This is a nice property overall, but our experience didn’t reflect what we paid for. We booked the highest-priced room with a beach view, expecting a full resort-style experience. Instead, the unit felt much more like an Airbnb apartment located almost two blocks away from the main hotel and amenities. While we technically had access, the distance made it feel disconnected from the hotel itself. For the price we paid (comparable to a five-star hotel), the offerings were quite basic. Breakfast was not included, housekeeping was limited (every three days), and the pool next to our building was under construction, despite being told on the phone that the property was fully renovated. We also went to the front desk to ask about the room assignment and whether there was a price difference compared to rooms closer to the fully renovated main area. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing, as the staff member assisting us walked away mid-conversation. Additionally, during the night, a fire alarm in the unit began beeping and woke us up. We later realized it was due to the batteries, but it did not seem to have been checked prior to our arrival. This is not a bad place, and if you’re staying closer to the main amenities, the experience is likely better. However, what is offered does not accurately reflect the price being charged, especially for the premium rooms. With clearer communication, better quality control, and pricing that better matches the level of services and amenities, expectations would be much better aligned.

The location is fantastic. The entire area is very well-maintained and clean. The pool is heated, and the pool bar makes great cocktails. Unfortunately, the room smelled a bit musty, and we had to air it out frequently. These are apartments managed by the lobby, not a hotel! We always had to make a short trip to the reception desk. Communication via WhatsApp would simplify things for guests without a US phone number. We had to manage a lot by ourself. Captain's Catch, the lobby restaurant, wasn't very cozy. However, Shima's was amazing and a wonderful experience.

Had a nice stay here but I booked a 1 bedroom and was put in a studio style room with a partial ocean view, asked to have the manager call me but they never returned my call? The pool is nicely heated with a little water slide for the kids. Staff here very friendly! Free umbrellas and chairs, bicycles too

It said open to the public, we called ahead to make sure, taked to the front desk, they directed us to the pool restaurant. .. once we arrived at the pool restaurant...the staff was very rude,, they definitely didn't want us there as we didn't have a wrist band. Reluctantly sat us at a empty table and told us all we couldn't do... cant be by the pool, cant go to the beach. I was like.. gezzzz, nice welcome to you restaurant. We ordered food and several times, it seemed like a group of managers would look and point at us as we were eating.... I heard one say, its fine. Very uncomfortable feeling.. like we were criminals. We ordered about $180 in bad food.. so I dont know why they were so pissed we were there? Bread was hard, they ran out of hamburgers and fries so my 4 kids were very disappointed. The food we got was really bad.. Very disappointing for a $180. We stopped at the beach before we left and we're told to leave as this was a private beach and non wrist band guests were not allowed. The resort should not have told us the restaurant was open to the public to start and we would have never gone there... Very bad place to visit and we would never return. Very rude staff.. We vacation Alot! And we're looking for places to stay in the future for my family of 7.. 😔

Recently stayed at Sundial Beach Resort with the family, and it was fantastic! The beautiful beachfront location offered stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, while the staff was friendly and attentive. The dining options were delicious, and the amenities, including the pool and water sports, kept us entertained. Overall, Sundial is a perfect getaway spot, and we can’t wait to return!
