We have just come back from spending a week here. We had the best time i can’t fault this hotel in any way. The staff are great, really attentive to your needs nothing is too much trouble. I emailed the hotel with a couple of questions before we arrived & i got a reply straight away with a helpful response. The hotel is so clean the staff work really hard. They are constantly cleaning throughout the day. I don’t think i have ever seen such attention to detail. The kids club is amazing all the entertainment team are fantastic extremely attentive to all the children. A special shout out to Clara who we really bonded with we will miss seeing her everyday. My daughter loved the splash park it has a good variety of slides & is very well run. There is also soft play if you want some respite from the sun! The upside down house, 4D cinema & other attractions are such a bonus to have onsite. If you are staying at the hotel this is all included. Thank you to everyone at Katmandu who made our stay such an enjoyable one. We will most definitely be coming back again as we absolutely loved it 💕

This is a really honest review. Mixed positive and negative experience April 2025 Positives: The room was really spacious as we had booked a family room, and the bathroom was really big, and peefect for a family of 4. The place was really clean when we got there and I was impressed with the standard of cleaning for the whole trip in the entire hotel. Pool towels were in the room already, and we didn't have to pay the ten euros deposit for them, which was a bonus. There was a good selection of food and themed food each night, which we all enjoyed. Great selection for the kids, which is appreciated for picky eaters. They had Cbeebies on the TV, which was perfect for the kids to watch. The park attached to the hotel was a lot of fun for my 6 year old. Both children enjoyed the soft play area, particularly on cold mornings. One evening, the entertainment was a couple doing tricks like knife throwing and magic, and this was great. Negatives: I spoke to the staff before we arrived and asked for a cot to be put in the room for our baby as we were arriving in the middle of the night. It wasn't there when we arrived and took over half an hour for the staff to bring one up. One day, we came back to our room, and the cleaners had left our door open. One day, a young boy was struggling in the water and went under, and the "life guards" just sat and watched as a hotel guest jumped in and saved him. They didn't even go and ask if he was okay afterwards. Every morning at 7am, the pool area is pressure washed, and it's so loud and woke us up. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable as it was two single beds pushed together. The pool was not heated, so it was absolutely freezing. My 2 year old had blue lips after a few minutes and spent the rest of the holiday unable to use the pool. The video of the hotel shows fun phones in the hotel room, and we had a regular plastic white one (my little one was disappointed by this). The entertainment some nights was really poor, we had the world's easiest quiz followed by one question at the end to guess the total age of a few members of staff. We won items from the gift shop from the theme park..... Another night, there were 2 singers who weren't great.

Brilliant hotel! Lots to do for kids of all ages, we went bed and breakfast and only had a small fridge in the room, breakfast was delicious with loads of options! Splash park was good fun and the attractions were great too. Hotel is clean and friendly and the pool is fun able to get a bed. Kids pool is small but they all enjoyed it. My boy enjoyed the disco at night.

Got there, and found the standard room to be tiny, however we then upgraded to a family suite, the price wasn't outrageous. Once in a suite, room was perfect. Read online the food was hit or miss, we found the food was perfect. Something for everyone, kids and adults alike. Pool area good, however don't buy large floats, they will refuse these at pool side. Katmandu park excellent, mini golf five star, 4 d interactive rides perfect, although not for younger kids. Splash park well governed and fun. All in all I would recommend

Great hotel for families. Children loved it. Staff were helpful, pleasant, and attentive. Entertainment and kids club staff deserve a special mention. The kids' club was well run, supervised, and programmed. Staff were engaging and never failed to acknowledge the children by name as they passed through the hotel. Happy children, happy adults. Maid service was great. Food was very good with plenty of choice. Reception staff were brilliant, but I hated the reception desk, which gave the impression they needed protection! Only issues with the hotel were the very tired room I had. Only one door on the wardrobe, which was not full length and had insufficient space for even 1 person, let alone that it had 3 beds in it! The drinks cups were horrible but safe when so many children were running around. The token system may well stop people over ordering or drinking too much, but what a pain to be queueing to return empty cups to get a token so you can get another drink later. Please get some waiting staff. We're on holiday.🤗
