For a luxury hotel, there sure were some misses. 1. After 4:30p the restaurants are pretty much reservations so long wait time if you miss booking a reservation in a timely manner. 2. The pool was cold the entire time, i sayed for 3 days and didn’t go in once. If you book preferred, there is a heated roof top pool. The concept of paying for luxy and having to pay MORE just to get the basics of any other resort is insane to me. Also preferred has a separate section on the beach so for regular members, you get one small little section of beach, again INSANE. 3. The food was pretty good, best ive had on an all inclusive but i did get sick the last day i was there. I spent a majority of my flight back in the bathroom. Another member of our group also good food poisoning 2 days prior so what are the ods. 4. The massive glass door to the bathroom completely came off the hinges and in full panick i had to somehow get in leaned on a wall so it wouldn’t shatter in the bathroom. Maintenance came very quickly and were able to fix it at 1am so that was great! Overall the customer service was amazing and all the waiters were SO KIND and honestly the saving grace for the review. As far as the luxury experience, very lack luster. Ive had more luxury at RIU hotels at a cheaper rate. I unfortunately dont see myself coming back here. Again i would like to reiterate that the hospitality was amazing.

Means hospital has a great experience. We really enjoyed how everything was easy to get to since the hotel is set up in a very organized manner. The pool was cleaned daily, surfers around the pool came around often, and we were able to get a pool chair everyday. The core zone was really good for our kids. And the explore club staff did a great job. All the restaurants had good food. We just need to make sure to make a reservation with the Hyatt app, because they would get very busy around 7:00 pm. Rooms were cleaned well everyday and it gave us lots of towels so we never ran out. We enjoyed the activities Zeus put on and our kids enjoyed the Wave Rider and the splash park. It was fun to play volleyball on the days when it was not too windy. It's too bad you can't order nice weather when you book a hotel lol. The only downside of the trip, why we didn't give it five stars, just because the beach has rough sand. (Sargasm wasn't an issue, They have a net around the swimming area that catches a lot of the sargasm and the workers rake the beach every morning.)

Currently checked in (stay through Nov 19, 2025). We previously stayed at Dreams Vista two years ago and had a wonderful experience, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this trip has been the complete opposite of what we expected. Throughout our stay, multiple private events have taken over common areas that guests have paid to use. Yesterday the entire beach bar was closed; today it was the veranda. These are key amenities, and losing access to them for full days has negatively affected our experience. We also had dinner reserved at the Italian restaurant tonight, but when we arrived it was unexpectedly closed. The concierge rebooked us, but only into the same restaurant we already have reserved for tomorrow. The interaction left us feeling like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. At the sports bar, only one of the many TVs was turned on, and staff said they couldn’t turn on another for us to watch a different game. There was also no bar service available. To make matters worse, last night around 1 a.m., a very intoxicated guest was repeatedly trying—and failing—to get into the room next door. He was shouting, swearing, and attempting to call Unlimited Vacation Club for assistance. The noise woke my entire family, and they were understandably worried. When things went quiet, I checked the hallway and found him passed out outside his door. I called for assistance, and he was eventually helped into his room safely. Still, the paper-thin walls and lack of soundproofing make it impossible not to hear everything from neighboring rooms — TV, conversations, phone calls. This has been the worst family vacation we’ve had. Unless Dreams Vista and Unlimited Vacation Club meaningfully improve the experience before we check out, we will not be returning, nor can I recommend this property to others at this time. I will provide an update on the 19th upon checkout. I sincerely hope things improve before then.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Dreams as a brand does tend to be pretty reliable. The stand out features here are that every room has an amazing sea view. Its a relatively new build and everything is still very clean and new. The splash pool was still big enough to keep our 9 and 7 year olds entertained, and the Wave rider kept me entertained. Food and drink were very good although the Dreams hotels of old I remember there being more premium options in the restaurants (each of the themed restaurants used to have steak for example). A few economies being found i think with the menus. We had a preferred club room which we wouldn't usually pay extra for but the deal we got it happened to be pretty much the same price. I would definitely say that in this case the upgrade should be considered. The preferred lounge is up on the 9th floor with great views, and you get access to the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. Vista Prime had very good fillet steak. We were able to book every restaurant we wanted for the times we wanted - no problems at all and there was also a walk in option. As always with these hotels the staff make the place. They are well trained and there was no hint of the dip in service standards that happened after some hospitality expertise was lost during covid. Room cleaning was spot on absolutely every time. It may interest some people that there is minimal beach at this hotel compared to those in the Hotel Zone. It is a lovely quiet spot for a relaxing holiday. The only thing that could be improved - maybe hand out head headphones to all guests as they arrive and remind them that other people don't want to hear their music or insta reels. The drop in human social standards that came alongside covid has still not recovered.

I can say we had a great vacation in this hotel. The service was impeccable. It is very close to downtown Cancun but right on the beach. It is quiet and peaceful but there are activities available if you want them. The only thing was the size of the beach front. It was a little small so if the hotel is at close to full it may get crowded. This was not the case during our stay, So we always had beach chairs and pool chairs available when we wanted. Food was excellent although we mostly ate at the restaurants. Unlike some of the other places we have been to, the restaurant food and the buffet food were different so you have a different experience both in taste and ambience which made it better.
