Great Friends’ Getaway — Amazing Staff & Activities We recently spent a week at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort with a group of friends, and overall we were very impressed with the experience. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent throughout our stay. There was a great variety of restaurants, so we never got bored and always had something new to try. Big thumbs up on the dining experience 👏 A special shoutout to Rubi — she truly made our trip memorable. From day one, she looked after us and kept our group fully engaged with activities like pickleball, beach volleyball, and surfing. She built a fantastic rapport with us and kept the energy high the entire week. Staff like her make a real difference — highly appreciated! ⭐ Our room was clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning, which was impressive. However, one downside was that we had paid for a sea-facing room but were given only a partial sea view, which was a bit disappointing. For activities: ✅ Pickleball court available (rackets and balls can be borrowed free — great touch) ✅ Surfing is good for beginners and fun to try ✅ Nice kids’ pool area with water activities for families ⚠️ Golf is available but comes at an additional cost and is quite expensive Overall: A very enjoyable stay with great food, strong entertainment, and excellent staff — especially Rubi. Fix the room view allocation and golf pricing, and this place would easily be 5 stars. Would definitely recommend for friends’ getaways and active holidays.

Highly recommend. It's a kids friendly resort but we were a couple and still loved it. Everything from the food, the service and the cleanliness was top notch. We had an issue with the weather being too windy, our door wasn't sealed well. We didn't sleep well the first night but they fixed the issue on priority and also followed up a couple of times to ensure it was fixed. Being vegetarians, we had plenty of food options and each one of their restaurants are very good. Coco cafe was our favorite!

This was my fourth time in Cancún and by far the most amazing hotel I’ve stayed in yet! While you can see the hotel zone in the distance across the water, Dreams Vista feels just far enough away from the vaivén of it and is nestled amidst more residential condos and homes. It honestly didn’t feel like I was even in Cancún because of how tranquil it was. From the time my fiancé and I arrived, we were blown away with how inviting all of the staff members were and how impeccably clean the resort was. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. All of the food had incredible presentation and was truly delicious. I say with confidence that you can likely order anything here and not be disappointed because the chefs are so talented. Even though this is a family-friendly resort, at no point did it feel like it wasn’t adults-only which was surprising given how close the children’s water park is to the main pool. There was ample seating around the main pool all hours of the day and it was refreshing that no one was reserving lounge chairs at 7am if at all. The beach was indeed small but also perfect and there was no seaweed whatsoever. Okay, let’s talk about the Preferred Club and the rooftop pool and restaurants… simply amazing and soooo boujie! For the nominal upcharge, this is a no-brainer for the added experience and value. I also have to note how the robes and shower were hands down the most incredible I’ve ever experienced. If you’re on the fence about this, do not be. It’s truly an unmatched experience of ultimate 5 star luxury and we can’t wait to return!

We had a great 4 day stay. Service was great. Plenty of food and drink options. Location is convenient for transport into the city as well as the Isla Mujeres Ferry which is in walking distance if you choose. Vista taco bar was our favorite spot for lunch. Expect to be pitched their vacation club while there; we politely declined and they didn't persist. Plenty of available poolside seating while we were here. Activities are scheduled through the day and evening, but we didn't really participate although we did watch one of the evening shows. We spent one afternoon at Playa Norte beach on Isla Mujeres which was beautiful; the beach on property was small and the water was cloudy from sand and seaweed, so we didn't swim there.

This hotel is nothing close to a 5 star hotel. - The food is ok. Wherever you go in the hotel. It's always underwhelming. The room service is below average, If not bad. The buffet... is a disaster for a 5 star hotel.. - BARELY any snacks/drinks in the room : only 1 small tequila a day (no other alcohol) + 1 mini chips + 1 m&m. That's it. The cheapest room snacks I've seen in a 5 star all inclusive. - The preferred upgrade is a scam. We were a big group and we all checked in at different times as couples. Each couple got a different price for the upgrade.. -We upgraded in order to access the rooftop pool. Rooftop pool gets crowded quickly. with limited available tanning chairs. The worst part is that the only beds available (beds that fit 2 people) were available only for an extra fee. why pay to be Preferred just to be asked to pay MORE EXTRAS ?? - The entire resort is a wind tunnel. Blasting winds the entire time. We were there in march, which is known to be windy. However, we left the hotel every day and noticed that it was not like that a few blocks away. - You have to reserve a place to eat at the restaurants. Good luck finding a reservation at the time you would like. - Coffee shop was ok. Decent coffee. But why put all the pastries out and let them dry out in the air ?? - Beach seating was very limited. - On a positive note, I have to say thatThe staff is nice and friendly FOR THE PRICE, YOU CAN GET MUCH MUCH BETTER. THERE'S A LOT TO WORK ON FOR THEM TO BE CONSIDERED 5 STAR.
