The place is old and in need of renovation, but clean and with all the amenities you require. Rooms get cleaned everyday, food is delicious and the all inclusive package means a worry free relaxation. Don't expect a resort where waiters walk around serving you while you sunbathe, or loads of activities...but if you're happy to laze om the beach or next to the pool during the day and enjoy their evening shows, you'll enjoy this place none the less.

We did the all-inclusive package, which included all meals and drinks. Breakfast was a little basic but they made up for it with the lunch and dinner with a new menu everyday full of flavour. They also catered for the American with pizza, burgers and chip. The afternoon cake and tea was a no show and I expected a lot more sea food, but the things they do with chicken, brinjal and chickpeas were actually incredible. The open bar was a little disappointing, while the cocktails are delicious and the inclusive selection of spirits are sufficient, you wait a very long time for your drink each time you go to the bar, so I didn’t get as wasted as I planned. Sometimes there was no one manning the bar, but that’s something that can be fixed. The room was ocean facing. It was clean and a spacious with a balcony. The shower water pressure was perfect. The room was equipped with a mini fridge that was stocked with bottled water daily. Not much happening on the TV, but we not there for that. The aircon was powerful (heaven sent in that heat and humidity). Silver Beach Hotel is nested on a beautiful beach that we spent most of our days. There's a crystal-clear pool that’s nice and big, and I couldn’t even stand in the deep end. Next to the hotel is a public park on the beach that you can take a walk to, it’s safe and such a gem to explore especially with the calm seas providing the perfect habitat for sea life. Just back wet shoes and sunblock. A few blocks on the other side of the hotel is like a harbour that was Instagram worth for photos. We hired a car from the hotel, it was 50 Euros a day and we had to book it for a minimum of 2 days. They have 2 new automatic Suzuki Swifts on offer that is perfect to zoot around the island. Just be careful to fully inspect the car before you take it, as I was accused by the hotel reception of knocking it, and when the very handsome hotel manager was called to inspect the car he advised that the bump was there before. I would highly recommend driving in Mauritius, it’s a real adventure. We would just like to express our gratitude for the amazing service we received! There were 2 staff members that we would like to extend our special thanks to, who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect: 1. Malini: She did her rounds at breakfast, hyping everyone up with a contangoes happy personality and warm smile. She suggested places to visit and activities to do, and made a list for us and shared her experienced knowledge which made all the difference. 2. Zeus: He was just such a vibe, professional, always friendly and ensured that we were looked after. See you’ll soon!!!!

Unbeatable value for money ratio, superb location as it encompasses the beach (with lot of space for you), super friendly staff, unpretentious vibe and great food (tasty, different every lunch/dinner, diverse with veggie, fish, 1 or 2 meat options on top of soup, several salads and pasta).

Very nice, clean comfortable hotel. Service was fabulous, lovely views and right on the beach. Hotel does need a bit of love and a lick of paint but it really is charming. Food was good and well cooked but no real wow factor, however we never went hungry. It was my partners birthday and the staff really made an effort to make her day special. Kavi was amazing and made her birthday evening tremendous. We had a lovely time and would go back to this hotel again. Beach was great and there was no shortage of sunbeds and towels. Perfect place for a quiet relaxing holiday in paradise.

Me and family members expressing their serious concern and disappointment with the level of service we received during our recent stay at your hotel from 11th to 13th April 2025. Specifically, I and others were sick. Our symptoms nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. We believe the illness was contacted of food contamination and unsanitary conditions. VWe would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter further.
