Not the best location for families, just off the magaluf strip 🙈
The food is very basic here. If you are a plain fussy eater, this will probably suit you.
Long ques at dinner time, rooms are very small.
Nice pool, and a great splash park. I would say kids ages 2-10 perfect hotel for them. All 4D rides are included.
But I would say better for ages 6+
The little Crazy golf courses are a perfect addition to the hotel.
We came in April, the weather was good, and the pools were too cold if I'm honest.
If I were you, I would come here from mid May onwards.
Kids club and entertainment every night is good for the kids. As is the soft play. 😊

The hotel is very nice, especially for kids there's a lot attractions for them. Cleaning service was low. Couple of times I asked did it again. Food good but not perfect. Nearly 10 minutes to go to the sea.

A fantastic holiday destination for kids! Took my 2 and 4 year old and they had the best time. Something different to do every day for 5 days. Near the beach. Food selection was great. Definitely happy.

Sol Katmandu is an exceptional hotel to visit, particularly when we do in the shoulder months of May or October. There is so much to do here that you just couldn't get bored if you tried.
The rooms are a decent size, with free WiFi, free fridge, free safe, and a small balcony.
There is a 36 hole mini golf course which is truly fantastic. For 10 euro per person, you can buy a wristband which allows you to play on the mini golf course as many times as you want during your stay. There are mini cinemas with moving seats for a 4d experience, shooting games, a laser dodging challenge, a splash park, indoor soft play area and the upside down house which has all kinds of cool things inside. All this (except for mini golf) is included for free with your stay at the hotel.
There are 2 pools, a shallow kids pool and a larger main pool. Towels can be rented for a 10 euro refundable fee once you return the towel.
The food in the restaurant is excellent. Always a huge range of choice. We opted for breakfast and dinner instead of all-inclusive, so ate lunch in the local area most days.
The entertainment in the evening is a kids disco from around half eight to quarter past nine, followed by a themed show from half nine to half ten. They are generally excellent to watch.
Last, but definitely not least is the kids club which is amazing. The whole team (led by the brilliant Lucia) are fantastic with the kids, and they do a whole range of different activities. It's on from eleven to one in the day, and seven to eight in the evening.
This is our daughter's favourite holiday destination by a huge margin. I'd recommend it to anybody with young children.
