Just back from a great 5 night break. The resort is in a prime location on the beach. Really lovely pool areas and beach set up. Service was generally very good, but you had to go looking for staff around the pool. Food was very good and breakfast had a great choice. Mariam ( brown short hair ) was very friendly & attentive in thre morning. In fact all the staff in general were very friendly.Room was partial ocean view really spacious everything you needed. Loved the Nuxe products. We went to the spa which had an array of spa treatments available. The gym was well equipped also.In all would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Don't expect 5 star and you won't be disappointed. 1 shower in the pool doesn't work and the second one is leaking constantly with a small stream of water, the area around it is getting really damaged by the water. TOWELS! this hotel does not have enough towels. It's an issue that has come up in other reviews. Especially in the pool area, the towels are always in the laundry and you have to wait at least half an hour. So while the pool area is pretty you can't enjoy because you've no towel to put on the bed (and you'll need them) I saw bird poo on some beds. While it's has nothing to do with the hotel the beach is filthy after a busy weekend. I had a very rude encounter with one of the staff members on the beach beds. The general attitude is to 'pat you on your back' and say 'there there' but they'll still happily take your money. The staff are generally pleasant but the hotel is not good at fixing problems and as others have said it's the lack of 'attention to detail' that let's them down for a 5 star Hotel.

Very basic room and building materials all obviously cheap plastic veneer. Light fell off the wall on first night. Service very slow in the restaurants and you have the chase the staff almost - especially the beach bar. They never answered the phone all week when we called the lobby. Pool is nice. Reserved beach area tidy. Kids club lovely. Overall not great value for money and wouldn't recommend to friends.

I recently stayed at Sofitel Agadir and was extremely disappointed. When I arrived, I found that the TV in my room was already broken, but instead of handling it professionally, the hotel made me pay for the damage. I was shocked — isn’t this something that should be covered by the hotel’s insurance or maintenance policy? I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and I’ve never been treated like this. I expected a five-star level of respect and service, but instead, I felt blamed for something that was clearly not my fault. Sofitel is supposed to represent luxury and trust — but this experience showed me otherwise. I truly hope the management reconsiders how they treat guests in such situations.
