I had a very comfortable stay with friendly and accommodating staff. The room was lovely, clean, and well maintained. The food was excellent, and all the restaurants were clean and offered amazing meals. The environment and beach were beautiful and spotless, with plenty of space for beach chairs and loungers. The resort truly felt luxurious, and they were very accommodating by granting my requested late checkout. Room service was wonderful, and the elite rooftop was absolutely amazing. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this resort.

With the resort only being juts over a year old we were not exactly sure what to expect. The hotel itself is exquisitely designed throughout and tailors for both the families and adults at an exceptional level. The kids clubs, evening entertainment and daily activities deliver to a high standard and the staff really do go that extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. The cleanliness and work that goes on behind the scenes did not go unnoticed…. Kudos to all who maintained this. The beach is pristine, the gardens are stunning and the bars/restaurants are beautifully decorated. What stood out for us was the standard of food and service throughout our holiday; practically flawless and has certainly raised the bar from our perspective. Each dish was freshly made, tasty with the intricate details not ignored. Service was fantastic…. With a big shoutout to Albert Herrera who managing the Bungalow for lunch…. Sensational from that man!! One fault we could pick was that we arrived as a family of 4. When we got in the hotel, late on the evening (2245) we had not cot for the baby and no bedding for our other child. When requested, this took longer than excepted.

Any review that doesn't start with "none of the pools are heated" must be fake reviews. Besides that, we had a great time here. We visited in January, as one does to escape the Midwest cold. This is not our first time in cancun. The food and drinks for an all inclusive were fine. The nighttime shows were really really great. The beach was constantly cleaned and attended. There was a lot to do. Kids clubs and ping pong and a great volleyball court. But you can't go in a pool until noon or later. And there is no such thing as a hot tub. None of the pools are heated. The service is great. The nicest staff. The pirate show and karaoke and fire show, I can go on and on about it. And parents aren't allowed on the water slides with their kids. Restaurants need to be booked a lot ahead, which can be done by contacting the hotel before your stay. I can't say enough nice things about everything. Except there are no heated pools. Like cold cold. We spent a day traveling to the island instead because the pools were so cold. Beautiful resort, great staff, food was good. Ice cold pools until 2pm when they are swimmable. No hot tubs. And there is an incredible mixologist with a moving cart. I could give another review just for him and it would get 5 stars. Seriously, find him early and make a new best friend.

Amazing family vacation! The staff was terrific especially Gama, Palo, Mario, Mayfer and the entire entertainment/pool staff. They interacted with my boys and made it so special by including them in games and remembering their names throughout our stay. Nabi in the teens club was extremely helpful as well. The food and drinks were top notch and the service we received at meals, poolside and beachside were phenomenal. We really loved the layout of the resort and it had a very boutique feel. I’m planning to come back next year! We have also been telling all of our friends and family what a gem we have found.

Five stars purely because of Twiggy Pool Bar service & experience. Jostin, Ciro, Omar, and Dalia were the highlight of our stay at SLS Playa Mujeres. They brought real warmth, personality, and consistently excellent service. They made the pool feel like an experience, not just a space. They remembered us, kept the energy light, and genuinely made our days better. The resort itself is beautiful, but some of the other services were uneven. The butler program didn’t quite live up to its promise, and one of the more frustrating moments was being denied a late checkout and feeling dismissed in the process. This stood out, especially after hosting our firm’s high-achievers trip there and spending over $50K. Overall, it was still a great and much-needed getaway. Twiggy Pool Bar is what made it memorable.
