**Review of Hotel Sol Tenerife** During our stay at Hotel Sol Tenerife, it quickly became apparent that the establishment is not the ideal choice for those looking to enjoy an exuberant vacation. Despite our group of 24 lads being there for a stag weekend, the hotel’s policies seemed to frown upon having too much fun. We noticed that other groups shared the same sentiment, which led us to primarily use the hotel as a place to sleep rather than a base for our activities. One of the key points of the hotel is its location. Situated next to the strip, the proximity to nightlife means you can hear the festivities until 4 AM. This is great if you're planning to be out and about, but it can be a disturbance if you prefer a quieter environment. Regarding the accommodations, the rooms were clean and tidy, but labeling the hotel as a four-star seems a bit of a stretch. The facilities and services, although adequate, did not quite meet the expectations that typically come with a four-star rating. The food offered at the hotel was another area where expectations were not met. It was rather unremarkable and didn't leave much to be desired. Overall, Hotel Sol Tenerife serves its purpose as a convenient place to rest, especially if you're in the area for the nightlife. However, for those seeking a more engaging hotel experience or higher-quality amenities, it might be best to look elsewhere unless you find yourself in desperate need of a place to sleep.

Absolutely perfect hotel for us as a couple. The rooms were amazing. The sea view was the best! Breakfast was everything you could want. The promenade is literally just outside the gate and the strip is just up the hill outside the front of the hotel. This hotel is in a perfect location. All staff were amazing especially our ladies that looked after our room. We will definitely be back!

The hotel itself could have been worse. It’s okay if you’re not planning on spending too much time there. But be aware you will be best of renting the safe, after leaving for breakfast forgetting i had taken the ring my boyfriend had given me years before after a shower. We returned to our room cleaned but my ring missing. Looking everywhere we had to accept it was gone. Absolutely gutted. WE HAD EVEN PREVIOUSLY TIPPED OUR ROOM CLEANER?? To add to the blow bring earplugs the strip music doesn’t stop till 4am sometimes even 6 and the sunbed situations?? i wouldn’t even bother trying. You’ll be hand and fist fighting for one. Breakfast is mediocre but to be expected ( recommend the pancakes if you’re a picky eater) but overall wouldn’t make the effort to stay here again if given the choice.

Having just recently stayed in Sol Tenerife hotel. One night while we were asleep at 2am in the morning, there was a man that came into our room, not knowing there was a connecting door that was not outlined nor was it mentioned to us at any point. I felt very frightened, the man did apologise as he was just curious of where the door was leading however the door would also only lock from one side which is not very safe it could have been any unsafe person next door that could just walk into our room whenever they wanted. When speaking to reception and security they both seemed to have trouble understanding what we were saying. Also the location of the hotel is not very safe we witnessed fighting and drugs. If you’re thinking of booking please be aware of this. Positive points is that the breakfast is good and room is decent and clean. I’m not one to leave a negative review on however I’m just expressing my concern of the safety of people who are thinking of staying here.

This hotel is in a great location if you are sleeping in the day and out all night partying. Great for a lads or a girls trip. But if you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday with your partner or family then I wouldn’t advise to stay in this hotel. There is absolutely no sound proofing between hotel rooms and the corridor, you can hear absolutely everything all night. Our hotel room was facing the strip, which is fine because me and my partner are deep sleepers, but it sounded like you had the club speakers in your room😂😳. We was also given a interlocking room, as a couple we was just on our own but we could just let ourselves into the next hotel room which freaked me out and made me feel uncomfortable. Luckily the lock was on our side so the guests in the next room wouldn’t be able to let themselves into our room but is unfair on whoever hasn’t got the lock on their side of the door. You can’t get a sun-bed past 10 as they are all taken or reserved with towels. But on the plus side we didn’t let any of this ruin our holiday and both had a really nice time. Breakfast was nice! Air conditioning in rooms is very good! There is a gate that you can go through at the pool that takes you straight onto the beach! Location is good in the day time as you have a lot to go to in walking distance and Ubers aren’t too expensive to Siam park, Siam mall, Jungle park. Overall we wouldn’t come back to this hotel, but I wouldn’t stress too much if you have already booked in, we both really enjoyed our holiday. Ps - just bring some ear plugs😂.
