I've given 5 stars to match the price of the hotel. Obviously you get what you pay for and this hotel isn't expensive relatively speaking for an all inclusive. So it's 5 stars for what you pay, don't expect to have your mind blown but they perform at their level well. The food is decent and tasty, it's not unbelievable, but I've paid more at all inclusive hotels and had worse. The staff work incredibly hard and are the real selling point of the hotel imo, they are extremely efficient attentive. Special mention for the guy Danilo on the main bar of an evening, he is a wizard. He never stops and is fast and calm at the same time. Also the lady Maria who works that bar does a very good job. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the hotel.

Lovely hotel, very big rooms with big balcony’s . The location was a minute walk to beach from the back entrance and shops, main town was 15min on a scooter but taxis were only €5-6 to get there. Very clean and friendly staff. Big variety of food for dinner and lunch , always enjoyed the food and snack bar was amazing. Went in Jan there was entertainment every day regardless of the weather. Staff was even cleaning windows in reception. One heated pool which was very nice and warm especially when it wasn’t that warm. Overall 10/10 lovely hotel would come back again :)

Returned on 25th January after 10 night stay. Everything was perfect. Had read bad reviews from previous guests. They must be calling a different hotel. The food was excellent at every sitting. The rooms are good, could do with a re vamp but beds very comfy. The facilities are very good. The location was to die for. Only minor criticism is the nightly entertainment which was very mediocre. Saw better acts in local bars.

The Sol Lanzarote in Matagorda is a large all inclusive hotel with 3 pools and located on the beautiful clean promenade overlooking the long sandy beach. We were impressed with almost everything about the place. Excellent location, all staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you. No request is any trouble for them. The food was really good, plentiful with a huge choice that ensures there is something to suit all tastes. Loved the yoga and pool Tabata (Thankyou Laura). Only things I’d like to see improved but no biggy, the evening entertainment was of mixed standard. The lounge and stage areas are very echoey and loud with not enough comfy chairs. It felt like sitting in a busy airport. It could be made more comfortable with better and more chairs. There was always a begging session trying to get spare chairs together. The chairs they do have are a bit grotty and wobbly. Don’t let that put you off though. It’s a really great hotel and we felt very welcome and were taken care of extremely well. Our room was cleaned daily and we were gobsmacked at how efficient the staff are. WiFi is good too. Would be good to see smart tvs in the rooms. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is not run down or needing any work like others may suggest, you come through to a beautiful water feature, staff constantly cleaning. Constantly gardening. The entertainment was great. The staff work tirlesy to make this hotel clean and up to standard they were all polite as well . The food was plentiful and a huge choice, they do, struggle to keep it warm due to the doors being open but honestly I'm not fussy and just made sure to get there as soon it opened. You're paying bargain prices for this all inclusive package holiday, so I don't get all the negativity. We loved every minute. We work in hospitality ourselves in the UK, and appreciate hard work do not let the negative reviews get to you, we are humans not robots and things can't always be perfect!!!!! you are all doing AMAZING, thank you for being part of the reason for making lanzarote special for us. 9/10 ❤️✈️❤️✈️
