We really enjoyed our dining experience at Manava Restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh salads to well-prepared main courses and desserts. Everything was flavorful, well presented, and of high quality. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, perfect for a special occasion. Most especially, the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Amit deserves special mention for his excellent service — he was polite, professional, and always ready to help, which truly made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

I recently spent five wonderful days at Sofitel The Palm with my wife, including the New Year’s Eve celebration at Laguna — and once again, the experience was truly exceptional. I have stayed at this hotel several times before and have always left extremely satisfied. But this visit was special, and I would like to personally thank several members of the team who helped make our stay unforgettable. At Laguna Beach Restaurant, my sincere thanks to Vipin, Marco (Assistant Manager) and Artemis (the new Manager at Laguna) for their warm hospitality and attentive service. At Porterhouse, many thanks to Binoy (Manager and Crêpe Suzette expert!) and Tek — we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, including a perfectly prepared Tomahawk that we truly appreciated. For breakfast at the Premier Lounge, thank you to Elena (Manager) for the friendly welcome every morning — the Eggs Benedict were especially lovely. A big thank-you as well to the Culinary team — Executive Chef Daniel and his brigade, and Chef Akshay (Executive Pastry Chef) — for the consistently delicious cuisine and beautiful presentations. Our gratitude also goes to Subash, our butler, for his kindness, availability, and thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. And finally, sincere appreciation to Antonio, Hotel Manager, for leading such a professional and attentive team. The New Year’s Eve celebration at Laguna was outstanding — excellent dinner, champagne, a wonderful concert, and spectacular fireworks. A night to remember. Sofitel The Palm remains one of my favorite hotels, and we look forward to returning again soon.

We had such a brilliant New Year’s Eve at La Nuit in Sofitel Dubai The Palm. Arum from Maui Beach Restaurant and the team were fantastic… so friendly, attentive, and really on the ball all night. They made the evening feel extra special for us. The entertainment on the beach was great fun and created a brilliant atmosphere. The fireworks were spectacular. It was a lovely way to ring in the new year, and everything felt relaxed and well organised. Our stay at the hotel has been excellent so far. The staff everywhere have been consistently warm and helpful, and the lifeguards at the slide pool deserve a shout‑out, they’ve been amazing with the kids and keep everything running safely while still making it fun. We also appreciated the chef from Laguna coming out to chat with guests during lunch on New Year’s Day, which was a really classy touch. We tried the sea sofa activity with Seamocean on the beach, and it was such a laugh. We went for the drone footage option too, which was a great way to capture the moment. All in all, we’re having a fantastic family break and really enjoying our time here. The Murphys

A great hotel. 5 stars is well deserved for this 5 star hotel. Room was excellent - the mess in the inages is ours. Pool terrific, beqch immense. Staff were exceptional, so friendly and attentive from the towel guys in the cabana, to receptionist, gym manager, all the waiters and waitresses - especially our server Nabil, great guy. The buffet and fireworka on nye were off the charts. It must be the best buffet i have ever had in my life. I will be coming back here again. It's an amazing place and a wonderful experience.

After an overnight Emirates flight, we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 a.m. Despite holding Gold status in the ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program, this status was neither acknowledged nor taken into consideration at check-in. No room was available upon arrival, even though we were traveling with a 4-month-old baby after a night flight. While we understand that early check-in cannot always be guaranteed, some flexibility or alternative solutions would have been appreciated given the circumstances. While waiting for a room, we asked where we could feed our baby, who is exclusively breastfed. We were informed that there was no dedicated space for this purpose and were directed to sit in a public lounge in the lobby. For a five-star property, we found it surprising that no private or suitable space could be offered. Additionally, even if the room was not ready, providing access to a room to freshen up or shower would have been a welcome gesture—something we have experienced many times in other luxury hotels. A baby cot had been requested at the time of booking, yet it was not present in the room upon arrival. Furthermore, my birthday took place on December 23. There was no acknowledgment or gesture from the hotel, which was disappointing, especially as we have received birthday attentions in many hotels of a lower category, such as a simple cake or a spa voucher. At check-out, we took the time to explain these issues to the staff member assisting us. Unfortunately, we felt that our concerns were not listened to, as the focus appeared to be solely on settling the bill, with no apology, explanation, or commercial gesture proposed. To summarize, while the hotel is well located and the restaurants—although expensive—offer good quality, the property is extremely noisy, offers little attention to occasional or family travelers, and the check-in and check-out experience is clearly in need of improvement.
