I celebrated my 40th birthday at Silavadee Pool Spa Resort in Koh Samui, and it was truly unforgettable. The resort offers breathtaking ocean views, beautiful private villas, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make our stay special. I would like to give a special mention to two staffs, Bee and Dream for their wonderful service and fun conversations we had with them. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh options, and the infinity pools overlooking the sea were unforgettable. Overall, Silavadee is a stunning luxury retreat that combines natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

First time in Koh Samui with my high school friends, and we couldn't have picked a better place! We planned and booked this trip a year in advance for a long holiday, and it was worth every single second of waiting. The resort just finished its renovation, and everything looked absolutely stunning. ​We stayed at the Silavadee Ocean Front Pool Villa Suite No.2, which has the absolute best view in the entire resort. At 30,000 THB a night, it was worth every single Baht—the view is worth millions! We were happy every second, from watching the sunrise to seeing the sunlight sparkle on the sea during the day, and swimming under a beautiful full moon at night in our huge private pool. ​The public areas and restaurants were excellent with delicious food, and the service was top-notch. They even have a dedicated app to chat and request anything you need, which was super convenient. The private beach was also incredibly relaxing. ​We will definitely be back if we get the chance! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Khun Su, who gave us an incredible experience from the very first day she helped us book the villa, all the way through ensuring we were perfectly taken care of during our stay. This is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in my entire life! it felt like paradise. Everything about this resort is absolutely perfect. The place is exceptionally clean, to the highest standards, and extremely elegant in every single detail. You can clearly feel the luxury and care throughout the entire property. The staff are beyond amazing!! genuinely some of the best and most professional people I have ever encountered. Their hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail were outstanding and unforgettable. The private beach is incredibly clean and easily one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. I stayed with my family in a two-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was excellent in every way.. spotless, beautifully designed, and absolutely comfortable. Everything was perfect. I honestly wish I had stayed for more days, and I would return without any hesitation.

We stayed here expecting a five-star experience, but unfortunately it felt closer to a three to four-star hotel overall. The hotel is extremely child-friendly, so if you are looking for a peaceful or relaxing stay, I would not recommend it. During our stay we had crying children on both sides of our room, and the main pool area was very busy with kids playing. The pool itself is quite small, with limited seating, roughly around 20 loungers, which made it feel crowded. That said, our jacuzzi room was beautiful and a real highlight. The room was spacious, well designed, with plenty of storage, a very comfortable bed, and a lovely ocean view. We couldn’t fault the room itself. We also had high hopes for the private beach, but on arrival it was covered in trash, seaweed, and fallen branches, and looked like it hadn’t been maintained for some time, which was very disappointing. The food was okay, but far from what you would expect from a five-star hotel. While we were aware of the construction works before arriving, the amount and visibility of it still took away from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were genuinely lovely and attentive, though some appeared quite inexperienced and we often had to look for someone to order food or drinks. I’m sure this will improve with more training. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you are travelling with family or small children. Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver the calm, luxury experience we were hoping for.

Review of a 5-Star Luxury Hotel Experience That Fell Far Below Expectations This trip to Koh Samui was something we planned very carefully, hoping everything would turn out as perfectly as possible. We spent a great deal of time researching hotels through social media reviews, travel websites, and even using AI to compare several luxury resorts before finally choosing Silavadee Pool Spa Resort. The image presented by the resort suggested a peaceful and luxurious 5-star retreat with beautiful ocean views, excellent spa facilities, and an atmosphere truly designed for relaxation. We booked an Ocean Front Pool Villa, one of the resort’s premium and higher-priced room categories. Prior to arrival, we also called to confirm both the room and spa reservation, and everything seemed smooth and well-organized beforehand. However, upon arriving at the resort, our first impression was honestly quite disappointing and noticeably different from what we had expected from a 5-star luxury property. The entrance area and reception felt much older and more worn out than anticipated. Many of the wooden structures appeared heavily aged and lacked the refined luxury atmosphere portrayed in promotional photos.
