Have been at this hotel for one week and we have had an amazing time. The rooms are spotless, the staff are friendly. We have came with a 10 year old who has made lots of friends through the week and enjoyed all the poolside entertainment. The night time entertainment has also been really good. Food is just usual all inclusive but we have all managed to find something we have liked with 2 fussy eaters! My daughter has attended the kids club a few evenings and during the day the activities are really good and the staff have been great especially Pelayo who has joined in all the fun with the kids - thanks for making it a great fun holiday for my daughter.

Super clean and beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, warm pool and nice food. But most importantly the staff are great. Lovely service at reception with a smile, staff at the bars are very kind and try to accommodate all requests. Food and staff at Papaya were great. The friendly lifeguards kept us safe but also allowed everybody to relax have fun in the pool. Staff in the buffet restaurant were very polite and professional. Some rooms on our floor were being renovated and initially we were worried about it but we barely even noticed it in the end. Thank you for a great week, we can't wait to come back.

Stayed at Bitacora for 4 years now and loved it again this year. Fantastic hotel for families. Great service from all staff especially Jose at the pool bar. The children have really benefitted from the children’s entertainment this year. Entertainers Fran and Dog Man have been amazing. The only thing I would say is they have changed some of the good shows for a quiz night and karaoke but still an amazing time.

Looks nice, but that’s where the positives end – avoid this place The hotel looks great from the outside – modern, stylish, and clean. Rooms are small and don’t bother upgrading to a bigger room cause all you get different is a mirror, a side table and a coffee machine, the room is barley any bigger. beds are comfy, but nothing special. Then the problems start. The staff in the restaurant are miserable – apart from one who was lovely with the kids, the rest are rude and clearly can’t be bothered. While we were at the pool bar, one staff member actually pushed a child out of the way instead of just asking him to move. Completely unacceptable. The buffet is constantly empty. You go up for food and there’s nothing there. Ask about it, and you’re told, “It’ll come out when it comes out.” Not helpful when you’ve got hungry kids. Also, if you’re expecting food to be available with All Inclusive+ after 8PM like it says online – it’s not. Once the buffet shuts, you have to pay for food through overpriced room service, and not only do they charge for the food, they charge extra just to deliver it to your room. So much for “all inclusive.” Entertainment is poor. The kids’ team are lovely, but the rest is awful – the “disco” is meant to be 30 minutes, but ends 10 minutes early every night, and the music is so quiet it barely counts. During the day by the pool, there’s nothing apart from two songs and a quick game of football. Housekeeping is a joke. They make the beds but don’t change the bedding even after putting the sign they provide on the bed. Bathroom was cleaned once in an entire week. Air con? Completely useless, doors and windows was shut and locked and still was barley blowing air – might as well stand there and blow on someone. doesn’t cool the room at all. The bar stays open until 1AM, but they cut the music and atmosphere at 11:30PM – so it’s dead silent. No vibe at all. And then there’s the drink rule – even with All Inclusive+, you’re only allowed one drink per person, and you can’t even grab one for your partner. Makes it a nightmare when trying to juggle drinks and kids. Honestly, this place is all looks and no substance. Wouldn’t come back, and wouldn’t recommend it unless they change the staff, the policies, and the management. (Edit: if you call your entertainment great by having 3 things on during the whole day then I don’t know what else to say. Spoke with many people there and all there kids was bored along with ours)

Wonderful hotel. Room ready upon arrival after a very early flight. Rooms refurbished and beautiful. The entertainment team are fabulous and very energetic. Berlin hosted a foam party at the pool which was fab and also bingo. Love it!!
