It’s what you’d expect from a 3 star hotel; the bare minimum. The AC was temperamental and the balcony door was always getting jammed. Asked downstairs for a knife and fork to eat leftovers and they tried to charge me. Pool area is okay but all in all, if you can stay somewhere else nearby I would recommend that over this place. The best thing about this place is its proximity to actually nice places e.g. beaches/ beach clubs and restaurants

Sunbay was a Great experience, the booking and scheduling was easy and swift. When we arrived the staff at the desk were pleasant and polite they gave us everything we needed. Absolutely beautiful pool area and rooms. The room we booked was pristine and very comfortable. And in this Barbadian heat the rooms were cool.
From the lunch Menu , we would recommend the Chicken Alfredo. Was delicious and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The only problem I had was the smaller portion sizes, the good part about this hotel is that the prices aren’t crippling so I was able to buy food. Overall GREAT experience I will be back this summer for a staycation with my family. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed here back in May of this year and completely exceeded my expectations. Being budget friendly definitely got my money worth. Would return soon.

An unexpected stay as I was halfway through a cruise and taken ill. The Port authority placed me here and I consider myself very lucky (all things considered!).
An exceptionally spacious room, with pool view. Verandah with a super comfy sitting hammock, and chairs & table. Loads of room for clothes. Everything clean and room serviced daily.
Not a standard buffet breakfast (for a brit) but you have the option of requesting your choice. What was on offer was well presented and tasty.
Lunch and evening meals were basic but well cooked and presented, and generally, realistically priced. The staff shared a sound knowledge of good, local restaurants if you fancied eating out.
Pool area and gardens were nicely laid out and tidy. Water was always available and accessed from the pool bar which I thought was a nice touch.
The staff were all curtious and polite and very helpful. Feeling unwell as I did on my arrival, this meant a lot.

Somewhere quick to stay this ideal. Don't if it is the time of year or the quick stay but it seemed empty. Not in love with the quality of sheets on bed. Young miss at front desk and Patrick were phenomenal.
