We stayed for a week at this hotel. We had a lovely relaxing holiday at our stay here. The reception area of the hotel is beautiful and modern. The pool and restaurant and bar are located on the same floor. Great pool facilities with numerous sun beds and a bar by the pool, there were also lifeguards on deck constantly for safety and there were enthusiastic staff who conducted morning pool activities which were great fun. We had a lovely room with a gorgeous view of the mountains and sea. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning, amazing selection and really something for everyone.The restaurant had a buffet style of fry ups, cereal, fruits, fresh meats and cheeses, pastries and chefs making up fresh eggs, omelettes and pancakes the entire morning. We would also like to thank the cleaning staff for their wonderful service, rooms were made up every day even if we left the room later than the morning. We had a great stay, staff and facilities were excellent. Location could not have been better, 2 minutes to the bus stop- 3/4 minutes to the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the strip. Would really recommend this hotel.

We booked double rooms at Sol Guadalupe for a friends’ trip and had an amazing experience. The rooms were always clean thanks to the excellent housekeeping service. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. What we loved the most was the location – it’s just a short walk from the beach and close to the lively streets of Magaluf. The hotel also has a great outdoor area with a large pool, perfect for kids and relaxing during the day. Overall, the value for money was outstanding. Highly recommended!

The family room was nice and big with 2 balconies which is great. The hotel is clean, good staff, pool and evening entertainment. Enjoyed the stay. Couple of nights, there were noisy guests which can be improved. The breakfast is repetitive and very few choices especially hot food counter. Baked beans were watery and can be easily improved. The dinner also very basic and lack choices. There should be some bread/Naan in dinner which was missing. Also the pork and beef was repeating whereas Chicken, Vegetarian options were few. Always queue for breakfast and dinner as everyone was trying to get hot freshly made food. Food need to improve massively. Overall I like to hotel, location and cleanliness. Food need to be improved massively and water options should be provided in restaurants and rooms.

Stayed here last week for 4 days, last minute holiday. Don't listen to negative reviews, the hotel is lovely and clean and tidy. Room was cleaned daily, only stayed bed and breakfast so can't comment on meals in the evening. Not to much noise and 5 minutes from the beach and main strip. Would definitely return to this hotel if we ever go back to magaluf.

Gintare Matel

This was our second stay at the hotel, and overall, we really enjoyed it again. The location is excellent — just a 3-minute walk to the beach, and with bars and restaurants literally across the road,everything you need is within easy reach. Unfortunately, we were not entirely satisfied with the room allocated to us this time. It was in noticeably worse condition compared to our previous stay. The shower tray was wobbly and leaking, and the floor was quite dirty upon arrival. We did mention this to reception, but sadly, our feedback did not result in any improvement during our stay. On the plus side, towels snd bed sheets were changed daily, which we appreciated. The hotel itself remains very clean and well-maintained, especially the ground level, which always smelled lovely. The lifts worked perfectly, with no issues throughout the week. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Diego and his colleague who covered for him during a few days — both are incredibly hardworking, energetic, and always greeted us with huge smiles. Our daughter absolutely loved the kids' club, and Diego deserves praise for his ability to connect with children and keep them engaged. Compared to our first visit, the daytime entertainment was lacking this time — both in terms of staffing and variety of activities. However, the evening entertainment was fantastic, especially the DJ night hosted by Diego and his teammate — we had such a great time! It’s a shame some guests chose to scroll on their phones rather than engage with the show, as the entertainers put in a lot of effort. A huge compliment to Dominiquez at the pool bar — his attention to detail, friendliness, and interaction with children stood out. He made us feel truly welcomed and added to the positive experience. Communication with hotel staff was smooth and easy, and the breakfast buffet was varied and enjoyable. Despite a few setbacks, we still had a lovely holiday and would most likely return to this hotel again. With a bit more consistency in room standards and daytime entertainment, it could be even better.
