This was our last stop to finish our Maldives trip. My wife and I appreciated the staff and fell in love with calmness of the resort. You almost feel like the island is private to you. The staff is very helpful and can go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Before our arrival, I asked them to prepare something for our arrival in the water villa, and they prepared a special cake for our anniversary and made a nice decoration in the room. On our last day we asked if we could stay until the last trip to the airport (at 17h) and they gave us the room until 15h, which gave us almost an extra day at the resort. Our stay coincided with a barbecue dinner that was one of the best barbecues ever, especially the fish. Around the resort, the facilities are very nice, everything blends with the nature just to make you feel comfortable while also relaxing as you would expect from a secluded tropical island. If you want activities like movies, live music, ...etc there is a place and time for that at the resort without disturbing the rest of the island. The snorkeling around the resort is very good, you can see a lot of fish on the corals around the resort or under the water villas. The black tip sharks are also common visitors so you cna get a good look at them and even swim with them if you are lucky. The full board plan feels like an all-inclusive. If you want extra drinks, they are not very expensive. And the airport transfer makes it a very good value for money. Thank you to everyone involved and I hope we will come again soon.

A Slice of Paradise – 7 Unforgettable Days on Summer Island, Maldives From the moment we arrived at Summer Island, we were swept into a tropical dream. The beauty of this place is beyond words—turquoise waters, powdery white sands, and lush greenery made every moment feel like a postcard come to life. Our villa was spotless, cozy, and perfectly positioned with stunning views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and watching sunsets from our deck was pure magic. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, always greeting us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The food was another highlight—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the beachfront dinners under the stars, which were both romantic and delicious. There were plenty of activities to choose from—snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs, sunset cruises, and peaceful spa treatments that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. But what we loved most was simply relaxing, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the peaceful, laid-back vibe of the island. Our 7-day stay was nothing short of perfect. Summer Island is a hidden gem in the Maldives and we left with hearts full of joy and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended – 10/10!

many great reviews about the hotel, but I will still be on the side of those people who did not like this hotel. The cleaning team was good, but the restaurant staff where breakfast and dinner were just terrible. If you do not tip you will be served badly and will not even be greeted for the next few days of your vacation. It was so funny when they throw water on the table and run away. They do not offer to order something extra if you do not offer it yourself. Tip? for what? such service does not deserve a cent. dirty dishes waited for the waiter for 10 minutes The guys from the other restaurant are simply wonderful: the service and food are top notch. And the older man with glasses is incredibly rude. You cannot take food from dinner to your room but this does not apply to the food you order and pay extra for. Disappointing experience. I will not recommend it to anyone

Loved every bit of our stay! The friendly staff were incredible. They are so attentive and kind. As locals, we expect to be given less attention but we weren’t excluded majority of times. Only time we felt that was at the bar. Overall we had a great time on our first vacation as a family

I went to Summer Island in May for my 74th birthday. It was absolutely perfect. The Ambience was wonderful. No traffic, just the sound of waves on the beach. The attentive staff made me feel safe and welcome. It was lovely to walk barefoot along the beach in the warm water and to swim. The seafood platter was delicious as we're all the meals. I loved my room with the open air bathroom. The Spa was lovely. My birthday cake was really nice. Thank you too everyone at Summer Island for making my birthday special.
