This hotel is okay but not 5 star, would be a 3 star elsewhere. The complex is very clean as are the rooms. The food although plenty choice wise was regularly cold. The staff are all very mannerable and helpful. Andro Hany (main bar) is an exceptional member of their staff, this Hotel are lucky to have him as an employee, he brings a smile to your face everytine you meet him

I would like to thank you for your cooperation with us, and we will repeat this trip for the new year. I would like to thank the entire staff at Bars; they were excellent in their service, and they served some amazing, naturally colored cocktails. Their service was outstanding. I would like to thank Mr. Boutros and Mr. Ahmed Saeed, and I would like to thank Mr. Yanni for his speed in his work. I would also like to thank Andrew Hany and some of the team for their cooperation in providing excellent and fast service. And a special thanks to Andrew Hany, who was excellent in language skills and quick to respond.

The hotel was excellent, and the service was outstanding, especially in the lobby bar. The bar and its staff had a wonderful team spirit; they were always smiling. The service was quick, and they made some excellent cocktails, some of which were made by Andrew Honey in the lobby bar. Natuurlijk – hier is de Engelse vertaling: ⸻ Worst hotel experience ever in Egypt – absolutely not recommended My stay at this hotel was without a doubt the worst experience ever. From day one it was one disappointment after another. The food was terrible: the quality was poor and nothing like what you would expect from a hotel. The service was unfriendly, uninterested and often downright rude. All the tables in the restaurant wobbled, making it a risk to even set down food or drinks. Drinks were always served with just one (!) ice cube, as if they were trying to save on every possible detail. The spa, barber and foot care were a complete rip-off. We paid €150 for a treatment that was anything but professional and consisted mainly of big talk instead of real service. Even on our last day, when we simply wanted to arrange a taxi, four staff members were “helping” us, yet the communication still went wrong. On top of that, toilet paper wasn’t restocked, something you would at least expect in any hotel. In short: this was the worst experience I have ever had in Egypt. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. ⸻ If you’d like, I can make it sharper, more formal, or more concise.

⭐ 1/5 My stay at Stella Gardens Makadi Bay was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Food: Very poor quality with almost no variety. Most items were badly prepared and felt below basic hotel standards. Staff & Service: Many staff members were unfriendly, and some were downright rude. One entertainment staff member even shouted “go home, go home” at us and then sat at our table without permission, completely unacceptable behavior. Room & Facilities: Room service was disappointing. No conditioner, no body lotion, no slippers, no toothpaste, and overall very poor room supplies. Towels had visible stamps on them. The hallway to the room was dark, with many broken lamps, giving the impression of an unfinished area. The TV had no working channels at all. Misleading Online Information: Many services advertised as free, like hairdressing and most spa services, were actually not free. They also claim all four pools are heated, but only one was heated during our stay. Positives: The only good experience came from two people who actually work at Stella Beach, not Gardens: Ahmed “the pizza guy” at the beach restaurant and Fox from the animation team. They were kind, helpful, and professional. The beach water was clean and beautiful, which was the only nice part of the stay. Overall, I would not recommend Stella Gardens Makadi Bay, and I definitely wouldn’t stay there again.
