Really enjoyed this hotel. Dreams as a brand does tend to be pretty reliable. The stand out features here are that every room has an amazing sea view. Its a relatively new build and everything is still very clean and new. The splash pool was still big enough to keep our 9 and 7 year olds entertained, and the Wave rider kept me entertained. Food and drink were very good although the Dreams hotels of old I remember there being more premium options in the restaurants (each of the themed restaurants used to have steak for example). A few economies being found i think with the menus. We had a preferred club room which we wouldn't usually pay extra for but the deal we got it happened to be pretty much the same price. I would definitely say that in this case the upgrade should be considered. The preferred lounge is up on the 9th floor with great views, and you get access to the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. Vista Prime had very good fillet steak. We were able to book every restaurant we wanted for the times we wanted - no problems at all and there was also a walk in option. As always with these hotels the staff make the place. They are well trained and there was no hint of the dip in service standards that happened after some hospitality expertise was lost during covid. Room cleaning was spot on absolutely every time. It may interest some people that there is minimal beach at this hotel compared to those in the Hotel Zone. It is a lovely quiet spot for a relaxing holiday. The only thing that could be improved - maybe hand out head headphones to all guests as they arrive and remind them that other people don't want to hear their music or insta reels. The drop in human social standards that came alongside covid has still not recovered.

I can say we had a great vacation in this hotel. The service was impeccable. It is very close to downtown Cancun but right on the beach. It is quiet and peaceful but there are activities available if you want them. The only thing was the size of the beach front. It was a little small so if the hotel is at close to full it may get crowded. This was not the case during our stay, So we always had beach chairs and pool chairs available when we wanted. Food was excellent although we mostly ate at the restaurants. Unlike some of the other places we have been to, the restaurant food and the buffet food were different so you have a different experience both in taste and ambience which made it better.

I had my wedding here in September 2024 and it was the BEST decision we made! From start to finish, the service was excellent and everything ran so smoothly. The venue itself was beautiful, and the entire day felt absolutely perfect. We worked with Ariadna, and she was incredible, attentive, organized, and so creative. She truly made our vision come alive and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was exactly how we imagined. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. I cannot recommend this venue and team enough for anyone planning their special day!

I had some expectations about this hotel, We visited the hotel as club members, and the service wasn't what we expected, especially since we're not foreigners. Waiters kept talking to each other, saying that if we speak Spanish, they'd keep us waiting. What a ridiculous situation and terrible service. Disappointing, since the facilities aren't bad, the hotel is nice, and the food is delicious. But the service to locals leaves much to be desired. I don't think I'll visit this hotel again 😒 Oh, and by the way, access for people with disabilities is nonexistent. There are no ramps or anything to help with that, especially access to the pools and beach. I couldn't visit with my entire family, as it would be very uncomfortable

The resort itself is beautiful, and the staff are highly professional. Service throughout the property is excellent, and the employees are incredibly kind—especially considering how much they deal with day to day. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job keeping everything clean and well-maintained. I love how if you need some quiet time you can hit the beach and if you feel like partying the pool is the place to be. As for night life, because its a family friendly resort i would say there isnt much to do at night if you are a party animal. The entertainment and dance shows are fun to watch though. One standout feature is the gym—it’s one of the largest and nicest I’ve seen at any resort. We attended a wedding and it was stunning. However, the food is a major downside. It’s far from authentic Mexican cuisine, often bland, and in some cases might even upset your stomach. That said, I understand they’re preparing meals in massive quantities, which likely affects quality. Personally, I’d recommend going off-resort for meals if you’re looking for a better culinary experience. The resort is very family-friendly and, overall, a solid choice for those traveling with kids.
