We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat. The hotel is very well located, close to Mutrah and Old Muscat. Although check-in officially starts at 3:00 p.m., we were given our room at 8:00 a.m. upon arrival directly from the airport after a night flight, at no extra cost. We truly appreciated this kind gesture—thank you very much. The room was spacious and well equipped. While it could benefit from some renovation in the near future, as the décor is a bit dated, everything we needed was provided. The hotel offers many facilities. The outdoor pool is pleasant and nicely heated. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to try the indoor pool, spa, or the large fitness center. Breakfast was absolutely excellent, with an impressive variety of options: European continental, English, Indian, and Arabic dishes. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Gluten-free bread was available. We didn’t notice any plant-based milk, but given the wide selection, everyone can easily find something to enjoy. We would not hesitate to stay here again. A well-deserved 5/5.

Perfectly situated in Muscat. Rooms are spaciously designed. TV channels are almost endless, gyms are very well equipped and maintained. Breakfast starts at 630am, and the spread is wonderful. There is ample free parking for guests. I'll return again in future.

My experience at Sheraton Muscat was exemplary and fully reflective of a true five-star standard. From the moment of arrival, the hotel impressed with its elegance, professionalism, and seamless service. The staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality throughout the stay. Check-in was efficient and welcoming, housekeeping maintained impeccable standards, and every team member was attentive, courteous, and genuinely focused on guest comfort. The level of service was consistent, polished, and reassuring at all times. The non-vegetarian dinner menu was a standout highlight. The culinary offerings were extensive and thoughtfully curated, featuring premium-quality meats and fresh seafood prepared to perfection. Each dish was rich in flavor, expertly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The meats were tender and cooked with precision, while the seafood was fresh and delicately balanced with refined sauces and accompaniments. The variety and quality clearly reflected the expertise of the chefs and the high standards of the Sheraton brand. The dining atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, complemented by attentive and knowledgeable service that enhanced the overall experience without being intrusive. Overall, Sheraton Muscat delivers excellence in every aspect—luxurious accommodations, flawless service, and an exceptional non-vegetarian dining experience. I stayed at the Sheraton Muscat for three nights during a family wedding, and while the hotel itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxed stay, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Murtaza Merchant, the Head Service Associate. Throughout our stay, Murtaza ensured that every experience — from in-room dining orders and late-night snacks to our daily lunches at the restaurant — was handled with remarkable warmth and professionalism. He personally looked after every request with genuine care and attention. One gesture I really appreciated was when he prepared a special lemon iced tea for me — and I honestly have to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s thoughtful touches like these that make a hotel stay feel personal. Across the three days of wedding events, the schedule was busy and unpredictable, yet Murtaza remained consistently calm, accommodating, and committed to making sure everything ran smoothly for us. He checked on us regularly without being intrusive, anticipated what we might need at the table, and made sure every detail was taken care of. His friendly nature, positive attitude, and sincere dedication truly set him apart. Outside the events, the hotel rooms were comfortable, clean, and fully functional. The staff across the property were welcoming, and the overall stay at Sheraton Muscat was excellent. I genuinely recommend the Sheraton Muscat to anyone visiting the city. And a special mention once again to Murtaza, whose hospitality and attentiveness made our stay extra memorable. His service deserves to be recognised and appreciated

Here’s my take…. Nice! Stayed here for 5 nights and the two highlights were breakfast and the pool! The breakfast was huge with lots of options. The pool was beautiful with great umbrellas and lounge chairs, not huge but there weren’t lots of people there so seating was never a problem. It is well kept but clearly outdated. The location is decent for the touristy older part of town but not to the central restaurant area of town, though even still not so far away.
