I had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok Mauritius. The service was truly outstanding from the moment we arrived — very warm, welcoming, and respectful of all cultures. We were even offered wine or a non-alcoholic option upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options. There are three restaurants included in the half-board package, each with its own unique and cozy atmosphere, which made every dinner feel special. The room was beautiful, and the overall service throughout the stay was consistently great. The resort facilities are very well maintained and offer something for everyone — it’s perfect for couples and families. I would say it may not be the best choice for solo travelers looking for a more social or lively scene. One of my favorite things was the beach service — absolutely amazing. There’s even a service button at your beach chair, so you can easily call for anything you need without leaving your spot. Such a thoughtful and convenient detail! Just a small note: the resort is located on the east side of the island, so if you’re planning to explore, keep in mind that most activities in the north and west are a bit far. It’s a good idea to plan your activities accordingly, especially if you prefer staying around the resort. Finally, a big thank you not only to the hotel but also to Mauritius — such a beautiful country with incredibly friendly and welcoming people. Highly recommended

Our honeymoon at Shangri-La Le Touessrok in Mauritius was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine care that it immediately set the tone for a truly unforgettable stay. The hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional—every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. When we entered our room, we were absolutely delighted. Oodesh had beautifully decorated it for our arrival, creating such a romantic and thoughtful atmosphere—it was the perfect start to our honeymoon. The room itself was stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea and the beach that we could admire from morning to sunset. Everything about our experience—from the friendly staff to the attention to detail—was simply outstanding. We felt truly cared for and cherished throughout our stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend Shangri-La Le Touessrok to anyone looking for a luxurious, romantic getaway. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion, and we will treasure these memories forever.

The breakfast restaurant staff were also absolutely perfect every morning. Their kindness, attentiveness, warm smiles, and excellent service made each morning feel special and welcoming. The restaurants throughout the hotel were all amazing, every team member was welcoming and attentive, and the food was consistently excellent. What impressed me most was the genuine hospitality and care from everyone throughout the hotel. The level of service is truly world-class, and it is rare to feel so welcomed and appreciated during a stay. Thank you for making my time here so memorable. Stayed for a week end and had one of the nicest and best hotel experience we have had as a family for a long time! The attention to detail and the friendliness of the whole staff was on another level. From the welcome of Akshay, to the dedication of Sada at the front desk, as well as Gina, Nicole and Smita at Breakfast without forgetting the whole staff at the boathouse and at dinner. It was an incredible experience. The children loved the kids club and their whole staff was amazing, even calling us to collect gifts in spite of our children not having gone to the activities on the day. To the manager/staff who brought our whole group a pack of water bottles whilst we were playing football on the beach, those are the little touches that make a good hotel great! Thank you to all!

Service have been really really low , I wouldn’t blame the staff, I would say this is from the top management of the hotel, although we’re full board but we ended up paying for everything including the water that we get during the meals . One day was crowded and the staff was really running trying to serve everyone , your order will take minimum 1 hour to be prepared even if it was a soft drink, I don’t want to blame the staff they were trying to do their best , but only two people serving 30 or 40 people , some of their restaurants strictly requesting dress code , which you wouldn’t have in mind while coming to an island and also they never send you an email or messages to notify you before coming, we paid around 11,000 euros for 11 nights ( roughly 1000 euros per night for full board normal room nothing special ) and while check in I’m just asking nicely where can we have our lunch, and the answer I got wasn’t this restaurant or this restaurant, the answer was “sir if you’ll have lunch at the check in you will pay for lunch at the check out”, I get you these are the rules , but at is it the way to answer the first question. On arrival while paying this amount of money you really expect a good service , I could say a 3 star hotel could do much better.
