Sol Palmanova All-Inclusive

Pros: ENTERTAINMENT STAFF AND ACTIVITIES! Closeness to restaurants, beaches, transport and waterparks and other activities etc. Cons: Food could be better, better communication with travel agents to let us know we weren't in the hotel we booked. An option for no white towels and bedding (but that's just a me thing, I think) We weren't in the hotel we booked but that wasn't too bad, just slightly disappointing as most of the pools were closed apart from one, which was quite small. The hotel was clean, although I still don't understand why we have white bedding and towels, it begs to get dirty... Luckily, I brought my own towels and that was fine. The lifts were a bit of a tight squeeze for the amount of people who were staying at the hotel. The food was good but not enough options for kiddies and vegetarians/vegans (except salad...) Because we were in the sister hotel, Sol 2, we didn't have access to the gym, other pools, and the snack bar wasn't open either. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants and it's all flat, so it's good for people who aren't good on their feet. Katmandu Theme Park and Golf Fantasia are a walkable distance away. Western Waterpark and Marineland are short bus rides away. NOTE: If you want a shortcut, go out the back gate by the pool and pingpong table (you'll need your room keycard to get back in) and it brings you out by the shops and restaurants (a bit creepy at night, so don't go alone) What made our stay was the entertainment staff. They were great with the kiddies at kids club and had a range of different activities all day long, from young children activities (up to 4 years) to slightly older children activities (5-12 years). They had adult activities throughout the day which were a lot of fun and silly, they were a great way to make new friends. I especially liked darts, 1 min to win, yoga, corn hole, sjoelen and jenga. Evening entertainment was amazing too! They had mini disco for the little ones and then from 9:15pm each night they had either live music, dancers, magicians and comedians: we had the whole package. They also had an adults disco most nights where you can request a song and have a dance! The entertainment staff even taught us some Spanish dances too! It was incredible! I cannot thank Jack, Alex and the other members of the entertainment team (interns included) for making our stay so memorable. They are so friendly and genuine. They have a way of getting you out of your comfort zone without being too pushy. They are a credit to the hotel and I don't think the hotel would survive without them! 10/10 for entertainment.

An excellent place to holiday, prior to the main season, there's always lots of sun loungers. Rooms are spacious, food is excellent, and all the staff make you really welcome. Kids club through the day is good, plus there's adult activities in and around the pool. Night time entertainment in both hotels 1 & 2 inside and out. There's even a snack bar through the day too. It's that good we're planning on returning. Ohhhh and 300yrds to the beach via the back gate.

Deeply Disappointed – I Won’t Be Returning I had high hopes when booking Sol Palmanova, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. While the hotel has the potential to offer a great stay, several aspects were disappointing. Reception – Language Barrier Some staff members do not speak English, which is surprising for a hotel in a major tourist destination. While I tried to be understanding, communication should not be a struggle in a place that caters to international guests. Rooms – Housekeeping Issues Housekeeping services were inconsistent. Rooms were not cleaned properly, and basic standards of hygiene were not met. All-Inclusive – Misleading Concept The all-inclusive package ends at 11 PM, including both food and alcoholic drinks. This is a crucial detail that should be clearly stated before guests make a booking. It feels misleading and restrictive compared to other all-inclusive resorts. Drinks – Plastic Cups & Long Waits For a hotel of this size and standard, serving drinks in plastic cups is unacceptable. Even more frustrating, the bar was constantly overcrowded, often with just one person serving dozens of guests. The wait times were long and the service felt chaotic and disorganized. Food – Bland & Lacking Local Flavor The food selection was uninspired, heavily influenced by fast-food-style American cuisine. Protein options were limited, and everything lacked seasoning. I had to add salt to nearly every dish. In a destination known for its rich Mediterranean flavors, I expected much more local identity in the menu. Final Verdict I genuinely hope this feedback is taken as constructive criticism to improve the hotel’s standards. However, as it stands, I cannot recommend Sol Palmanova and will not be returning.

stayed here 5-12th April. At first a bit miffed at Sol 1 was closed but we soon realised that that was no problem at all. Had to wait a short while to go to the room but were given AI bands straight away. Room lovely, pool view, kettle and mugs, spotless, English Tv and good wifi. I thought the beds were comfy. Food and drink were lovely. We chose to eat out a couple of nights just because we like too. No need to upgrade to gold spirits as you are given good measure and reusable cups are used on a token service. spirits can also be taken into dining room. Pool freezing but refreshing! pool snacks are served in the main restaurant...you cant take them out but there loads of choice. fruit, fries, burgers, hot dogs, nachos...its amazing. Staff are lovely and there loads of activities if you want to do them. Entertainment is ok at night but we amuse ourselves. The location is amazing, out the back gate to Palma and 2 mins walk to sea and front of hotel is 7 mins walk to Magaluf strip. Only fault and not the hotels fault really....the Sol 1 and big pool and children's pool were closed which is understandable if its still quiet but that meant the only pool was busy and closed at 4!! This was rectified though as people refused to get out one day so they had o choice but to keep it open. It was a shame they didn't just open the children's pool and keep the hotel closed if not busy. We loved it so much we are returning in October.

Great if you like the Beach and eating poor quality food in abundance. One meat choice, several fish, pasta, pizza and burgers with roast potatoes swimming in liquid. Cockroaches in the bedroom on the last night not so good. Easy access to the great cheap buses we went to Palma and Soller easily and cheaply. Very busy bright bar area with disco TV and lots of tables Issue with plumbing in bar area made it very smelly sometimes although the staff got straight onto it.
