The Hotel is fine, amazing breakfast and great view on the balcony. In addition it's close to the center and connected to the beach. They have activities planned for entertainment and the crew is hardworking and friendly. There is noise during sleeping from the bars though you will have this in any other hotel in the center, so people shouldn't complain about that. Next to this the rooms are kinda dirty and old. There are little insects walking in the bathroom all the time. Else than that it's good considering the price. Would I book it again? No probably not but I do definitely not regret my choise. I would recommend to renovate the rooms

We stayed at the hotel for a week and we want to say that we liked everything. The hotel is located right next to the rocky beach. You can walk to the sandy beach in 3 minutes. The food was quite good, so from the first day we decided to change our half board plan to all inclusive, because the drinks at the pool bar are quite expensive, and all inclusive is more profitable if you want to enjoy cocktails. The staff was friendly and helpful. Many negative reviews about the fact that there are bugs or cockroaches in the room, and that they did not do housekeeping. Personally, our room was clean from the very beginning, not a single cockroach inside, housekeeping was every day, towels were replaced with clean ones every day. Regarding the old renovations of the premises - if you are used to luxury 5* hotels with European renovation, then you will not like this renovation. But we have extensive experience of traveling and staying in different apartments and therefore we have no questions about this, especially for the price it costs. The air conditioner worked great. We are only taking one star off because it was noisy until 4am from the nightclubs (but we were drunk every day, so it didn't stop us from sleeping😁) and because there are Pakistanis walking around the hotel offering you drugs or drinks in their nightclub. They are quite pushy and aggressive so you need to be careful if you go there alone😤 Every evening the hotel had a new show program and during the day various sports activities were offered. We are very satisfied with our vacation, so we will definitely come back again!🤟🏻

El Sol Tenerife enjoys one of the most convenient locations in Playa de las Américas, with the beachfront promenade on one side and a lively shopping area on the other. The hotel features a spacious pool area surrounded by palm trees, offering plenty of room to relax throughout the day. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were consistently attentive and professional. We travelled with our cat, who was accepted without any issue at the time of our stay; policies may vary, so guests planning to bring a pet should confirm directly with the hotel. We stayed on half board, with a varied breakfast and dinner selection. Drinks are charged separately, and the pool bar remains active for cocktails and daytime snacks, though these are not included in the half-board plan. One of the best parts of the experience were the spectacular sunsets, which can be enjoyed from the upper floors with wide views over the ocean. A comfortable, well-located choice with excellent walkability.

Great place if you like a night life but not so great if you want a quiet break. Music went on till at least 4am every morning which was expected being so close to Veronica's strip.. But as for the hotel it self, was a great place. Staff were friendly it was very clean (rooms cleaned everyday) and there was a great selection of food on the buffet. Would go again. Only disappointment was when we booked out we lost all access to the all inclusive even though our flight wasn't till late evening, would have been nice to have been able to get a snack at least and a drink as we feel we lost a day even though we paid for 7 days all inclusive

well its "functional". noisy but thats not hotels fault. The air conditioning in the rooms doesn't work at all. The halls and corridors have stains in much need of redecoration. Cant say I like having to get my own sunbed,and not being let out of the hotel till 830 to claim a spot by the pool.... ive not been to Spain since the 80's and sadly it has not moved on. Didnt take too kindly to being told off by security for eating crisps from the shop next door around the pool,... im on holiday ! not in a detention centre, also the token idea for cups is very 80's. id like an adult glass for my drink... please be a bit more relaxed! will do air bnb next time as the island is very nice but dont want to adhere to ridiculous rules whilst on holiday... will not come back sadly to this hotel.. would like to add reception staff and cleaners were lovely
