms need a little work, most of the bathroom doors don’t shut, but the staff make up for the facility, I can’t say enough great things about them. If you ever need a cab anywhere ask Shaneka (restaurant manager) for Cole, he is the kindest man you will ever meet. Thank staff for such an awesome vacation. xoxo
