We visited from Maafushi (20 minute speedboat ride) with a day pass and had a beautiful time. The welcome process at reception was efficient and then we had the rest of the day to explore the island resort. The place was super relaxing and we were made to feel comfortable by all the staff. Lunch was included and there was an amazing array of choice covering a variety of cultures. Highly recommend a visit or stay.

Attentive and smiling staff that puts in the effort so you can focus on enjoying your holiday. Good food selection, also gluten free. Amazing Grand Water Villas and spotless cleaning. Different speciality restaurants. Shuttle bus that takes you around to the different places. I have nothing negative to comment on. This place is 10/10.

A day well spent. The islands are beautiful, there is a great variety of food and watersport activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Doss in particular was a very nice guy, great to chat with. Would definitely like to come back for a few nights there.

As seasoned Maldives travelers, we've stayed at various private island resorts across different seasons, setting clear expectations for our recent trip. Here's a concise review of our experience: 1) Booking Experience: 2/10 Two months before our trip, I contacted multiple Maldives private resorts, including three Sun Resorts, for pricing. All responded except this one. After reaching out via WhatsApp, I received a quote approximately $600 higher than online booking websites for the same room type and package, even after accounting for boat charges and taxes. When I questioned this, the response was, "You book from that website." Consequently, I booked through the online platform. 2) Airport & Boat Transfer: 5/10 Upon arrival, there was no representative holding a placard, so we inquired and located their stall. The boat arrived 15-20 minutes later, and the transfer proceeded smoothly. However, the boat ride cost $500 for two people round trip, which is steep compared to other resorts for Similar Distance. 3) Check-In Process: 4/10 The check-in staff didn't Knew Anything. They couldn't confirm whether our room was sunrise or sunset-facing. For every query, they had to consult someone else. Our check-in was so prolonged that we were the last from our boat waiting there. Additionally, they attempted to charge us Taxes, despite our online booking indicating all taxes were prepaid. 4) The Room: 8/10 We booked a Water Villa on Main Island. The room was spacious, featuring an outdoor bathtub and loungers. However, there were no umbrellas over the loungers, making daytime use uncomfortable. The bathroom area became unbearably hot, lacking air conditioning or fans. 5) Island Host: 0/10 Despite multiple inquiries over the first two days about our island host, we received no response. On the evening of the second day, after persistent complaints, our host visited our room but was never seen again. 6) Breakfast & Dinner: 5/10 Our package included breakfast and dinner at the Sunset Restaurant. The food was average, though the fruits were excellent. Service was subpar; feedback seemed ignored multiple times. Despite favorable weather, outdoor seating during breakfast was prohibited. Notably, there was no juice section at dinner, not even Canned Juices, the Money we Paid for the Dinner in Package didn't Justify the Buffet dinner. DISAPPOINTED. 7) Bars and Pools: Dhoni Bar: 10/10 The staff, including Manager AKASH, the girl over there and his team, were exceptional—helpful, attentive, and receptive to feedback and made our disasterous trip much better, HUGE THANKS TO AKASH AND THEM ALL. Pizza Hut Bar Pool: 4/10 This Paticular pool was excessively noisy, and at $25-28 per pizza, it wasn't worth having it with all that noise. Other Bars: 6.5/10 The Romance Island Bar was pleasant, with helpful staff like Prakash, though the manager there was not at all Helpful. 8) Birthday Cake & Wine: 2/10 We were told that between 3 to 5 it will be placed inside the room. We reached our room around 6.40 they were not there, After Reminding Once again on phone, they arrived an hour late, it was too dark to Click Pics Videos and couldn't enjoy them properly. Our island host was unhelpful throughout this process ALSO. 9) Checkout: 4/10 Our flight allowed for a 9 am boat transfer, but the resort only offered 8 am and 10 am options. We chose the 8 am boat and waited four hours at the airport. Additionally, they added an optional donation to our bill without prior consent, which felt deceptive. Overall Experience: Given that we Paid the high peak season prices in January, we were disappointed with the service quality. The resort's focus seemed to be too much on revenue generation rather than guest satisfaction. In summary, while the Maldives offers stunning natural beauty, this particular resort did not meet our expectations.
