We had an absolutely amazing stay at Sun Siyam Iru Veli — everything from the breathtaking views and beautiful villa to the warm hospitality made this trip truly unforgettable. The island is pure paradise, and the service throughout the resort was consistently exceptional. A very special thank you to Shaff, our ambassador/butler, who went above and beyond to make sure every moment of our stay was perfect. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always available to help with anything we needed — she truly made us feel cared for and welcome. We also want to give a huge thank you to Ambika and Das at the spa for their terrific massages. Their professionalism and skill were outstanding, and the spa experience was one of the highlights of our trip — deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Huge shoutout to Ranjith at the chemistry bar. Full of life and personality, amazing service and great to talk to. And a special mention to Grouper Grill — the food was absolutely phenomenal, and the service was somehow even better. The grilled prawns were to die for, easily one of the best dishes we had during our stay. Our server Kadek was incredibly amicable and genuinely so lovely to talk to — she made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Sun Siyam Iru Veli to anyone looking for a luxury getaway with outstanding service!

Dhilshun, Mahesh and Pathmashiri for the best meals at Roma restaurant and aqua orange restaurant. Thanks to Altho for the local tour and Preeemela for the excellent house keeping. We spent our honeymoon at Iru Veli Resort and everything was absolutely perfect. The resort is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the service is outstanding. A very special thank you to Hadeel, who was extremely kind, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. She looked after us wonderfully from the moment we arrived and made sure every part of our stay was smooth, enjoyable, and truly unforgettable. Her warmth and professionalism made a real difference to our experience. We are also very grateful to Manoj, who ensured our room was perfectly cleaned twice a day and maintained to the highest standard. From start to finish, every detail was flawless. We had an unforgettable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a dream holiday in the Maldives.

We spent 1week at Sun Siyam Iru Veli. The place is amazing. Room - Villa with pool - is very spatious and the pool creates a private setting with direct access to the sea. Some of the room furnishings are a bit worn and could be replaced. Service is warm and professional. Experiences included are very interesting: dolphin cruises and snorkeling. We had an incredible experience with the whale shark adventure: the team from the diving center took us to see the whale shark and mantas, and we had an incredible snorkeling close to the reef. The trip is very well organised, participants feel very safe thanks to the staff supporting every part of the activity. Dining offer is international and fish is very good and well prepared. The presence of an Italian chef could help to improve the dining experience. Overall comment: great location with very good service; high value for money. Dining experience and rooms are opportunities for improvements to increase the offering.

Another highlight was the Chemistry Bar. The service there was simply superb, especially thanks to Chaw. With great passion, excellent expertise, and a fine sense for flavors, she turned every visit into a memorable experience. The cocktails were creative, perfectly balanced, and served with genuine enthusiasm – Chaw is a true asset to the resort. Sun Siyam Iru Veli stands for luxury without pretension, service at the highest level, and authentic Maldivian hospitality. We are leaving with unforgettable memories and will most definitely return.
