It is a very big hotel and it actually feels like that the Garden wing and Ocean wing are two separate hotels. I recommend the ocean wing. The breakfast not only offers à la cart options here, but it is much calmer and better food. The pool is also nice and generally there are a lot of amenities, particularly for families with kids (kids club is nice too). The room is awesome and the bathtub on the balcony is perfect to enjoy the sunset. The team is very pro everywhere and make you feel actually staying in a smaller hotel. I'd recommend certainly.

Great experience and time there - very luxurious. The pool area was nice and inspiring with lots of variation. The beach was very kid-friendly but a bit wide and time consuming to access as a result. Nice and recommendable resort for families - with a great breakfast buffet.

Location is probably the only downside. But they hotel has a lot of entertainment with other options near. The service off the bell boys and at the reception is second to none. Late night check in was very smooth and fast. ( although during the day it was just fine) Rooms are clean and large (ocean wing) Buffet restaurant is good. Japanese could be better. Spa was great. Atmosphere around the hotel is fantastic.

I've been privileged to stay at a few 5 star resorts around the world and I have to say that this resort and the experience was truly beyond compare and I cannot rave highly enough about my experience from start to finish. We booked the hotel the day of our arrival in KK after realizing we were not prepared to stay at our previously booked accommodation...upon arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful oceanview premium suite in the Ocean Wing - wow!! If you can find it in your budget to book Ocean Wing at this resort it is far and away worth it. The room was spectacular with a huge tub on the balcony, large bathroom with high end showerhead and also a large dressing room - plus the most comfortable bed I've slept on! Staff was impeccable - always opening car doors, greeting us with exceptional kindness and going above and beyond any way they could to make our trip special. Worth every last penny of the experience & I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Spacious room (I booked garden view but seems like it was upgrade and we had a beautiful sea view one), good variety of food for breakfast, beautiful large territory, clean sea (although with big waves during our stay), attentive friendly staff, many games for a perfect family leisure vacation. Also many restaurants and bars with various food options. We enjoyed it a lot as always with Shangri la hotels 😻
