We had an excellent trip in early April. The resort is very family friendly with a huge buffet that offered something for each of our kids, along with the separate Hot dog/burger/pizza and pancake/waffle and other snacks bars that were also enjoyed. The resort is well spaced so the room blocks aren't too crowded by each other. Before arriving we thought the water slides, pools and more were further apart from each other but it's a short walk all around from your rooms. It was off peak in early April so we probably avoided a lot of crowds, and got to enjoy the beaches and pools without their being crowded. I'm not sure what peak season is like though there's lots of loungers and more pools available. Good WiFi throughout, clean room. Most of the staff are very friendly. Pool water is cold as a warning, more an issue for the adults I found as kids just jump in. Limited selection of drinks can get boring after a while. Convenience store on site is expensive but you can blow up your own inflatable with their air pump so that's nice. Decent Spar across the road for your random item or other food needs. It would be nice to have a morning take away coffee option. That's about all the negatives I can find, we had a great trip.

We are having so much fun here. It is great for families with young children. There is so much to do here! The service is great. The rooms are comfortable and the food is HEVENLY, especially for those of you who prefer Mediterranean food. Best vacation I have ever been to.

I can tell you, that while not being the most luxurious hotel, or the fanciest in any regard, it's just plain fun. I booked a group trip here for over 20 students, and it seemed everyone enjoyed it thoroughly, and it was very fun to be located so close to the beach and to have all the facilities this hotel offers. I would definitely recommend it for a mixed group.

Wish I could reply to the response from you guys, regarding the lie that your manager told you guys. We were phoned 2 times around 11.30am to come to lobby and wait and they didn't say that we should wait in our room. Your Reception specifically TOLD us that the room needs to be cleaned for another guests who are checking in early. So better don't post the lies here just for sake of covering your mistakes. Regarding 1300 other guests, they didn't have same medical situation as ours and hence they didn't report it. I wish NOT to have as well. But in case some one has it, they will know how the services are. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ANY COST, THIS IS RECENT EXPERIENCE REVIEW The hotel was not as we expected, the staff are not helpful at all in fact they are rude. I'm trying to list below all the issues we faced in the hotel, one of the traumatic holiday experience we ever had in terms of the stay/place in Crete. 1. our kid had an accident and wanted medical help immediately, which the staff were least bothered to even guide us to the nurse/doctor station. 2. On the last day we had another medical emergency and spent our night at hospital, we asked for the extension of the stay till 7PM(jet2 pick up time from hotel), they did not let us stay in the same room even though they knew the kid was unwell and didn't sleep whole night. we were back to hotel only by 9ish and they asked us to checkout at 11am. 3. they asked us to move to other room and made us wait in the lobby with our unwell kid sitting on the sofa for couple of hours and told us they cannot help us with this. 4. even though the room they were offering us was empty they asked us to wait in the lobby and delayed us using the room b saying they need to clean the room. 5. they just delayed even cleaning the room for couple hours even after paying upfront and upon multiple requests to the reception/manager to clean the room asap(god knows why, may be they were enjoying the pain of our 5 yrs old kid with sleep deprived and injured sitting on the sofa and waiting in the lobby) 6. adding to that, the plates/cutlery's were not clean in the room and in the main restaurant. 7. we tried to take food to the room for our kid who was not able to walk to the restaurant to sit and eat, heck knows who the guys was(may be restaurant manager) asked not to carry any food outside the restaurant and was talking sarcastically that we might take their plates away. 8. Talking about the beverages - both hot and cold drinks were pathetic, they didn't even have hot/cold milk to use for coffee/Tea, neither in the main restaurant or in the room. Not serving all cocktails that were in the menu in the bar. 9. AC / heater was barely working, oven provided in the room wasn't working(better not provide one if it doesn't work) 10. swimming pool towels were not clean. 11. kids club is just a small hut with no real entertainment or toys for kids. No entertainment for adults apart from the night half an hr shows.( for which we need to struggle to find information and seats during the show) 12. people were smoking all over within the kids playing area with no specific smoking zone which is not acceptable(specially with kids around) 13. bathroom drainage was not great as well.

Ruthless Rebel

Located right by beach and that's it's one and only perk. Rooms are dated, pools are freezing cold and food was average on its best evenings. Would not recommend as the staff are atrocious, moody and full of attitude. We love greece and go often, but we won't go here again. Main street outside hotel is occupied by mostly rental car stores (a good 70% of stores). Honestly, with what you'll spend, rhodes is a much better option.
