We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in a 'tropical pool villa' and enjoyed every moment. The service was top-notch. All the hotel staff were pleasant, kind, and helpful with everything. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, as well as the food from the hotel restaurants. The room was equipped with everything one could possibly think of. In conclusion, highly recommended. It's important to note the hotel's location – it's far from all the main areas, so renting a car/motorbike or using taxis is necessary. The hotel does provide free shuttles several times a day to Central Samui mall and Lamai town, but at specific times. Therefore, for those who value proximity to the island's central areas, it's important to take this into account.

We stayed at this hotel for three days and, overall, it has a lot of great qualities. The room was absolutely beautiful, with a private pool, a bathtub, and a very nice minibar. The staff is incredibly kind and always tries to help and accommodate every request quickly and professionally. However, there were a few major issues that affected our experience. During our stay, there was a wedding at the hotel every single day. The main pool was closed off for private events, and the secondary pool was overcrowded and noisy due to ongoing construction work. One of the wedding nights included fireworks, and unfortunately, all the debris ended up in our room—on us—while we were in the pool. At night, we waited for the loud music from the wedding to end, only to have someone throw a pepper at me unexpectedly. The team did handle each situation quickly, but these incidents definitely took away from what could have been a perfect experience. Additionally, the gym was under renovation, and guests were required to book a shuttle in advance to use another gym in the city. This made it inconvenient enough for me to skip my workout entirely. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff—but the constant private events and ongoing renovations really disrupted what should have been a relaxing stay

We recently celebrated our wedding at Silavadee Pool Spa Resort and it was nothing short of magical. From the stunning ocean views to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated to make our special day unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Su, our wedding coordinator, whose dedication and attention to detail brought our vision to life seamlessly. The floral arrangements were breathtaking, perfectly capturing the essence of our mood board. The engineering team went above and beyond by constructing a deck extension for our daytime fireworks and creating a unique curved table landscape for our reception—all executed flawlessly. We also want to express our gratitude to the Food & Beverage Coordinator, who was involved and supportive every step of the way, ensuring our culinary experience was exceptional. A special mention to Tristan, whose personal touch and invitation to the gym made us feel truly welcomed. His leadership is reflected in the warm and friendly demeanour of every staff member, regardless of their role. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the approachable and attentive staff, the exquisite food (shout out to the head chef, for some great food) and the overall ambiance of the resort. If you’re considering a destination wedding in Thailand, Silavadee is the place to make your dreams come true!!!

Our two-night stay at Villa No. 012 was, unfortunately, underwhelming — and for 36,500 THB, we expected much more. The villa itself is clearly outdated and in need of renovation. There were holes in the roof, the bathroom window was damaged upon our arrival and needed repair, the water pressure disappeared at one point (though it was later fixed), and the pool was missing many tiles. The food at The Moon restaurant was below average. I had the Wagyu burger and my wife ordered a pasta dish. The burger was small and the quality of the meat did not match what one would expect at that price point. The pasta was similarly disappointing. The mango smoothie and sparkling wine were fine, but again, the pricing is not justified by the quality provided. On a positive note, the service was excellent. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. However, when we checked out, we were surprised to find that two bottles of beer had been added to our villa tab — despite the fact that we never consumed them. While we were not charged, it felt like an unnecessary and unpleasant way to end our stay. Overall, we were not very satisfied with the experience and felt that the quality did not match the price.

Overall, it was a great resort and we recommend others stay there. The views from the restaurants, pools and rooms are spectacular and that’s reason enough to stay. The food at the different restaurants was very good - better than we expected going in. There was a nice mix of western and Thai options throughout the hotel. The staff was mixed — mostly very attentive, helpful and friendly but at times the restaurant service was lacking. There either seemed to be not enough staff or sometimes inattentive. For example multiple days at breakfast we got wrong coffee orders. While we were there the hotel started some renovations so parts of the resort were closed, which was a bummer. Another positive, though, was the spa. We had a great massage and were very helpful in designing a plan for our treatments for my wife and me. While it was a more romantic couple trip for my wife and me, we saw multiple families and it seems the resort caters to a mix of guest.
