Also the second stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok was absolutely exceptional and truly unforgettable. We arrived early, well before check-in time, and were warmly welcomed by the staff and kindly invited to enjoy breakfast while everything was being prepared. Shortly afterwards, we were already able to move into our room — a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel valued and relaxed. The resort itself is stunningly located, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, with beautiful private beaches, immaculate pool areas, and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere throughout. The rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable, offering the perfect retreat after a day in paradise. The food was outstanding — diverse, fresh, and consistently of the highest quality. Every meal felt special. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff: every single member of the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome and cared for. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn’t even consider looking for another hotel. In fact, we are returning this February for the third year in a row — which says everything about how much we love this place. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury, warmth, and an unforgettable experience in Mauritius. 🌴✨

We stayed at this hotel for five nights and had an exceptional experience. The hotel offers what is arguably the best beach in Mauritius, complete with its own private island and a wide range of activities, so there’s truly no need to leave the property. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and everything throughout the hotel was immaculate. The pool area deserves special mention as well—amazing, cozy, and perfectly designed for relaxation at any time of the day. What truly stood out was the professionalism of the staff and management. When we mentioned a minor inconvenience related to an incident, the team immediately stepped in and handled the situation with remarkable care and professionalism. The level of staff management here is outstanding—one of the best we’ve experienced. Every hotel we’ve reviewed in the past could learn from the way this hotel’s team operates. They genuinely made us feel at home, which is why we are 100% certain we will be coming back. Special mention goes to the two head managers and everyone working at the Coco restaurant. We enjoyed the most beautiful views and received exceptional hospitality during both breakfast and dinner.

We had an wonferful week at this resort. The staff couldn't do enough, they looked after us so well and kept us relaxed. The food was great, especially Coco's Beach Bar for Breakfast & Lunch but the highlight was Safran, delicious Indian cooking! We really enjoyed visiting both Illot Mangenie & Ile aux Cerfs.The hotel runs a boat every 20mins to these islands, great service! You can walk from Illot Mangenie to ile aus Cerfs and get the boat back, highly recommend!

The hotel is nothing short of amazing. - food is incredible. All restaurants are great, even the buffet which has themed nights (Arabic, Italian, Pan Asian, etc) with the highness quality food. - the service is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, they are super accommodating - we travelled as a family and they were super child friendly. Equally, when we left our daughter in the kids club, the adults pool was quiet and lovely. - the kids club does great activities - fishing, crab hunt, henna tattoos, you name it. It is the first time ever my daughter wants to stay and keeps asking to return - the beach is wonderful, they have a very big stretch of sand and lots of water sports are available (complimentary) which was great fun in the lagoon - the private island is only 5 minutes away and it is such a quiet, wonderful place. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!
