**Mixed Experience at Mary Hotels Alanya - 4/5 Stars** We recently stayed at Mary Hotels Alanya and had a mixed experience overall. **The Good:** We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The coffee bar with patisserie was absolutely amazing - definitely a highlight of our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach. The evening shows featured talented performers, and we particularly want to mention some exceptional staff members: Abdulsamet, Abdulrahman, and Shermus provided excellent service. **The Not-So-Good:** Unfortunately, several issues detracted from our experience. The bars had long queues, and waiting times at popular stations like the omelette and waffle bars were excessive. While the shows themselves were great, the lighting and technical setup was surprisingly amateuristic - performers often worked in near darkness. My wife has a gluten intolerance, and it would have been helpful to have clearer labeling or staff who could advise on suitable options. The sunbed situation was frustrating, with guests reserving multiple beds with towels, making it difficult to find a spot. Service quality was inconsistent. The spa staff, who handle beach towel distribution, were pushy and unfriendly, constantly pressuring guests for massages. At checkout, the receptionist was disengaged and on his phone, showing little interest in our experience. **Overall:** While we enjoyed aspects of our stay and appreciate the beautiful setting, the service inconsistencies and operational issues mean we likely won't return. We've experienced better-managed hotels in this price range.

+ Really beautiful place for snorkeling. + The wellness team was really great. + Good massage, but very expensive. • Food in general was okay. - The reception team is incompetent. - The room was not clean, and daily cleaning needed improvement. But reception team is the biggest disappointment. I could write a book about it, and it would be a drama genre.

Love this hotel, we will be coming again. Me and my husband loved our holiday and I think the hotel was a big play in this. We were amazed by the staff and facilities. It's very clean and the food is very good. You'll never get bored of the food. They had different themes for dinner every day. The staff are always polite and helpful. Entertainment was very good. Very child friendly. Indoor pool, Spa and gym available to use. Private beach. Security was very good.

I stayed at the hotel for the second time. The reception was friendly, and the rooms were fine. However, the food has gotten worse. The sandy beach could be cleaned more often, as it’s not very big. Since it was my second stay at the hotel, I received a plate of fruit and half a liter of wine. Unfortunately, because I didn’t drink the wine the same day, it was probably taken by the cleaner the next day, as it was no longer in the room. Overall, I would rather not recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely 2 room suite with friends. Sea view was fantastic. Room really good and spacious. Couple of things for improvement. The shower head was very limescaled and falling apart. Room door was a bit sticky to close. Room was cleaned whether we set notice on door or not. Food was as expected from an all inclusive. Some is good some is soso. They have to account for everyone's tastes. There was always something anyone could eat and always plenty to have. We serious ate too much. Coffee shop was only place to get a decent coffee and didn't open until 10.30. Far to late really. Drinks were generally good. Cocktails were nothing to write home about as were quite generic. Waiting staff were good and attentive. All in all we had an enjoyable time here and it was really good value for what you get. Location is gd and surrounded by lots of shops etc. Not far to nearby Alanya.
