South gap is such an amazing hotel. We have stayed in this hotel for the last 10 years. The location is fabulous. Located in the heart of the gap. Very convenient. The staff are all absolutely amazing. Tia, the other staff working reception and evening security are super friendly and always happy to help. Rose and her team down in tropical mist are equally as fantastic. Amar serves the most amazing daquari’s. The food is delicious, and they have a great variety on the menu. The maid service is fabulous, the staff we’ve been lucky enough to meet are so loving and friendly. Avery is extremely helpful around the grounds with anything you require, he always has a big smile on his face. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful time is had by all. We cannot wait to return 😊

Our stay at South Gap was absolutely phenomenal. The location, rooms, and amenities were exceptional, but what really made it a 5 star stay was the service. Every staff member we spoke to was personable, helpful, and such a pleasure to talk to. Although a warning to light sleepers, some of the bars across the street can get pretty rowdy... but with the help of earplugs, I slept just fine!

I recently stayed at South Gap Hotel in Barbados and had such a great experience, thanks to the amazing front desk team, especially Tia and Shareka. From the moment I arrived, they were so friendly, welcoming, and always had a smile on their faces. Their positive energy and willingness to help with anything truly made my stay so much better. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests, and it made all the difference. While there’s no beach access directly on the property or immediately nearby, the hotel itself was a great place to stay - clean, comfortable, and made even better by the incredible service. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed place to stay in Barbados!

MY partner and I recently stayed at South Gap Hotel for a total of three nights and I must say that we will definitely be back! Throughout our stay we encountered two issues, one with our safe and one with our in room telephone, however both issues were resolved in the span of five (5) minutes, the staff were quick and ready to respond to any and all complaints you may have. Shout out to my girl SHAREKA as her commitment to service excellence was just simply awesome! This is what it means to be a hospitality professional going above and beyond. The hotel is located right in St. Lawrence Gap so there's many clubs and restaurants to choose from if you're looking to have a good time. Overall the experience was fantastic and we will definitely be returning guests in a few months!

This hotel is small and quiet. There wasn't much to do and no entertainments. As of the excursions it would have been better with staff on site than looking from different selections than go to first desk to further assist. Bring enough money barbados is expensive. The room that I book was studio with ocean view and listening to the wave at night was so peaceful and relaxing. Now, that was a plus. I slept like a baby and my bed was very comfortable. Furthermore, it's in a prime location walking distance to local bars, restaruants, hotels, food trucks etc. I will come back to this hotel. I felt safe and some of the staff were cool and honest to talk to.
