We had an amazing time in Six Senses Laamu. The whole team made our Easter holiday extremely memorable. The kids club is excellent. Our daughter loved to visit each day and the special Easter activities made it fun for the kids. The kids loved the outdoor cinema and buffet in the evening and it gave parents some free time too. The snorkelling is truly magical. Green sea turtles, hawksbill turtles, black-tip reef sharks, different rays and lots of fish. What's more the reef looks very healthy. The restaurant food quality was superb and the half board package was very generous. Another nice touch was the ability to order breakfast with your GEM (butler) and have it delivered to your villa at no cost. We experienced both beach and over water villas and loved both. The beach villa with pool is huge with lots of space for chilling out, including shaded areas. The overwater villa was very special too with constant sightings of sea turtles. The overwater villa we had didn't have a pool and the balcony upstairs wasn't much use as it's too small but overall well worth the experience. We really enjoyed the rustic feel of the island and would strongly recommend it and we will revisit for sure.

Third visit, and it just keeps getting better. We can’t fault the resort - food, service, environment, activities are all incredibly good, if not better already than our previous visits in ‘21 and ‘23. Six Senses Laamu is a heaven with something for everyone - readers, spa-goers, divers, surfers, nature lovers, foodies, photographers, and even influencers. And yet the resort does all this with a very tangible effort to be sustainable, I mean they actually have their own conservation organisation and marine conservation team and laboratory (Maldives Underwater Initiative, look it up), and if you see plastic in the water, it didnt come from the resort. I love the resort and I love the people there, some new faces, some familiar ones - our GEM Shah always there for us making us feel taken care of and at home, and I have to thank in particular everyone at the dive center for making it so easy to dive and see manta rays every time I went out, as well as the marine biologists and conservationists for taking you by the hand and guiding you through all the wonders that there are below the surface of the waters of Laamu atoll. A special mention for the GM, Marteyne and whoever she reports to - she has run the resort for 15 years, and it must take a special kind of talent and passion for nature to navigate so well the balance between luxury, comfort, nature and environment whilst having such a happy and proud team of hundreds making it happen. I hope that in the long run that all maldives resorts can learn from this fantastic team.

Faultless. A beacon of beauty and exquisite warm service that proves barefoot luxury and environmental/marine sustainability can - and indeed must - absolutely go hand in hand. Their Junior Marine Biologist programme is unique and the perfect way to inspire visiting kids who love nature. The whole experience surely raises the bar for other Maldivian resorts!

What an absolutely stunning resort. Food amazing Location the best. Service the ultimate. Each guest has 1 person to look after them for the duration like a butler. We had Faudi looking after us and nothing was a problem. Including multiple changes of mind by us. Just go there you won’t be disappointed.

Our family holiday in Laamu was absolutely wonderful! We were thoroughly impressed with the warm and attentive service, our villa was spotless and beautifully designed, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. The water sports options are wide-ranging – including even e-foiling – and the diving opportunities were excellent as well. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the organization of the dives was smooth and uncomplicated. The underwater world is simply breathtaking! The food was also outstanding. There are several restaurants where guests dine on a rotating basis, each offering diverse and creative dishes that kept every meal exciting and enjoyable. A special thanks goes to our GEM, Afrah, who was always available for us, and to our attentive waiter, Ariba. All in all, Laamu is a destination we can highly recommend 👍🏽
