We spent 7 nights in an over water bungalow with pool, it was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Huge variety of food/drinks available in the restaurant. Fun place to snorkel to. Thank you for a great stay.

This is probably the least luxurious resort in Maldives, everything is at a basic level, from rooms to food to things to do in the resort. I don’t believe they have any return customers, I would definitely not coming back here. I have visited other resorts in the Maldives so this one doesn’t do justice to what Maldives is about. There is nothing wrong with this place but at the same time there is nothing memorably about it. The staff is trying their best to offer some services but there is so much they can do. They are very nice, the people working there is the only plus. In summary, I recommend any other resort in the Maldives for a better experience

There wasn’t a single thing we did not enjoy on this trip. In fact, this felt like a resort with more of an authentic, cultural, local feel. I cannot speak for the other resorts. However, if the other resorts run by Hilton, Renaissance and all other Americanized resorts carried with it American type feels then we got the better end of this deal by far.

My first time in Maldives and I think I chose the best place to stay. Impeccable rooms, impeccable service, impeccable food...5 days in a Water Villa was definitely a BIG TICK on the bucket list. 1. Room - Room was amazingly sized, cleaned twice a day, beautiful view, turtles and fish galore. 2. Food - Food was mostly local cuisine, but enough choices for those Pizza and Pasta cravers also. Salads, desserts, variety everyday, the loved regulars also everyday. Cannot complain. 3. Location- Perhaps a little further out than most islands close to Male, but totally worth the LONG trip. It would help if the connection time was shorter, but that has nothing to do with the resort. 4. Service - cannot speak enough about it. From the time we came in at almost 3 AM till the time we left, someone was always available and QUICK, for anything at all. RESTAURANT - Chef Shamsuddin was the best ! Server Ravi and Salman were very kind. BAR - My brother Arif and Shahabuddin and Julie were fabulous. ROOM - Butler Shameen was attentive as required and rather helpful, even though we did not see a lot of him. Everyone on the resort , even the gardeners were acknowledging and polite. 5. Spa - The spa is a must go to. Such good service and massages and ambiance. 6. Entertainment - Now THIS is where there is plenty of opportunity for improvement. Karaoke night was fun for us because we love to sing. But every night at the bar, it seemed like the Patrons wanted to dance after the events were done. My suggestions : Keep the events short and open up the dance floors for a few hours. Gives the guests an opportunity to burn off the food and also intermingle. OVERALL - Please VISIT ! Yes its not 5 star, but truly IMO not sure what more 5 star would have provided that South Palm Resort Maldives to make the experience better.

It was our first visit to the Maldives was incredible! The islands are known for their stunning beaches, clear waters, and vibrant marine life. We stayed at SOUTH PALM RESORT for 5 days on a water villa, the view from the water villa was breathtaking. The transportation representative, SAFA provided excellent service, ensuring a seamless and comfortable transition from Male airport to the destination and we also got the access to the Moonimaa Lounge till domestic flight departure. The butler SHAAMIN was exceptionally helpful during our stay, providing attentive service and ensuring our needs were met with efficiency and courtesy. Highly satisfied with the level of assistance provided. The food was very good at Banyan restaurant, and there was an excellent variety of options at every meal, and the dining room waiter MOHAMED provided attentive and courteous assistance. Highly satisfied with the quality of service. MD KHYARUL, The room cleaner went above and beyond, surprising us with a romantic decoration. The attention to detail, including soft lighting and thoughtful touches, added a special touch to our stay. Truly appreciated the efforts in creating a memorable atmosphere. The buggy service was efficient and convenient. The staff (BHANDAL /ALI) was prompt and courteous in providing transportation, enhancing the overall ease and enjoyment of our experience. 5* overall great experience
