Beautiful resort. The gardens, beach and pool area are well maintained and spotlessly clean. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. The staff are all very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Always greeted with a smile. The buffet was plentiful and catered for many nationalities. Good quality food and well presented in attractive displays. The air conditioned room was large and spacious and very clean. Great shower with shower gels, shampoo and conditioners supplied. The room also had a fridge and tea/ coffee facilities. Daily entertainment for all ages and a variety of evening entertainment and shows. I would highly recommend this resort and would definitely return again. Enjoyed a relaxing week in the sun

My partner and I stayed in a junior suite with our 14year old daughter. X2 balconys overlooking the sea! The rooms are clean as is the hotel! The only negative thing i can say is that the furniture around the hotel/rooms needs updating due to a lot of wear & tear. The A la carte restaurants is not that great food wise. They are understaffed in both the restaurants. The main restaurant was fantastic! There was not a massive variety of food but a decent amount. All the food we had was tasty. The staff in the restaurant were professional, polite and extremely helpful!! Ali the restaurant manager was amazing at making us feel so welcome. The bars at the pool and sea front were great! The managers at both the bars were helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble! The heated swimming pool is an amazing feature!!!! Although the weather is hot the wind can make it cool. The animation team were amazing! They were fun energetic & enthusiastic! Creating fun activities daily and evening entertainment fun!! Every Tuesday they do something big and we experienced a carnival with fun activities, food, sweets and drinks etc a big live show and transport was provided (as we went to a different hotel with a big arena) this is still part of your all inclusive package. Cocktails were lovely... a lot of effort was made with taste & presentation. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose this hotel again and it's all the staff that make our stay so memorable. Thank you to all staff including gardeners and cleaners at Sunrise Alma Bay. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this fabulous resort. Rooms are big and airy. The beach is private and the water is shallow. Plenty of activities during the day if you want to participate . Food is varied and there’s plenty of choice. It was an excellent winter break.

Having stayed with the sunrise group for the past 25 years, we decided last November to try this new hotel. We loved the hotel. perfect location, the beach is beautiful, the rooms are among the best I've stayed in. However it's the staff, from reception to gardeners with the room cleaners and bar staff second to none simply amazing 👏 The only thing that let the hotel down was the food repetitive, luke warm and not very appetising, the ala carts were very hit and miss. However we visited again 16th March for a week as we loved the hotel that much, everything was as expected. Our room was beautiful, Ebrahim our room cleaner was excellent, room was spotless and he left me towel art every day which was lovely. Mahmoud the beach and pool supervisor remembered us and nothing was to much trouble. The food has improved, still repetitive, however the limited space in the restaurant does not help matters, breakfast and lunch are perfect, trying to please all nationalities in the evening is very challenging, having improved a lot from November Italian and Asian restaurant were still hit and miss. The pizza bar at the aqua slides is amazing food and service is fabulous. We've booked for June and look forward very much to our stay with you Kind Regards Christine Clegg

The hotel itself was immaculate. Pool staff and life guards great. However, manyof the other staff were rude and dismissive. Clearly working for tips. Which we give at the end of the holiday to recognise excellence, not beforehand to attain it. The Restaurant was poorly managed and Basics ran out constantly. The animation team solicited false 5 star reviews from guests taking their phones, wholly unacceptable. Reception staff were rude. After everything we had been through, (and reported to the manager), we were told off for checking out 10 minutes late! The Hotel Manager was very good and listened with empathy and understanding. Certainly work to be done in this hotel .
